SPL Planning
Every player in our starting 11 is good enough for the SPL.

Post-Match Thread : ICT -V- Dundee
Hayes didn't look at all disappointed, and neither he or Roscoe threw their shirts into the crowd. But Johnny did lose his shorts when signing autographs.... Think Roscoe was just delighted to be back in the SPL especially after being sent off against Falkirk. Cracking to see him psyched with the cup. Pish game, but 9 in a row and 22 unbeaten aint bad going. Every player looked delighted at the end of the game, Rooney winning both the player of the year awards as well.

Ayr Utd -V- ICT : Post-Match Thread
It was far too easy. Ayr are going down, bit of a pity, by far my favourite stadium from the 1st division tour, really old school.

Days out
Close between the game away to the pars and yesterday. Beating Aberdeen for the first time was also cracking.

Raith Rovers v Dundee Matchday Thread
Ayr 1-3 Airdrie Utd?! Ayr will be fired up for Saturday's game. Dundee will grind out a draw in this one.

Guinness book of records
Hope we continue the trend. Bit off-topic, but Dundee could set a record (mebbe) tomorrow night; Soutar, Bullock and Douglas are injured, so they have to play their 49 year old coach Rab Geddes. Ha.

Where could I see the highlights of games?
Cracking highlights again. Great to see a full north stand again. Just to say that there are QOS highlights on Youtube, part 2 shows the reaction at the end of the game by the players/management.

Most improved player over the season ?
Eh? Rooney all the way. He was a good player at the start of the season, but now he's the best in the division. Hayes wasn't given too much of a chance at the start of the season, but when he played in the CIS Cup games he did well enough. Cox does push Rooney for the title of most improved, but he had a big drop in form mid-season. He's been superb in the last couple of months.

Ayr Roll Call
Yep. Proper terracing again.

What positions do we need to look at now?
Let me tell you I'd be delighted if Roscoe stayed. I'd always believed he'd eventually run himself into the ground for the club, finishing just short of 1000 appearances.

What positions do we need to look at now?
Well if rumours are to be believed the move to Australia is off. Hoping he can stay, we'll know in the next couple of weeks if he is. It'd be bizarre not seeing him in defence.

What positions do we need to look at now?
Where is this? I found an interview in the Daily Record but couldn't see anything like that. Taken from the BBC: However, despite his iconic status at the club, Tokely is facing an uncertain future, with his contract due to expire at the season's end. "I'm out of contract at the end of the season so everything's a bit up in the air," said the right-back. "The gaffer's out of contract as well and no-one's mentioned a word, but I'm just here to play games and help the guys get a win." There were bits and pieces earlier in the season. Apparently he did have an offer in Australia, and Pele himself did allude to the fact that Roscoe is nearing the end of his career, and a money-spinning move elsewhere could be on the cards. Hope not though. The man represents ICT.

Congratulations to the ICT team
Back to the good old days. The big-spending skanks and arrogant central-belters just can't stand that no amount of money will win them success. Cheers Terry and Mo.

What positions do we need to look at now?
Mihadjuks back as cover (mebbe first team player if Roscoe decides to stay, but from his reaction today and the way he has been talking I think he could be away). I'd be DELIGHTED if we managed to keep together that squad. Fingers crossed Butcher works his magic on them.

Post-Match Thread : ICT -V- Dunfermline
Cracking second-half performance, summed up our season. Terrific up front, Rooney is a revelation, and Esson pulling off a couple of stunning saves to keep us in front. Delighted that we didn't win it today, I'm already looking forward to Ayr away and enjoying the entire match with no worries. 1000+ away fans belting out the songs for 90 minutes, much better than sitting and waiting for the Dundee/County result to come through. MOTM - Difficult, Rooney is the most improved player I have ever seen in my life. Shuperb, could have had a hat-trick and did his best to set up Sanchez for a hat-trick too. Foran is a LEGEND, the man has been an inspiration recently. McBain was excellent, I've always liked his style; socks rolled down, running at players. Rooney wins it, a fantastic goal, he enjoys every second he spends on that pitch and celebrates every goal with the fans.

1st Div P.O.Y.
Jonny Hayes or Rooney for me. Foran has been superb recently, but hasn't been as good throughout the season.
-
Cup or the League?
Division 1 champions, just to get it right up Chick Young and Billy Dodds, and prove everyone wrong again. Wonder if there will be any more hat-eating?
-
So which result is bigger?
There's no comparing; we beat a Celtic team filled with genuine class players, and then a team who had beaten Liverpool a few days earlier; County beat a team who a few weeks earlier had been beaten 4-0 by St Mirren, and their big sub to change the match was Paddy McCourt.

Scottish Cup Final (merged)
I was in the Gretna end when they were relegated, it's just a case of being able to take it if you give it out. I'd expected County fans to celebrate us getting relegated, it's the way it should be. Rivalry, but no bigotry involved.

QOS -V- ICT : Post-Match Thread
We are halfway to the title. Massive win, proof that even if it does go down to the final game, which it won't, then we have the bottle to pull through.
-
Scottish Cup Final (merged)
I'd never support County, but it's always good to see some unhappy weegies. I'm extremely jealous of County, the fact they will play in a Scottish Cup Final before us grates, as does the probability of them being in Europe. But then we'll be back in the SPL, and we can over-write any history County have made.

Dunfermline home league title?
My prediction is that we'll win the title (if all goes to plan) in between Dunfermline and Ayr. We'll beat the Pars, and County + Dundee will lose away to Queens/Raith in midweek, handing us the title. One celebratory away day, and then unfurling the flag at home to Dundee. Or we lose to QOS, and it all goes downhill.....

Morton -V- ICT : matchnight thread
Looks like this Saturday will be the defining game of our season. If we win, the next 2 games after are 6 points. Dundee can/will drop points away to Partick, and County have to play away to Morton three days after getting mauled by Celtic. Dundee and Ross County play Morton away and Airdrie away respectively the week after while we have home to the Pars with Munro and Cox missing.

Morton -V- ICT : matchnight thread
Even better. Possibly both teams out of it, but I won't write off County until it's mathematically impossible for them to catch us.
