Who will Butcher try to get from ICT in Jan
DD has it spot on. Hibs have blown a fortune in the last season on time wasters like James Collins and have nothing to show for it. Terry and Mo will be doing the same thing they did here. Free bes and loanees. Only difference is they wont have to settle for the 3rd or 4th option on the list. They will more than likely get their prime targets. I really dont fear then coming after our players. Hibs paid through the nose just to get the Managerial Dream team they wanted. I will be surprised if any money will be left to spend (unless they have a clear out). As said the players havent lost faith and they certainly havent lost their bottle. The last performances, Hibs with the circumstances and St Johnstone being a boagey team pay dividence to that. We are on the brink of making more history in our near 20 year existance. We as fans can all sense and I think so can the players.

Inverness CT -V- St Johnstone
Great goal from Billy. Lovely bit of skill by Viva Tremarco and Billy did well to adjust himself to put it in. Saints looked dangerous on the break but seemed to run out of ideas really quickly, especially in the 2nd half. Dont remember Deano needing to do much. Foran and the back four put in another solid shift as well as Billy running himself raged. Defensively we coped well. This is a result we threw away in the last minute last season, whereas this season we have held out, sign of progress - especially given that its been 2 and a half years since our last win over Saint Johnstone. This no manager thing seems to be working well but no doubt we will be finding out soon enough... Only negative of the day i have is Marley Watkins - what is he supposed to be doing? Works hard enough but just dosent offer enough going forward for me, time will tell i suppose.

Would prefer Hartley over Shiels but if its him and Nicholl Id give them my full support...still convinced Hartley is the better choice though Not like we dont have the cash.

I dont want Robbo back but I will stand up for him here. He lost some of his jobs due to situations outwith his control. He was the first of Mad Vlads victims, County brought him in under false pretences and left him with no option but to resign and he got caught in the middle of a boardroom dispute as Derry got rid of him so they could bring Stephen Kenny back as their manager. I will admit he bombed East Fife and Livi though. As said I dont want him back but just think it should be noted that he hasnt been a disaster everywhere he has gone since he left. Suffered more from bad luck.

No one is going and no has any reason to go. Tobys future may be in question now depending on how the new manager rates him.

Graeme Bennett resigns from board
Been out of his depth for too long. Glad he is gone. Regardless of why.

Having researched Paul Hartley's stats I'd be really happy to see us take a punt on him. Didnt realise Alloa were 3rd division when he took over. With the cup looming we need a winner in the dugout. With 2 promotions to his 2 and a half year career as a manager, as well as his side flying high in the 1st Division (screw off, Im not saying Championship) he would bring a winning mentality into the dressing room as well as an eagerness to succeed and prove himself at the highest level. Amongst all the names that are flying about he is the one that is standing out for me now.

Richie Foran Signs On With ICT!
So chuffed hes staying. Real statement of intent from both player and club. Really lays to rest any fear of the squad breaking up in January. Bye Terry. Youll just have to settle for Nice Guy Stratford in January.

After watching that Kenny Shiels is a manager that fans would probably warm to after a good run of form continuing. I wouldn't be totally disheartened if the club do indeed choose Kenny due to the amount of time and effort that he puts into his football club. Getting him out of the central belt and into the non pressured highlands might do him good and he might not need to out speak with the press the way he done with Killie. Just watched the same interview. Really compelling stuff. Im really starting to sway towards him now.

I would like to think working with Kenny Cameron would rub off on Shiels. Im sure working with Michael Johnston would prove somewhat frustrating at times, given that hes a total erse . From my understanding Cameron strikes me as a quite a decent bloke and probably fairly easy to work alongside and with them appointing Shiels I would imagine he would have the full support of the board from the beginning, something he didnt really get at Killie. As a manager he did pretty well with what he had, they did tremendously in the cup and with a fairly small squad. He also did his best to unearth gems from down south and make the most of them up north which means the transfer policy wouldnt change too drastically. If he cuts out his attitude problem and comes up here for the right reasons I'd support him but thats only if.

Shiels once led a Kilmarnock side that let Tade score not 1 but 2 goals in a football match...yes, he let that happen. In all seriousness I wouldnt be opposed to him but he has criticised us in the past in different aspects. It will take a bit to win me over.

Double Whammy if we get Deek, he hates Butcher and it would shut the faces of so many bitter members of OTB.

Curtis Allen?
Hard for him cos he was injured at the beginning of the season. Billy was never going to get dislodged from the starting spot and Toby offers us something a bit different from the bench. Wouldnt be surprised to see him go in January tbh.

Butcher offski?
Stood by Terry and Maurice at times when others didnt and I believed in what they did right up until they left. The ego trip theyve suddenly developed over the weekend left me stunned. I still am. I didnt wish them ill after leaving but since hearing what they really had to say about the club I sure do now. Nothing short of disgusting as Sutherland so appropriately put.
