  1. Black ISN'T suspended for this game
  2. He got 9 yellow cards in the league last season which going by the rule quoted earlier would mean a further 1 game ban
  3. St Mirren & Aberdeen
  4. I read that Ian Black is likely to be suspended for 2 games after the Falkirk match meaning he'll miss both the St Mirren & Aberdeen games. I was under the impression that he'd only miss the 1 game!! Anyone know how the penalty points system works? Do you get more points for say a booking for dissent that you do for persistent fouling??

ICT for me :003: Nice to see Scotland win now and again though
  6. Can't see Saturday's FANTASTIC result making any difference to the crowd size on Saturday :007: The attendance seems to have levelled off around the 3500 mark for the less glamorous ties. I can see the Falkirk game being a really tight affair and here's hoping we can manage 2 home wins in a row :006:
  7. Actually they got a 3 minute slot on Your Call when Jim spoke to the management guru that is Brian Irvine. For the first and possibily only time in his broadcasting career Mr Irvine came over as quite articulate and amusing. Doubt it will happen again
  8. 'Your Call' should make interesting listening tonight - although the team probably won't get the credit they truly deserve
  9. WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :clapping04: :clapping04: :clapping04: :clapping04: :clapping04: WELL DONE EVERYBODY YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
  10. Keogh is suspended so his place on the bench is up for grabs
  11. Rather a lot of players whose contracts expire at the end of the season :006: You'd hope the vast majority would resign though.
  12. Not sure why it would go into the rumour mill section as the source was Graeme Bennet on the ICT pages on Teletext. I thought Bayne had signed a new 2 year deal recently anyway
  13. Not very impressed that BBC SCOTLAND is showing the England game :008:
  14. Teletext says Liam Keogh, Grant Munro, Rory McAllister, Roy McBain & Graham Bayne are to be offered new contracts before the January transfer window opens. No mention of Dargo & Brown although you'd hope negotiations are ongoing

Think Alex means Derek Riordan :016: It'll never happen.
  16. I'm sure there was 5 minutes of decent football diluted into the 90+ minutes the game lasted for......hence the term 'highlights' :016:
  17. They said something about the record being losing 12 in a row on Radio Scotland on Saturday by none other than Manchester United!! :010:
  18. I admire your optimism as I didn't think we were ever going to score on Saturday :006: Still we did and we got a very valuable 3 points. I don't know how anyone could enjoy a game like that though, unless you have nerves of steel. I'd much prefer to see us 3-0 up by half-time - then I could enjoy the rest of the game :004:
  19. CC seems to think we have been playing well without geting results!! Playing Well? Should a win paper over the cracks?? It was another very tepid home permormance :006:

Have to agree Zander did REALLY really well when he came on. His 15 minute cameo achieved much more than Harts ineffective preformance
  21. The whole midfield setup today was baffling. 3 players playing out with there best position. Hart wide left. Mcbain inside him and Rankin to the right of him. It was a lucky 3 points for us today as we played really badly again. The only thing worse was some of the comments from the home support. From my seat all I heard throughout the match was abuse raised at Hastings for no apparent reason and unsavoury abuse of 1 of the Dunfermline players. I have to say that that the save made by the Dunfermline keeper to keep Bayne's effort out was truly exceptional :clapping04:

He made the chance himself out of nothing so to give him a hard time is more than a bit harsh
  23. It must be only me that thinks that strong local teams would be a benefit for our team. Ok it's nice to gloat that our former rivals are now down in the doldrums but surely a stronger presence in the leagues would be of beneit to all concerned. Of late we have failed to attract players beacuse or our location. Maybe if NE teams were doing better in the leagues this wouldn't be so much of an issue. We've taken enough players from County, maybe if Elgin wre doing better we could pinch a few prospects from them?

Caley100 I have to say you are talking p**h Hastings gets far too much undeserved flack because he 'dared' to leave us for better things a few years back. He has been one of our most consistent if unrecognised performers over the last 18 months. More often than not he bombs up the left wing time after time only to be ignored for a pass inside or backwards, yet the next oppurtunity he'll make the run again. Of course if Golly had maintained his form Hastings would have remained on the sidelines but since he got his new 3 year deal he has been gash
  25. I agree it will be a tough game but we should be winning these sorts of matches
