  1. Bulvitis and Duff's loan spells have now expired i think. Anyone heard at all if we are any closer to getting them renewed?
  2. Eagle and Stratford haven't worked out at all. Barrowman is a massive waste of space and WILL probably go. Roy McBain will probably never play for us again. It would'nt suprise me if Butcher is trying to force put Duncan as well as he has tryed to play 3 players ahead of him. First was Kerr, then Stratford and now Stuart Duff. Get the feeling TB dosent rate him much. Anyhoo the first four mentioned above all going could trim the squad sufficently.
  3. Rather annoying as Monday is usually a busy night for me. This dosen't help much unless it turns out to be worth going too.

    Transfers?

Middlesbrough have apparently agreed a fee with Celtic for Flood so i don't think he will be heading to Dens. He's too good for them anyway.
  5. Is Gollie fit again? If not we have Shinnie as well who i would like to see more of.
  6. Hoping we get Falkirk, revenge is in my mind.
  7. Premier League club with players participating in the African cup of nations demanding their players to be sent home. No suprise.
  8. Here here - I second that emotion. I was not overly keen on Butchers appointment as you can acertain from previous posts. However I honestly do believe if anyone can get us back to the land of milk and honey it is him. So for me I wish to forget about potential new appointments and continue with the status quo. I totally agree. It isn't fair on Butch who i think is doing the best job he can do. Especially given what little resources we have to give him. I did'nt expect us to win the league but i at least wanted us to play well enough to get results in most games and after the usual slow start to our season we now appear to be doing that, though the draws could turn into wins.
  9. Doubt if we could afford him. He is affordable, it's the expenses of the scouts he sends to Fiji that will break the bank. And his first signings would be Kevin Muscat and Craig Moore which would plunge us into debt with there wages...but i'm still routing for Renegade. ;)
  10. Renegade.
  11. An unforgettable time in which we boosted our status, caused some major problems for big teams that rocked the footballing world, that all ended about 3 years ago. Now it is all rather dismal. We don't really appear to be going anywhere, we are losing money by paying players we should never have and our rivals are better than us. Therefore i'd say about 3 quarters of the decade has been enjoyable.
  12. The Driver was shot dead according to the TV news. Very sad and pritty sick.

Which was followed up by a free kick against Celtic which went out for a throw in. I have not forgotten that at all. He was never going to score from that angle and it was a perfect example of how good he thinks he is as opposed to how good he actually is...and after his Hearts goal i knew he would shoot.
  14. Zemmama, James McCarthur, Chamakh from Bordeaux ( no fee involved on a pre contract :tonguecheek: )

    Transfers?

    Andrea Dossena, Liverpool to Napoli.
  16. While i do dislike to old firm quite a bit i do have alot of time for Walter and McCoist. Like you say what there doing shows there commitment and love for the club and with what very little resources they have they are doing a good job. Something we are in desprate need of from both the dugout and the boardroom.
  17. I'm not denying that the cub is very tight financially but if we were as bad as some people are portraying then Bulvitis and Duff would not be staying and TB would not be coming out talking of signing new players. Unless they are trying to pull the wool over TB's eyes too, mind you i wouldn't have the guts to tell him he was out of the job.
  18. And what hooded, shadow-hidden figure revealed this to you Renegade?

Dont really care. He is decent enough but he is'nt on my list of indispensables.
  20. My Dad had got a copy of one. Think he was down at the ground during the week. They had gone to print before we played Dundee so they were a good few days before the game,
  21. [quote name='iamthecaptain1' date='Jan 5 2010, 05:40 PM' post='234747' Sadly it might not be too good for teams like ICT as Dundee would have big bucks to spend and Rooney would be a likely candidate to replace the aformentioneds goals Funny i was thinking that as i was skimming these posts. They would be the sort to cherry pick Rooney of us should they lose Griffiths, though i would strongly recommend Barrowman to them.
  22. I also have to say that I did a shopping in Asda whilst passing through Elgin before Christmas and was reasonably impressed. Then there's Lidl and Aldi. A bit basic perhaps but some very good bargains. The ambience of the shop is a big factor for me though, and there was nothing to beat Safeways in that respect although Morrisons have gone some way towards compensating for its loss. I used especially to like shopping in Safeways Rose Street and the cafe was excellent there, as was the case with Safeway Millburn Road. Morrison's cafes are not as good as the old Safeway ones, but Tesco Inshes has deteriorated so much that it now makes Morrisons look good. In days gone by Tesco Inshes used to be good for a quick tea after a home game in advance of going down to the Social Club but it seems they now can't be bothered openiong that late so I have to do with a swift Morrisons ready meal at home. You will have followed that supermarket cafes are important to me Your not wrong Charles. I used to love going into Rose Street cafe and get a Bun and a hot chocolate with a good newspaper to read. The Tesco cafes used to be ok but as you say they have deteriorated quite badly. The final straw to was when i was given a meal i didnt order and the foreign fellow behind the till had the cheek to get on at me for returning it. In terms of what you can buy i thinks its a case of quantity vs quality and it is easy to guess which i think serves quality.
  23. Morrisons to better Jam doughnuts than Tescos, theres no contest. Morrisons for me.
  24. They had, i have a copy at home.
  25. Me + 4 and the shovel if required.
