  1. Esson Duff, Tokely, Hogg, Shinnie Ross, Duncan, Cox, Doran Rooney, Foran Subs: Tuffey, Innes, Sutherland, Sanchez, MacDonald.
  2. Game off.
  3. I shall change my team since Hogg has now joined. Esson Duff, Tokely, Hogg, Shinnie Ross, Cox, Duncan, Doran Rooney, Foran Subs: Tuffey, Proctor, Innes, Sutherland, Sanchez, Odhiambo, MacDonald.
  4. Gonna be a very intresting end to tonights transfer window.
  5. Or Tade with whatever cash we get with him?
  6. Wow, i know Rangers cant afford to sign anyone for a fee but this is desperation smacking them in the face. Horrible player and person and an average player to couple with that. Looking forward to heckling him when we see him.
  7. Hibs transfer activity today has been very strange today. Theyre only signing so far is a goalkeeper despite already having 3 experienced keepers already. They have got rid of their main creative spark, Zemmama, and have now released one of their longest serving players in Hogg. Nothing really seems to make sense there.
  8. Dale Hilson is an 18 year old LB at Forfar on loan from Dundee Utd so i don't see how Duff could be a make weight in that deal. LB is not a department we are in need of strengthening. I wouldnt mind Tade in at some point and maybe a centre mid but that is hopeful thinking
  9. Hmmmm...this signing could be 'up there' with the capture of Phil McGuire He was captain at one point of Hibernian, i think he could be a really good signing.
  10. With Doran and MacDonald coming in i would think Gil would be surplus to requirment, i hope he does get released so he can move on and the club can use the money available from that to get someone in.
  11. Wouldn't mind Cadamarteri, pacey forward who can play midfield as well i think. Would imagine he is on his way back down south but if Butch is looking at him id be happy.
  12. You seem rather confident about that.
  13. If Tokely and Munro are both suspended then i hope we sign a new defender over the weekend. I remember Brewster thinking Proctor would make a decent centre half and Proc was getting ripped apart on a weekly basis, Innes is ok but needs a good partner beside him. If they are our back up backline then i fear for our chances of getting anything from the next few games.
  14. Another young lad out to prove himself, looking forward to seeing him.

    Russell Duncan

His contract is up at the end of the season.
  16. Esson Duff, Tokely, Innes, Shinnie Duncan Hayes, Doran Sanchez Foran, Rooney (if he is still here) Subs: Tuffey, Gillet (if fit), McBain, Cox, Ross, Odhiambo, Sutherland.
  17. While i'am the first to admit i'am not his biggest fan i will be the first to admit he has been one of our better players this season. Most games he has played we have got results and most he hasn't we have either lost or failed to get a result, stats don't lie. The last 2 games have been crying out for a defensive presence in midfield, yet the lad was left completely ignored. At one point we had a striker and winger occupying centre midfield last night, that is just not on when Russell is at our disposal. What has the boy done to deserve this? He shores up the midfield when he plays and he always gives 100%, get him back in the starting 11!
  18. A very disspointing night with a red card that completely dictated the way of the game. Didn't see what happened myself but Maguire was laying it on as thick as he could, he got up and as soon as the linesman flagged collapsed to the floor again. :irritated: Fantastic goal by Jack, but his celebration was not needed. He should've been booked and McArdle should have been red carded. That challenge on Shinnie was disgraceful. Duncan shoudlve been on 2nd half, with Duff reverting to right back. And as usual the forward subs were too little, too late. Doran showed a bit of promise when he came on, look forward to seeing him more. Rooney had his chances but more often than not lacked service, Defence got ran ragged and easy balls seemed so difficult at times. Same old stories. Hoping more new faces arrive soon as we are in desprate need of new options.
  19. Another promising young prospect. Heres hoping he does well.
  20. Of all the players Adams could go back for it wasnt Gardyne, it wasnt Brittain, not even Barrowboy....it was "Jimmy" Scott I think County will be laughing all the way to the bank with that ?100k, no way is he worth that amount of money.

    No end product

Would agree with Manny on pritty much everything he says. The problem is Hayes is the only creative player we have in the middle of the park. Foran is a striker playing left wing, though strangely it works at times. Duncan and Cox are defensive midfielders as is Duff. While they can do simple stuff most times when it comes to craft and vision for carving out attacks they struggle. Especially when we are up against it. Sanchez so far has impressed me but he is a striker. I think we are in need of new players, that is what i want and it is what i think will make a difference. An attacking centre mid, another forward of some sort, some new defenders are needed but i think we have just about enough there just now. From what i could see yesterday, Rooney's mind just was anywhere but the game. He has had long enough to make up his mind and it is about time he let us know what his intentions are as i don't think this is helping the squad either
  22. Kilmarnock will finish up in the top half and im willing to bet that either Aberdeen or Dundee United will pip us for the other spot, Motherwell are in the mix too. I just think unless we get back to the way we were before christmas we are destined to finish under the top 6.
  23. He's crocked just now and is not worth the massive wage he would want...no thanks.
  24. Duncan and Hayes shouldve started. End of. As soon as Duncan came on the defensive side of the midfield bulked up quite sufficently which i felt was lacking and Hayes looked fit enough to have done an hour. I was dissapointed with todays result but encouraged by parts of the performance. Sanchez was brilliant, Ross worked his socks off and i thought Shinnie did well against Dougie, who i think was struggling to cope with the stick i think, wish i could care. Not sure bout the pen, thought it was soft but need another look. Dissapointed with the 2nd half, felt it dragged on too much and silly mistakes started to creep in, so a point was probably fair. I still think the squad looks a bit stale and i hope 1 or 2 are brought in before the transfer market shuts.
  25. Esson Duff, Tokely, Munro, Shinnie Duncan, Foran Hayes, Sanchez, Ross Rooney Subs: Tuffey, Innes, Golabek, McBain, Cox, Sutherland, Odhiambo,
