  1. Shearer back as coach. What next ? Pele back as scout ? :024:
  2. Well done County - sounds like they were up for the game and we weren't. Good to hear of Zander getting a run out last night though. Brew must give him a chance of an extended run with the first team squad. This is just the time to get duff performances out of our system and not after the 2009/2009 SPL season gets underway.
  3. Ryan Esson coming to ICT could be one of the better deals hatched by the management. I thought he was a pretty good keeper so it could be a good move for us.
  4. If we got offered ?1m for Marius we should take the money and run. If we got offered ?500,000 for Marius we should take the money. :023:
  5. Defintely got to be Granty. Continuity is very important in any team and to change the captaincy at this stage is pretty pointless.
  6. Now, this would be quite a signing for ICT if it went through. Let's hope we've been first on the scene and no other (bigger) clubs step in and nick him from under our nose. :024:
  7. A Championship side might be a better bet for Marius. The Burnley game on 2 August could be a good shop window for prospective buyers who might have the odd ?500,000 + to splash out. :024:
  8. Aye, bad luck for the Hibees. Might have been a different result had the SPL season been under way and the players a bit sharper. Still, they are professionals. :007:
  9. I'll be up for this - definitely. Not as far from the Borders as from Sneck. Could be quite a good pre-season game. :021:
  10. I must confess to having watched quite a few games from the roof of the warehouse of the Glen Mhor distillery in my time and more than once got a ticking off from one of the Caley committee when I decided to go legit and pay my way into Telford Street ! Shame on me but I did have a cracking view. :018:
  11. Well done Andy. Onwards and upwards - anything is possible. Tennis at Bellfield Park, usually inspired by Wimbledon but in my day it was Rod Laver, Stan Smith, John Newcombe who were the big names in mens' tennis. Ah, the memories.............. :021: :021: :021: :021: :021: :021: :021:
  12. Let's hope he can deliver the goods for us. Wish him all the best and let's put this will he, won't he signing saga behind us and move on. :021:
  13. I sure do remember Olga - she was a Locarno stalwart, as was Jean. Whatever happened to Olga ? Anyone know ? :024:
  14. Fascinating photo Charles. It's definitely Renzo in the photo - he was a very good friend of my dad and I knew him well too. A real character and loved his football.
  15. Seems to me that Barrowman and his agent have outmanoeuvred ICT at every turn in this saga. :029:
