Aye, looking at the top of the Division 1 table gives you a warm and satisfying feeling. :004:
  2. Aye... that was some smell in the Howden End in these days! :004: If the powers that be at The Dump ever get round to thinking about marketing, what a great name for the refreshment counter - "The Howden End".
  3. It's not an easy job and if nobody else wants to do it and it's foisted on you then that's worse. He did not bad yesterday I thought and was up to speed with the ICT and Raith scorers. Music was a no-no. We need some rock to get the fans going pre-match and at half-time. How about some AC/DC, Deep Purple, Motorhead or ZZ Top ?
  4. We could learn a great deal from Killie in the pies department. Theirs are legendary throughout football, and always hot too ! Very hot !!!
  5. All too often forgotten on the subject are the serious public health aspects of serving up badly heated, reheated and half defrosted pies to the fans. They better watch out in case the local food hygiene people get wind of this sort of thing going on.

Just take it one game at a time. Never count your chickens until they're hatched.

Aye, the smiling lady steward was such a change and a refreshing one too. I am smitten ! :thumb02:
  8. It's not rocket science to get this sort of thing right. If fans are left feeling they've been ripped off and are being given a sub-standard product then it reflects badly on the club. When it comes to customer service and customer satisfaction, Scottish football clubs are in the dark ages.
  9. Aye, they dug deep for that fourth goal yesterday. The team's reaction when they scored that goal (e.g. Roscoe kicking over the advertising hoarding) showed just how important it was for them.
  10. Got mine at the shop when I was up for the game yesterday.
  11. Surely he's got more than Rod Stewart in his CD collection ?
  12. What a game and what a result for us. A game that will go down in ICT legend. That goal by Richie was just amazing - I'd like to see a Brazilian bettering that. All I can say is that I'm right glad I made the journey north to see that. To say well done to the boys, Terry and Maurice just doesn't seem anything like adequate after yesterday. Just awesome. :) :D :021: :022: :025: :biggrin01:
  13. Me - A9 permitting.
  14. Chic is an absolute prat but that comment was just brilliant. An outstanding contribution in fact ! :P :021:
  15. Absolutely not ! As another poster has very perceptively observed - you're never alone in Section G ! :021:
  16. Really delighted with last night's result. A great performance by the team on the field and the management team off it. Very well done to all ! :021:
  17. A vital game for us and them - 5,600 is my guess.
  18. Fantastic result for us - very well done the boys, Terry and Maurice. The County v Dundee result was just ideal. Tuesday is going to be a huge game for our title aspirations - let's hope the ICT fans fill The Dump and get right behind the team for this one. :021: :021: :021: :D :D
  19. Jocky Scott ? He'd be cheap.
  20. If County knock Celtic out of the Cup Mowbray will be finished. That result tonight was fantastic for St Mirren and good on them.
  21. Aye, great result for us and well done the County too. :)
  22. I'll certainly be watching on Tuesday night now. Hopefully the effects mics will pick up some witty remarks from the QoS fans !
  23. The crazy world of Dundee football just got crazier.
  24. BBC Radio Scotland were saying this morning that Ian McCall and Gordon Chisholm were in the frame to replace Jocky at Dens.
  25. How about Csaba Laszlo for the job ?
