- whats the crack with rankin?
Isn't the reason Rankin wants to leave not the fact Brewster told him he was surplus to requirements a few months ago? He was encouraging him to go on loan as he didn't think he would get a game with us. Now Brewster seems to have had a change of heart after actually see Rankin play in the side which may unfortunately be too late as the player has decided to seek pastures new and find a manager who has faith in him. Think Brew has shot himself in the foot :029: Here's hoping he stays anyway. We shouldn't be selling our best players if we don't have too- Hutton off to Spurs?
If this is true the gers should take the money and run!! LINK- mcallister out on loan
I went through to the County Vs Peterhead game today and I think it's fair to say Rory did nothing to suggest he is an SPL striker & an Under 21 international. Lots of huffing and puffing with no end product. He seemed to spend most of his time sitting on the pitch after getting eased off the ball. Of course this was his 1st game with his new team mates so perhaps it's a bit harsh to judge him on 1 run out. It was funny to hear the County fans moaning and grumbling at missed chances when they were already 5-1 up- Aberdeen -V- ICT : matchday thread
Just heard Brewster on the radio saying it was a terrific performance and we were superb! Seems to be in contrast to the comments made by the folk who were at the game :024:- whats the crack with rankin?
In paper today that a ?40K bid from St Mirren is imminent and the player now wants to leave :029: It would seem Brewster got this one very wrong :rolleyes02:- ICT -V- Kilmarnock : matchday thread
I thought it was Munro but there you go, apologies to Grant. One day I will see an ICT keeper save a penalty :015:- ICT -V- Kilmarnock : matchday thread
Another good result and we played some lovely attacking football when we kept it on the deck. I was a bit surprised to see Bayne starting up front with Niculae dropping a bit deeper but it worked out very well. McBain wasn't missed at all in fact I think we looked a much better team without him on the pitch Some good saves from both keepers kept the scoreline down but we were well worth the win. Niculae & Black were the real standouts for us I felt. Not quite sure why Fraser was the sponsors MOTM though :024: How many penalties have we and in particular Grant Munro conceded this season? I think that was the only downside of today though. a job well done :003: Finally we've beaten Killie at home here's hoping that elusive win against Aberdeen is the next hoodoo to be broken :021:- County Coin It In
I see County have sold another youth player to Liverpool for over ?100,000. Like it or not there youth system seems to be light years ahead of ours :rolleyes02:- The Brewster Effect...
They do struggle against players good in the air though, JVH, Nish, Berra today, etc- Hearts -V- ICT : Matchday thread
It was Munro who gave away the penalty not McGuire - I think. Setanta's camera from the moon isn't the best :029:- Will you now admit...
5 GREAT results although we got a bit lucky in 1 if not 2 of those. Prior to that we were easily beaten in 3 games. I do think some people are getting a bit carried away here though. I wasn't for Brewster returning but I will be absolutely feckin delighted if I am wrong. All that matters is the team. To use an old football cliche let's just take it 1 game at a time. Away to a very in form Falkirk will be a difficult game. Here's hoping Santa has more in his sack for ICT :003:- Hearts -V- ICT : Matchday thread
WOO HOO!!! :021:- Collins Resigns
It'll be interesting to see what happens with the latest spin of the SPL manager merry-go-round!!- Deano's Away
Never given the opportunity to show us what he can do and I wish him well. Fair play to the guy as well for being brave enough to move up here when other players have quaked at the prospect being so far north!! Will Hart and Caff be following him out the door next month?- No Deal for Morgan
In paper today that he will be joining Kilmarnock in January- Out of contract players
I think Hart, Wilson, Markus P and maybe McCaffrey deals run out in the summer. Not sure about the younger lads who were promoted to the first team this season- Michael Frasers save
Brown made a really good save in the first half from Niculae but Fraser's was even better. Need to see it again 'cos I still don't know how he mamaged it well done that man :clapping03:- Black's behaviour
McGeady kicked Black. It was blatant. Then he had the audacity to mouth off to the ref after squaring up to Black- ICT V Celtic : Matchday Thread
WOO HOO :021: My faces hurts from smiling so much :001: What a SUPERB result!! :clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: We played some glorious football at times and thoroughly deserved the 3 points!! I though Rankin was immense today and was MoTM although Black ran him close. Can someone explain why wasn't Pressley sent off and Proctor was? Both last man. Did Pressley even get booked? It was great to walk past all those devastated Celtic fans after the game as well. They looked dazed and confused. Hilarious Got back to the car only to hear Strachan's whinging :020: Glad the rest of the pundits shot his comments down- ICT -V- Hibernian : Matchday Thread
I think this sums up the Caley forum. Third win in a row, third clean sheet in a row (against a good Hibs side). And still posters find time to criticise. This was a good, well managed, team performance. Sorry if that's not what you're looking for. If you had bothered to read any of my previous posts you would have seen both praise for both the team and the manager. I was a posting a personel opinion of one player. Many of you might not agree with my view of said player and that's fine. Just get the facts right. iIm sure you were all for booing Fraser a few weeks ago WynessLegend- ICT -V- Hibernian : Matchday Thread
Roy had a good first half but I though he faded in the second - the commentators seemed to think he'd picked up a knock, though he was fizzing at being hooked. Ah the enigma that is Roy McBain :024: Just can't see what, if anything, he offers the team. He was by far and away the least effective ICT player today quite ably combining new found chameleon skills with his usual invisibility powers :tic01: Some folk on here really seem to rate him - I just want to know why?- ICT -V- Hibernian : Matchday Thread
We totally deserved to win today especially with such a strong first half performance :021: Some great individual displays from Niculae, Rankin, Black, McGuire & Fraser. We were very lucky not to lose McGuire and concede a penalty in the 2nd half but the officials were so incompetent they missed pretty much everything today. Well done to Brew and the team. :clapping03: Now I just have to decide who to give the PoY points - not an easy choice today :003:- ICT v Hibernian- PREVIEW
Rankin started against Rangers so last weekend wasn't his first start of the season. Anyway that's ancient history. Hopefully today will be all about Hibs missing Jones more than we miss Wyness. I think the giant juggernaut is an integral part of the Hibs defence so fingers crossed he won't play. I feel we can cope better without Wyness than Hibs can cope without him!!- Welcome Back?
Why the feck should we be cheering the Celtic reserve keeper? He got his round of applause for past services on January 28 2007 on his previous 'last' visit. Another undeserved & VERY luck last minute victory against us :018: - whats the crack with rankin?
