The reason, as I understand it, that there's no stewards in the carpark at the end of the game is because the majority of people were ignoring their instructions, one steward was injured and putting anyone in there to try and conduct the traffic had become a serious safety concern.

Looks like Alex called it right in closing the poll based on those 4 words alone, so end of argument in that regard. If you want to make any further comment on the subject then I ask that you follow the correct procedures by raising the matter with one of the Senior Moderators (Gringo and The Mantis) via PM and they will take it forward for proper discussion. With regards the Trust, nobodies been more critical of them since they formed than me and their was things (not) happening which I felt strongly about. I learnt that all the bitching and moaning in the world wasn't going to change anything so I put myself forward for the Trust Board and I can now have a proper say. Not saying that I've changed anything, but I'm now in a position to put my ideas and thoughts forward and to challenge anything I disagree with before it comes to an end product which is what most people see. We can all mouth off (I've done/do more than most), but are you willing to step up to the plate and actually do your bit to perhaps bring about the things you want to see? I'll happily sign your (or anyone's) Trust Board nomination papers.
  3. Yeah, and I'll stick a broom up my butt and sweep the place while I'm at it!!! :)
  4. You'll have to fend for yourselves in gathering all the pre-match data and things folks as I'm about to head out and Scotty isn't around a PC.
  5. What a breath of fresh air having a manager who doesn't trot out the same rold tired nonsense and cliches in the press every week.

Cars do have passengers seats, and it's easier for taxis to get to stadium (and away again) when the traffic has cleared.
  7. Cut out the noise, some of us are trying to sleep.
  8. Managed to get a photo of C*unty training when I was in Dingwall this morning....

I know it doesn't say it in the opening thread, but we need people for all home matches so the offer isn't a wasted one.

Also includes parking, programme, team lines, HT pie and drink...so altogether it's really not that badly priced. Over 18 home games the cost comes out at something like ?130 worth of stuff included in the membership. ICT don't seem to have been given the same freedom on their drinks license as C*unty, so unfortunately they can't provide the same kind of facility.

It's a fairly relaxed thing, basically the bar is open, you can have a bite to eat and watch some footie on the box..... much like going to any other football/social club before a game. You then have the free cuppa and a pie at HT and can wander back in after the game for a pint while the crowds/traffic clear. I assume you've got a pass/membership for Saturday? For those not aware of it, the club are doing a one day membership for the C*unty game for ?10 and if you like it and decide to join up they'll knock the ?10 off the full price.
  12. Sorry, but since America are boycotting Scottish products, I'm boycotting their products.....including their music :D
  13. If people have ideas for designs, or want something in a colour not shown etc then let me know and I'll see what I can do.

It's the "Kingsmills Club" on matchdays. Hot food is available pre-match, but what that consists of I'm not sure. Opening time sounds about right although I don't have an exact note of it. Not a shirt and tie job.
  15. Just need to be careful you don't get thrown out of the home end.....lord only knows what state you'll be in if you land up in the South Stand!!!
  16. Next week I believe.
  17. Don't think the extra day makes any difference to things and this tendency to move the dates around is a load of unnecessary nonsense.....if there's a deadline, then that should be it, if it falls on a weekend or whatever, then it's not like clubs aren't aware of it in advance. With regards to our position.....can't see any of our main players heading out the way unless we get offers we can't refuse, and that's unlikely in the current economic climate. Hopefully we can shift a couple of the fringe players out on loan, but that's purely me thinking about the financial situation as opposed to wanting to see anyone go. Coming in, I think we've had our lot unless Butcher can get a striker that's more promising than what we have already.
  18. All these queries have already been addressed on previous Announcer/PA related threads. This is the 4th thread on the subject this month!!!
  19. There's no way you'd get me dressing up like an idiot at the football!!!

With it being a nice night people were a bit more spread out and we even had a few in the uncovered ends....think that's why the crowd looked to be a bit more than what was reported. BTW, for those interested, Albion Rovers had 25 fans there and I believe I can get the attendance split for future games. Would expect 6000+ for the game on Saturday, really looking forward to it and the craic pre-match should hopefully be a bit better.
  21. Guys, let's keep the content as sensible as possible and within the confines of football banter. You all know there's certain topics where are a no go area on the forum and if you keep pushing your luck despite previous warnings then the moderators will be forced to take further action to prevent you making additional work for them.
  22. I earn not a single penny from providing this service, sales aren't huge (never expected them to be) and I just about cover costs. I offered to do it for the club (on a more cost efficient/profitable basis) a few years back and they weren't interested. At the time I got the impression that selling anything other than "serious" merchandise would have been considered sacrilege!!!
  23. First new t-shirt design of the 2009/10 Season Click Image to go to Shop
  24. Regarding Cox.....heard a rumour tonight that he doesn't actually need to wear the splint any more, but as he scored in his d?but whilst wearing it he views it as a lucky charm and will continue to wear it for the rest of the season!!!
