  1. He has only played 3 SPL games and has been close to MOM on three occasions. But he is a central midfielder not a wide player. He isn going to be a cracker.
  2. As my good friend Graeme Bennett said to be at the end of March - "I think I'll give Brewster a chance"
  3. Aye - there is no shortage of diddies - Easter Road will be full of Sneck "diddies" - both on and off the park - and a few in the Directors box. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
  4. Well it is all yesterdays news now. I hope that the club desist from holding tokenistic meetings and appalling attempts at psychology. Reckon Messrs Savage, Bennett and co. may have learnt from this debacle. I would suggest that they look fer reactions through this website in the future and/or through the loval papers. It would be an idea if they had a specific fan to whom they communicated with. I just hope they dont get some of the Board members to ever again try to masquerade as new posters on this site. That was possibly the most pathetic move of the week. :rotflmao:
  5. :rotflmao: Feck me - a buddung psychologist. Well it was a good try at a formulation but keep watching my posts and you will learn. I was merely attempting to gauge the true views of other fans by declaring opposite viewpoints and therefore trying to ensure that the hype is limited and does not cloud their judgement. A delusion is a false belief - the fact that he does not come over as having pace and being a grafter are apparently backed up by quite a few others. The fact that he is a talented player is without doubt and is plain to see. Can he fit into our system or does our system have to change to accomodate him and bring out the best in him ? - that was my major concern and nothing was been done about it. Brew is exactly the man to do that. I do however hope that the possibility of a turbo-charged orgasm in the near future is correct. :001: I am afraid that I can only award you 3/10.
  6. Ya can count me in and two weans - BREW ARMY - BREW ARMY
  7. As my dear friend Ken Dodd once said to me : Tears have been my only consolation, but tears can't mend a broken heart I must confess "Let's forgive and forget, turn our tears of regret once more to tears of happiness". Happiness, happiness, the greatest gift that I possess, I thank the lord, that possess more than my share of happiness So its tatty bye to Charlie Christie and lets all say how tickled we are to greet the tattyfilarious Craig Brewster. And may I suggest that Easter Road becomes a "Ken Dodd" day, we all gather together our red, white, blue and black tickling sticks, gel up our hair - well some of us - get the appropriate false teeth - well some of us already have them - and have a feckin good laff. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
  8. Would have to disagree. Coyle isnt exactly doing a wonderful job at Perth at the moment and he has no management experience at a higher level. I would even say that Brew is the better all round footballer. I would have been quite happy to have had Brew in place when he was first asked at the end of last season.
  9. Well - at least we can now add Brewster to the playing squad as well.
  10. Just hope that we splash out this week like we should have ages ago :029: The dealings on the comings and goings before the end of the "window" could determine whether we stay up or go down.
  11. The Board have been tremendous but they are firmly to BLAME for the present fiasco.
  12. At least it can attract attention and it can be kissed by the Board.
  13. Yip and THEY are the main reason fer our present predicament. This should have been sorted out at the end of last saeson.
  14. Kencar - He has zero pace - He's not match fit. There were a couple of dives. There was some gesticulating and shaking of his head when other players made mistakes. Redn Black - Not a grafter it has to be said ! What I was trying to say was - is he the type of player that oozes claas, takes yer breath away and looks like he could win games on his own ??
  15. JIMMY CALDER, INVERNESS CALEDONIAN THISTLE Don't think we have ever had such an entertaining player, even when he had a bad game he always made me smile with his ventures all over the park. Caley D Runs out of defence, sitting on the bar, saving at least 50% of penalties against him. ICTChris It has to be Jimmy Calder. He's playing for Nairn County now and he came on as a sub against QPR and within 5 mins he had tackled a forward and went on a run down the left wing. Ah! the memories. CaleyNairnite We will never see another keeper like him - absolute Legend. KingBeastie After a rocky start at Caley Thistle Jimmy won fans over with his tremendous performances - not bad for a fat lad that worked as a brickie !!! Remember when he sat on the crossbar whilst playing for Inverness Thistle in a fairly one-sided match !!! Scott MacKenzie Just SOOOPERB, never a dull moment. Oats I never thought I could grow to love a ex-Thistle player so much. He was great entertainment and was the best keeper I have ever seen at saving penalties. I was always confident he was going to save it, rather than worrying the opponent was going to score it. Stomach
  16. Hello, is that McDiarmid Park, Can I speak with the Chairman. Hello, this is Inverness Caledonian Thistle - can we speak with Owen Coyle about a possible move ? -You can talk to him but the answer is NO Thanks for your time - Alan..I fixed it.
  17. I am reliably informed that Cellic have offered MARK BROWN on loan fer the rest of the season. Czech goalkeeper Michel Danek is about to sign and all of a sudden Mark is not required - at least until Boruc goes. The other goalie in the mix is Jamie Langfield. :crazy07:
  18. Hmmmmm. Where have I seen all of that before - of course ma feckin tea leaves. 5 out of 5 Gordy. Heard he is going to ask the board to finance the transfer of Scott Wilson from the Pars and give him the captaincy.
  19. I am reliably informed by my Aberdeen source that a certain Jamie Langfield may well be on his way to Inverness.
  20. DS - Hiya Neil. I am going to ask you a question and I would like you to say NO. This will save our board a lot of embarrasment becos then we can honestly say that we asked you and give the job to Craig Brewster as we promised him three months ago. NW - Feck aff. DS - Thanks Neil (hangs up) - Done and dusted Alan. :rotflmao:
  21. Aye and I can tell that the Lunatics have taken over the Asylum. Here is a phottie of the last Board Meeting.
  22. I am right behind you Mr Brewster and the players and Inerness Caledonian Thistle FC. I may criticise your mistakes but it will be constructive, as ever. Good luck Brew - we need to stay in the SPL. Lets hope ya get the best out of Marius. I think that you will. BUT AS FER THE "EXPERTS" IN SUPPOSED CHARGE - TRY RUNNING A BROTHEL. :rotflmao:
  23. The process from initial contact, initial interview, selection and appointment took THREE months.
  24. I would be quite happy if the board members join in. Oh, Mr Savage - Do I really need to wear these shoes that you bought me ?
