If you are going to go by that article Hart's position looks shaky as well. I'd like to see MacDonald at least be given a chance, if he's not up to it fair enough
  2. At least Parkie wasn't out of work very long New Assitant Manager at Raith Rovers :clapping03:
  3. I don't want to take anything away from what was a fantastic result for the team and manager but I can't help wondering if we would have played the same formation if Wyness had been fit? :024: Not that it matters now of course. 3 points = a good day at the office :021:
  4. GREAT result. :021: Didn't expect it but it's the 3 points that matter. Well done Brew & the lads :clapping03:
  5. According to the article in today's Courier...... LINK Park was all for leaving when CC resigned but Bennett persuaded him to say. It goes on to say Park is leaving the club at 'a good time' whatever that means. Apparently he hasn't seen his family for 2 years :024:

I think any points we get from the next 4 games will have been well earned
  7. It doesn't make much sense to move on 2 of our best, young players especially when you consider that 2 of our starting midfielders on Saturday were 33 & 35!! :rolleyes02:
  8. Good shout Alex :022: If only!!! The last thing we need is for Brewster to get appointed a "yes" man like Thomson. That's part of the reason I liked Parkie being assistant as he wouldn't just do what Brewster said. I wonder if Barry Wilson might be given the job :024:
  9. I agree it was a great result Johnboy but holding on by the skin of our teeth against 10 men at home is far from a superb victory Nevertheless 3 points :022:
  10. We have played much better than that and lost so maybe today's result should be taken in context :024: We definitely rode our luck and if the shoe were on the other foot we would have been gutted to lose The ways things have been going of late 3 points is a nice early Xmas pressie :clapping03:
  11. Winning the 3 points is the main thing :021: Not quite sure how we managed to hold on to the lead to be honest and we certainly rode our luck in the second half but there you go. Job done and some much needed breathing space between us and Gretna Was this the commentators? What were they saying? I thought he played pretty well today.
  12. Is there not a clause that County will get a percentage of any transfer fee?
  13. Rankin showed more in a few months of last season than Morgan has done in his entire ICT career. WynessLegend - Perhaps you should ask Ross County supporters about that He was taken off at half time in the biggest game in their history as he was so poor
  14. Why? Who do you think we have that is better? He is a central midfielder who played out of position for the good of the team last season and won us 2 games with his goals
  15. Plus our no 1 signing target is McGuire who we can sign on a Bosman
  16. From what I've heard Rankin is the consummate professional to for people to question his attitude is way off the mark. I think it's perfectly understandable that he'd be unhappy wouldn't you knowing that no matter how well you played in the reserves or hard you trained the manager wasn't going to give you a game. adding insult to injury is the fact that some the people keeping you out of the team are inferior players. We will be lucky to get half the money we paid for Rankin so not only are we losing a very good young player we will be taking a financial hit. If we need to raise money for a central defender there are many other players who should be shown the door before JR
  17. You may well be right RiG and it's pretty depressing thought really :007: Who wants to pay money to see kick and chase robots?? If he doesn't rate Rankin then I'm afraid Zander won't be back either. This decision makes no footballing sense :029: Today I'm truly regretting buying a season ticket

Is this to whip up into shape for the 1st Division next season? :024: This might have been a revolutionary idea a few years ago but all the other clubs have now cottoned on to how well we did and there players are just as fit now. It appears Brewster just wants athletes who can chase the long ball all day and any player with a bit of flair/creativity won't fit into his plans :018:
  19. It would be interesting to hear what the pro-Brewster lobby think of him now? I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt upon his return but the last few weeks have eroded any support I could muster. Letting Rankin go is just plain stupid :008:
  20. This is truly an unbelievable decision. It's sheer stupidity baffles me :crazy07: I doubt anyone on here thinks this is a good idea. So why does our manager? Brewster doesn't have a clue if he rates the likes of McBain, Morgan and a veteran Wilson ahead of Rankin :008: Still at least it may hasten our clueless leaders departure. It's times like these you wonder why you bother supporting the club
  21. Craig Samson has been called up :rotflmao:
  22. kencar replied to Ivy League's topic in Caley Thistle
Worrying story LINK What's Brewster playing at? I think it would be a huge mistake to let Rankin go
  23. 3 game ban as well
  24. kencar replied to Bronson's topic in Caley Thistle
Said in the paper Brewster isn't seeing specialist till 22nd so I doubt he would be available for St Mirren game. He should get his shouler sorted now and if we are still in a relegation dog fight come March/April he'd then offer us another striking option
  25. Wood is a striker so that's 1 off the list for a start. In all likelihood Wilson is in his last season so that's 10. Morgan's contract expires in January has he done enough to be offered a new one? Hart & Paatelainen contract's expire at the end of the season so the same question would apply
