  1. Tokely has not been at his best this season in fact he has caused several goals being scored against us this season. Is Proctor back to full fitness soon because Tokely could do with with being dropped for a few games to show him he needs to sort it out. I don't know whether it is he has just been found out and managers know how to frustrate him now or personally I think since his testimonial season he has looked a different player to the one we used to have. I do seem to remember him getting a dodgy injury that season though. Also dare I say it maybe he has just gone stale at the club. He is though on his day a brilliant player for us so I hope that is not true.
  2. Cheers Bob! Entered for a bit of fun but that is some prize for the top 3 people. It's much appreciated!
  3. That was the same article and more that I was trying to find! Cheers CaleyD! And from a far more reliable source!
  4. This paper I have never read in my life at all till yesterday. The Daily Star (it was all that was left with a Daily Record) had a small snippet with Black quoting he would like a new deal but it was up to him to earn one first. How reliable it is I don't know. Tried to get a link but it's all English stuff on the website.
  5. Stranraer at 2.62 please! Tricky bunch to choose from this week!
  6. I think the company that got the contract Ness Bet went out of business at least the shop in Merkinch has shut down anyway! I would think a new bookies would get to take up something at the stadium surely who knows though!
  7. Does anyone know what our starting line up was or who is playing now? Can only find the Burnley line up which looks like a decent team to me. Never heard of the goalkeeper before though. Diego penny Graham Alexander Micheal Duff Steven Caldwell Christian kalvenes Wade Elliott Chris MCcann Remco Van Der Schaaf Robbie Blake Chris Eagles Martin Paterson
  8. Yeah 2-0 now Chris Eagles scoring. Apparently they had a bit of trouble in there were more fans turned up for the game than tickets that had been printed so a lot of Burnley fans never got in or left before anything was sorted out. It was not a sell out or anything like that just not enough tickets were made for the game. I think a few big signings were made in the last week and the interest encouraged more fans to come than the club envisaged.
  9. I apologise for being overly defensive Rig! I am glad you agree with me that some people may be unaware of why Imrie will be singled out when we play them I will try and make sure all my facts are correct next time before posting! :003:
  10. You are correct sorry I must be getting him mixed up with somebody else with the dying on the pitch twice bit. He did however require CPR and from the BBC site: Avril John, who is part of the medical team at Hamilton, said the team acted quickly after McCabe went down under a heavy tackle. "Ross received a blow to his neck and to the chest," John told BBC Five Live. "He went down and became unresponsive. "We had to do a manual CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). You don't really pay any attention to the crowd in those situations, you switch off and focus on what you are doing." As for the reason he retired I openly admitted that I did not know if the heart defect was related or not so don't really know what you are getting at there! The point of the topic in the first place was to give Imrie support albeit we do not play Hamilton for a few weeks yet. Also seeing as you did pay so much attention to the P&B stuff you would have read that I did not know all the facts so it gives people on this board like yourself RIG to inform me better. I really don't know why you have to always attack people the way you do on this board. At least when I spoke to Accies1 he was not sarcastic and seemed to encourage debate wheras you just attack with sarcastic and provocative comments. Says it all about you really!
  11. Dunno if all of you remember but we will have Hamilton fans booing Dougie Imrie every chance they get like the St Mirren fans and Ross Tokely. Though it is not the actual challenge they are bothered about apparently. It is the fact that Imrie is alleged to have laughed as soon as he stood up from the challenge. The player involved in the challenge had his career ended after dying on the pitch twice with a punctured windpipe, although doctors found him to have a heart problem I don't know if that was seperate from the incident or not though. I cannot make a judgement on the challenge or what happened afterwards as I have never seen it. From what I have seen of Imrie he does not seem like a malicious player though and I am going to stick with that. He has done really well since coming to us and I think this season given the chance he will improve furthermore. It must feel terrible knowing that even if it was an accident you have contributed in somebody having to end their career but that goes to show the strength he possesses being able to push on the way he has. SO IMRIE IF YOU READ THIS KNOW THAT WHEN THE HAMILTON GAME COMES WE WILL BACK YOU 100% AGAINST ANY ABUSE YOU RECIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Bennett said in Press and Journal that although we will have all this money Marius is entitled to a slice of the transfer fee and that there is no point in the board giving Brewster ?150,000 for a player due to their wages being too high most probably. http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/757085
  13. http://www.fcdinamo.ro/arhiva.php?arhiva=s...&stire=6227 Don't have a clue what it says but there are pics of Niculae signing the contract. He looks pretty happy signing for Dinamo so fair play to him. Was hoping we would keep him but he came here to get into the Romania team again and he was totally honest about why he came here from the beginning so I'm happy that things are going well for him. Cheers Marius and good luck with your new club!
  14. Aye it was pretty decent with only 6 of us! It got me knackered anyway!
  15. Cheers! It should be good see you later on!
  16. Hey! There's 3 of us back in Inverness for the summer wondering if we could head on down and join in tommorow night?
  17. Commercially with things such as merchandise and ticket prices etc I do think we are behind in terms of other SPL clubs but footballing wise we have not gone backwards. The end is coming to a huge group of players that have helped take this club to where it is now. However now we are rebuilding what looks like it has the POTENTIAL to be a very good side. I think that supporting the club and being patient is what we need to do. I do agree with something being done with ticket prices and catering around the stadium. Football just is not affordable like it used to be especially for people with families etc.
  18. Thanks, That would make sense if they aren't getting paid. Barcelona have blocked Ronaldinho from attending due to it being outside of Fifa regulations so they can't be punished. I wonder if other teams will follow suit.
  19. Hey, Could somebody explain to me why Olympic Football squads are allowed to have professional players in their teams? I thought that the Olympics were for amateur sportspersons. Brazil and other nations have been naming a few well known professional players in their teams. I've never really thought about what track and field athletes do to support themselves in their lives when they are training etc either come to think of it or if sponsorship and grants cover them.
  20. Calum Elliot has expressed he would like to work with Brewster given the opportunity and depending on what happens at Hearts as he wants out thats according to the P&J. Says until the new manager comes in he can't do anything. I say give him a chance here if we have the opportunity and let the board and manager get on with their jobs and see what they come up with before the transfer window shuts. I know the link was posted above but Calum Elliot's dancing is hilarious my jambo mate showed me this a while back:
  21. Both just as badly! Can we add Aberdeen to the list aswell?
  22. Martin Bavidge. But then it was his choice to remain a part-time player so he could study aswell. Neil MacDonald the guy who scored the goal that kept us in the first division the season we finished below County. Always thought we should never have let him go.
  23. Watch the first and fourth goals for us and you will see Craig Brewster exactly why we should keep Dennis Wyness. 2 typical Wyness goals aswell! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=UqIqUymk6fk
  24. It's fair to say that Wyness isn't having the best season but he has been injured for a lot of the campaign and Brewster's tactical "genius" never sees him playing where he should be playing a lot of the time. Brewster has the worst tactical knowledge for a professional coach I have ever seen! I'm outraged by what has happened. I also don't think there was a sympathy vote as mentioned above he's stating it as it is, he needs to sort his future out soon because of his family to give them stability and that's understanable. I think he still has the attributes to do a great job with us but Brewster seems to be on a mission to remove any legendry players from the squad bar Tokely!
