  1. They deal with players in a very bizarre fashion. They sign heeps of players, some get chucked after a few games, some are there till the end of the season. They really seem to lack stability in terms of a playing roster. Paixao has been an important player for them at times and to get rid of him with a few games left seems a bit strange. They also bought Casalinuovo. That seems a waste as well. They must be getting ready to cut the team and prepare for Division 1 i think.
  2. He took his time about it though. If any of the defenders had been doing their job they just might have got back in time to block or at least put pressure which might have caused him to pull it wide from 2 foot. If i was a Queens defender i would be wondering why Hutton felt the need to take so many touches.
  3. If Rooney were to leave and Tade were to replace him then i would want another striker to come in as well to partner him, someone a bit faster and with an eye for goal. Tade would be an effective outlet but he hasnt hit double figures for goals yet in his 2 seasons at Raith.
  4. Gros just missed a sitter.
  5. Was just about to say the same thing, Munro dropped as well. Can't remember ever seeing that happen.
  6. Noticed Dunfermline have dished him out a contract to the end of the season. I'm glad they took him back. I hope all works out for him.
  7. Duncan and Munro are not signed up for next season. I would like most of the squad to stay together but those i want gone would be Innes, Odhiambo, Blumenshtein, McBain and Golabek. Innes is past his best, Odi and Blumenshtein are unrequired passengers and Golie and McBain are far too old. Butcher has hardly used them which speaks volumes. I think Sanchez is defnitely worth retaining. He had shown in the games he played that he defnitely has a bit of quality to offer. For me we need a new right back, a new center midfielder with an attacking approach, a left winger and a faster striker.
  8. What i want to know is why he was even down on the dugout. No offence but that is not the typical place for a chairman. Was he even allowed to be down there?
  9. He put down almost every bit of carpet in my house, and specifically searched out Caley blue for me...man was an absolute legend and will be sorely missed by friends and family. RIP John.
  10. Esson Tokely, Hogg, Munro, Gillet Hayes, Cox, Duncan, Doran Foran, Rooney Subs: Tuffey, Innes, Duff, Ross, Sutherland, MacDonald, Odhiambo. If the team are as serious as they say they are about still going for a top 6 place then this is a must win. Kilmarnock are missing the prolific ways of Sammon and Taouil who is crocked. I think we are playing them at the right time.
  11. We will finish where we finish, all we can do is sit back and hope the squad can pull one out of the bag.
  12. Got a goal today.
  13. Thought BBC had their own little April fools joke when i saw this headline....as folks have said, it'll never happen.
  14. According to BBC he has started immediately. He will be sorely missed by Killie, turned their fortunes around in less than a year and helped them produce the best football i've seen this year.
  15. 2 things. 1st one was his vicious strike against Aberdeen from about 30 yards in 2004, he cut onto his right foot so last thing i did was expect him to shoot but it was unstoppable. The other was last season against Dunfermline. He was forgotten about all of last season but when Cox got suspended i feared Stratford would be put into what was a must win game, but Butch saw sense and went with Roy and he gave one of the most hard fought and inspiring performances i'd ever seen from a player in an ICT shirt and his commitment and love for the club came through that day. For me we will never get another player like him at the club again.

    Roy McBain

Terrific player and person, thank you Roy and good luck for the future.
  17. Sieko, Seconda, Rolex ???? I currently have a Timex .
  18. He lacks regular goals but i still think he would be an excellent addition to our squad. He has a great work rate and he's a powerful bloke too. If we were to get him i'd play him just off the striker, where Odhiambo is supposed to be good .
  19. Would be worth a watch.
  20. Quite sure he was released after Brew got the boot.
  21. Paper says today that Shinnie will miss the rest of the season. Gillet is back at the right time it seems. And Nick Ross has a virus.
  22. Hamilton for pritty much the same reasons as Caley100 plus their boring style of play. Dundee for never knowing when to quit spending. Aberdeen for their false sense of accomplishment. The Old firm for the way they dictate most things in the game.
  23. Don't think we will ever regret letting him go. Was the right decsion for both parties at the time.
  24. Esson Tokely, Munro, Hogg, Gillet Hayes, Cox, Duncan, Doran Rooney, Foran Subs; Tuffey, Innes, McBain, Ross, Duff, Sutherland, MacDonald.
  25. Foran was out for the first month with a knee problem at the start of the season. Gillet injured his knee in the Hibs game in September. Was never fully disclosed what he did. Cox had his ankle damaged by a reckless challenge from Ki against Celtic. Blumenshtein tore his groin muscle against Celtic on the opening day. McCann suffered a knee injury which required sutgery and he subsequently returned to Hibs. Chris Innes tore his hamstring against Hearts.
