  1. We took the decision it wasn't worth waiting around any longer. I may have spoken to someone of it was just me but wasn't having my son listening to any more, especially after him turning to me to say he wished they would stop. The abuse from the first post was actually screamed repeatedly at a ball boy, and was clearly heard by him. There was a whole range of different abuse for players (beast, pedos, c**ts, threats to batter, kill, etc...). A steward did come up at one point, stayed for a minute and went away again. This was more than one person, and I wasn hanging around for more to save 10p.
  2. Was a stand out when he came on yesterday. Gave the team much more drive going forward, and was taking on defenders like nobody else in the team. Surely deserves a start soon. A few guys need a rest.
  3. Hughes was never someone I thought of, but said at the start that I would support whoever the board decided to hire. This appointment if/when confirmed doesn't change that view. My first choice was Hartley but for whatever reason thats not happening, so looks like time to get behing Yogi, and the team. He deserves time to show he is up for the job.
  4. Great draw. Very happy with that. A good Scottish Cup run would be fantastic. We deserve to win a cup!
  5. I thought we lost a bit in midfield when Pepper moved to right back. Thought he had a great first half. Reminded me of Ian Black (in a good way!!). He suited the position.
  6. With our away record, we'd probably prefer 4 games on the road.
  7. I would imagine only Easter Road or Pittodrie could really be considered due to size. Tannadice is only 14000 and McDairmid is only just over 10000. From a selfish point of view i'm happy, as Easter Road is easy!
  8. Just a suggestion regarding the players sponsored, if there is interest already in people taking up the option in these 2 players, would it be worthwhile for the site to pick different options? I don't know how much the uptake is, but do they sell all the sponsorship options each year? We could just wait to see what was left and vote on what option to take up, which would maximise the money going into the club. Just a suggestion.
  9. Another reason season ticket sales will be down, people simply just can't afford it. Its not just the SPL clubs that are having their budgets cut!
  10. Well I can admit I did email the club, and have not bought a season ticket. That's because I never promised to, and there is no way I can justify doing so. What I did promise was to increase my support for the club, which I am doing by joining the player sponsor for the first time, will be attending as many home games as possible (my first home games in at least 3 seasons), buying the new shirts for the first time in years, and doing whatever else I can spending money at games. I know it is the best way to plan ahead for the club with season ticket sales, but lets not think its the be all end all, it doesn't mean people are not supporting the club!
  11. But with our injury record recently, please DON'T break a leg!!
  12. There is more to putting your money where your mouth is than buying a season ticket. I used to attend games fairly regularly from West Lothian, and barely missed a game at Pittodrie, but due changes to family and work don't think i've been to a home game in about 3 years. This season I have joined the site player sponsorship, will be buying my sons first ICT strip, will probably get one myself, and will commit to attending as many home games as possible instead of going away. There is more to supporting the club than season tickets, especially for people who arn't in a position to get one. I applaud anyone who is getting one without being able to get to all the games, but not everyone is capable of doing this. Doesn't make them less of a fan.
  13. I quite like it, but then i'm not too bothered about the whole Blue/white/red/black issue. This will probably be my sons first ICT top though!
  14. Wow, way to completely humiliate the club and sh!t on everything you have done over the past couple of weeks. This statement is at best nieve, and at worst a complete slap in the face to all the fans, not just of Inverness, but also all the SFL clubs and fans too. I'm embarrassed by the club tonight!
  15. Rangers statement already released stating the face "an Uncertain Future", and that they expect SPL/SFA to follow through with promises to set up SPL 2 involving Rangers and inviting current SFL1 teams to join. If this happens that would be a discrace. Sevco need to accept that this is not a punishment. They are a new company with no history, and have not actually fulfilled any of the criteria in being accepted into the league at all, but are being givenspecial treatment so the can join the league. Regan and Doncaster OUT! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18813407
  16. That is a good idea, definitely something to suggest to the club. Think this would be a great option for those living a bit further away who can't commit to a full season ticket. This would be the kick up the backside to get to more home games!!
  17. The only person who said they vote might be delayed is Doncaster. The guy is a liar and continues to push his scare stories to try and force people to see his way! The time has come for change, and this clown losing his job needs to be high up the list!
  18. I got the irony, just think for a team our size we are always going to need to rely on bringing in loanees to bump up the squad numbers. If he can bring in players on loan who add real quality, and we would otherwise be able to sign, I'm all for it. As I said, he normally finds a couple of gems a season.
  19. Hopefully a few, generally they bring in one or two gems on loan. Doran, Davis, Golobart among others. Hopefully we'll get a couple more before the season starts.
  20. Info on the website just now. 3 signings announced, these 2 plus Raven. Good to see the new faces coming in, looking forward to more next week hopefully. http://ictfc.com/news/club-news/531-terrys-new-signing-hat-trick Shows that Terry is working on things we don't hear about. Fans get frustrated when they don't hear anything, but the club generally deal with these things in the right way, i.e. not through the media.
  21. I will be doing this, seems to be a problem with my bank approving the payment just now though. Will try again with another (non RBS!!) card later. Count me in though.
  22. St Johnstone now joined to make it 6. No need for the vote now, lets just get on with rebuilding a brighter Scottish Football!
  23. On BBC now too. Well done to the club for not sitting on the fence like others, and for listening to the voice of the fans. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18577192
  24. How is the squad looking for this. Been keeping an eye on the thread and may pop along.
  25. Also 2 home games against both Celtic and Ross County. Will hopefully mean a good boost with extra ticket sales for these games.
