It is something that i would be open to see. At least if it did we would know that the right decisons will be made each time. But there are so many things that involve decisions in football. Over the line? Offside? Foul or not? Use of the arm or not? So many things can happen in amongst a contriversial goal or decision. I would wonder how they could find a way to accomidate it all.
  2. Kris Commons is very much a left footed player. Saw him take a beast of a free kick on his left foot against Blackpool on Sky Sports. He will prove to be a real find i think. He is attracting intrest from the likes of Tottenham and Wigan if i remember reading correctly. The strike force is pritty poor though to say the least, apart from Miller and may'be Fletcher the rest of them are not up to national standard. McCormack would be but he is not fully fit. Same at the back, Kirk Broadfoot and Darren Barr??? Why not just put Lee Wilkie back in to even things up. Agreed with Chibber, not impressed.
  3. Craig Nelson for St Johnstone when we went up, everything was hs fault hahaha Dorus de Vries, Dunfermline's relegation Zibi Malkowski made some hashes for and aganst, like kicking it straight at Dargo. Jamie Langfield. dropped the ball after clashing with Richie Byrne for Barry to score. Lionel Letizi and Allan McGregor on occasions. Mark Brown helped us win 3-2 last season. That Hearts keeper Kurskis got red carded for grabbing Duncan last season. And of course......Alan Combe.
  4. Either Rosscoe or Esson was MOM for me. Tokers was solid at the back all day and those tackles were vital, while Esson's handling was top notch throughout the game.

Jackson is yet to score this season and Dobbie still carries a bit oo much beef for the SPL. If i was to take anyone from the Lower leagues i would take Leigh Griffiths at Livingston, he looks a very bright prospect.

Thought overall he was reasonably comfortable yesterday. Hacked at one of his clearences rather poorly but apart from that his defending and his wonderful, miscontrolled footwork were good.

Hows about... He was once a hun, then he beat them by one. Not the best but i had to think it up quickly

Usually were i sit in the North Stand it's empty around me for games against the likes of Killie but it was completely full in and around me which was nice and considering we got a crowd of just over 4000, literally. I think it was an overall success. All i would say is that if they really want to make it work then they should do it by the official rules for tickets and let people 16 and under in for a pound. or is it 18?

Would he have really made much of a difference??? IMO things would have been worse if he played. Kerr and Black i think should be the regulars between now and the end of the season...anyhoo heres my pick. Esson Tokely, Mihadjuks, Munro, Djebi-Zadi Morais, Kerr, Black, Imrie Foran, Rooney Subs. Fraser, Duff, Hastings, Proctor, Vigurs, Odhiambo, Barrowman

I agree, watching your team lose consistently is nothing any football fan deserves. It is nice to see such a swift turn around in our fortunes though.

Sounds like McAllister has found his level then. Lets hope he stays there.
  12. In the 2 games i've seen McNulty play i would say he isn't even close to being a first team keeper. I hear he has been pritty dodgy for Elgin at times this season as well.
  13. AJS replied to Bronson's topic in Caley Thistle
Yeah time for Foran to play up top now defnitely. Imrie's end product to everything was absolute drivvel today, don't even recall him getting a shot on goal. I think he would make a good attacking midfielder just behind the strikers. Morais was unfit today i know, but he should be starting every game i think. Proctor is way too slow to be a wide player.
  14. Would agree with Muir-Jaggie, Ryan Esson was by far the best player today, both his handling and punching were top class. Not arguing with Pavels getting it, defensively he was really solid but his distribution of the ball, along with Munro, Proctor and Tokely was absolutly terrible. I nearly fell asleep in the second half but it was pleasing to at least see we are capable of dogged defender, something we would never have done under the previous regime. The case of Richie Foran playing up front was also furthered today by his goal, again when crosses go into the box it's him getting into the areas to finish. Getting 4 points clear of Falkirk after Liverpool's 4-1 triumph today made it the greatest football afternoon i've had in ages.
  15. *New goalie *Pavels on a permanent deal, mayb'e Foran too. *Left and right winger * Mayb'e time to get the likes of McBain off the wage bill * If Barrowman is still the same under Butcher then get rid of him

Forgot to say my three. Gascoigne Bellamy Latapy
  17. I heard that he got that job ages ago and was just waiting to get a chance to move out. Pleased for him, really nice bloke, had the privelege of nut-megging him in a 6-a-side game.
  18. We've worn the home kit at Falkirk Stadium for the last 2 seasons now, next Saturday will be no different i'd imagine. The black strip is one of the best we've had.

I asked about Goalkeeper tops a few months ago just out of intrest and folks at the shop said that they pulled them of the shelves a few years ago due to lack of sale.
  20. Brazil won World Cups with it and it has also been used successfully by Santos and Palmeiras. The Hungarians were also big on it too. It's pretty simple really, strong defence + strong attack = success. Totally different team, totally different players and totally different style of football. Brazil are nothing like ICT. After watching Brewster try to create his formations and player positions that created nothing but disaster i would settle for a basic 4-4-2. Basic football with a basic formation is what we have needed for ages. Not entirely easy because apart from Filipe Morais we have no real width in our midfield but having watched us in recent games it looks like our set pieces our vital. The likes of Pavels, Foran and Tokely have proved key with their flick ons and headers, its just Scottish football, sometimes it isn't pritty.
  21. Granty has had a couple of below par performances but he loves the club, he gives to the cause and he is still a relatively solid defender. His theory of a hit and hope punt is not the best but to be perfectly honest from his position he hasn't got much to aim at. It would be wrong to drop him imo because he is still a good player and if we did no one else would do any better.
  22. Would have to agree Scotty. I think had Butcher came in earlier Black would still be an ICT player beyond this season and Don Cowie perhaps as well. But you have to credit Black for his loyalty both to us and to his future employers. I know he supported Hearts as a boy and there is more money but the only downsides would be is that the club's run by a mad man and they already have a host of midfielders. I know some Hearts fans have questioned the signing of another midfielder.
  23. Butcher is trying to persuade Ian Black to stay at Caley according to the P&J. According to them the Pre-Contract can be abolished but apparently Blackies still intent on going. IMO it would be worth persuading him to change his mind. What do other folks think?

Ain't much of a name to shout about but i remember Russell Latapy played a stormer against us for Falkirk. It was when we won 3-2 but at the time he was 37 but he was running round the pitch like a 20 year old. I remember he ran about a mile skinning players in the process then layed it of to the boy Stokes. Then he did that all over again. Craig Bellamy had a great game against us as well but i seem to recall him playing well against every team he played against for Celtic.

You should check out todays courier pic of Lionel IHE. I think it would be perfect for signature at the bottom of your page. :thumb04:
