Caley for UEFA Cup?
With Ibrox and Tynecastle crumbling I expect nothing short of a 2nd place finish for ICT this year...anything less and CC must go!!!! :014:

SPL Celtic's priority - Strachan
It's easy for Strachan to come out and say the SPL is his priority given the fact they don't currently face any big competition from the 2 clubs who should have been the largest contenders (Rangers and Hearts) to challenge them for the title.

"um...em....um...errr.....and....um....er" End of interview :015:- CTO Lottery Syndicate - Increase your chances of winning the Lotto!!!
For those of you who have taken a look at this but are perhaps still a little unsure about it let me post a few facts for you. UK Lottery A single line has a 1 in 14 million chance of hitting the jackpot A syndicate member has a 1 in 1.9 million chance of hitting the jackpot A single line has a 1 in 54 chance of hitting any prize A syndicate member has a 1 in 13 chance of hitting any prize Hit 2 Numbers as a syndicate member and you get £0.84p - on your own you get Zip Hit 3 Numbers as a syndicate member and you get £11.80 - on your own you get £10 Hit 4 Numbers as a syndicate member and you get £115.59 - on your own you get £56 Hit 4 Numbers+ Bonus Ball as a syndicate member and you get £2843.67 - on your own you get £56 Hit 5 Numbers as a syndicate member and you get £61876.61 - on your own you get £1656 Above numbers were based on actual winnings by lottery syndicates identical to the CTO-Lottery Syndicate where the Jackpot was 2.8 Million The odds work more in your favour when it comes to playing the EuroMillions. For a factsheet giving full explanation of the above figures for both UK and Euro draws Click Here With the rollover on the EuroMillions now at an estimated 88 Million for next week, would you rather have a 1 in 76 Million chance of hitting the Jackpot on your own OR a 3600% better chance of winning it as part of a syndicate of friends on here?- Who will get the bullet first ?
I don't think Brewster will get the sack either. He's not the kind of guy who would let that happen as his own personal standards are higher than those of the club and he will walk before he is pushed.- Hearts in turmoil
Many of the "Fans" backed the move initialy, mostly due to the fact they felt they had thier backs to the wall and were looking at losing Tynecastle to property developers. They sold out to the first fat wallet that came along despite all the warnings that were plain for us to see. I commented on the subject both on here and on P&B from the outset that the guy was only interested in the real estate that came with Hearts. Romanov is getting exactly what he has been working towards since day one, make it look like he is spending millions bringing in players and improving the club whilst in reality spending nothing, take control of the clubs debts, p!ss everyone involved with the club off and cause them to turn on him.....and the next stage...a statement from Romanov along the lines of "It has become impossible for me to work with this club, despite everything I have done I feel I can no longer continue". He then pulls the plug and either sells Tynecastle or closes the doors on the stadium and develops it himself into a nice profit making scheme of flats. Thier are some genuine fans who will have been opposed to the whole thing from the get-go, but any fan at any time who has uttered any kind of support for Romanov, either in regards to his initial arrival at the club or anything he has done since is getting exactly what they had coming. Romanov has them by the balls and thier is not a thing they can do about it.- Mystery exile may invest in Caley Jags
Although it is nice to have people who want to invest money in the club (be it hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands or millions) it is just as important to have forward thinking/succesful business men/women at the helm. We are forunate enough to have had such people on the Board over the years and Alan Savage shows all the makings in his past business dealings to be the man to continue that trend. Jeff MacDonald also appears to be of a similar ilk and thats what inspires me when you see names such as his linked to the club and potential investment/involvement. Any financial investment will be great but I don't see these guys as the kind to be looking at thier investment as simply being the purchase of a status symbol, if they wanted that then there are bigger clubs they could throw thier cash at in order to meet that kind of ends. These are the kinds of guys who thrive on the challenge of making things work properly and the success that comes from that is what we as a club can look forward to sharing in IMO. Scotland is loved by the Yanks - they all want to be one afterall. Bigger European have already tapped in to a large part of a (relatively) small "soccer" market in America but I think their is still room for us to exploit the "Highland Roots" angle over there and build an overseas following. As cringeworthy as that may sound it makes a lot of sense to exploit any available opportunity to raise the clubs profile and increase/develop income streams. Provided we don't loose our identity in the process then it's all good by me....Not so sure Texas is the kind of place you'd want to be parading around in a kilt though!!!! :015:- Hilarious Reading
Still no bids on that season ticket then...... :015:- What Sh*t*y Home Support?
Not tried it, but likely tastes better than the coffee :015:- Thanks Mr Chairman
Will the real Alan Savage please stand up...please stand up!!!- Thanks Mr Chairman
Don't think Alan Savage would be too happy that Mr Smith is introducing himself as the Chairman!!!!- C.C Tactical genius?
"Going for Broke" is just as valid a tactic as any other, especially in a league which is shapping up to be so tight that every goal/lost goal could count come the end of the season. You really are turning in to a bit of a boo-boy RiG - forget the last time I actually saw you on here giving any praise or credit where it was due without countering it with a dig of some form.- John Rankin
How can people say he didn't deserve MotM??? He single handedly turned ICT from Howlers to Heroes by scoring 2 and contributing to the third. Even if ha had sat cross legged on the centre spot for the remainder of the match it was these 3 instances that won us the game and IMO anyone who can turn a game from a 2 goal defeat into a win deserves a MotM award, regardless of what they have done for the rest of the game.- Golly turns down livvy
Was on the BBC website yesterday when the original topic was posted.- Golly turns down livvy
Going out on loan to Livi in order to play some footie and regain the edge he seems to have lost may not have been such a bad move.- David Sutherland
Neither DS, His Family or any of his companies own any of the stands, they are owned by the Charitable Trust, which in effect makes the owners of it those who would benefit from any profits made by the Trust. I believe the Inverness Sports community is the benefactors of the Trust and Tullochs (and possibly others) underwrite the Trusts debts. If things went belly up tomorrow and the stadium had to be sold then any money left after clearing the trusts debts would be used to promote/benefit sport in the Inverness area. Tulloch/DS/Directors will have made no direct money from any of their dealins with ICT, but what they would have generates is a lot of goodwill, which is good for any business. Why do people find it so hard to believe that a person just wants to give back to the community/area that has served them so well without having some kind of hidden motive???- CTO Lottery Syndicate - Increase your chances of winning the Lotto!!!
A subject that has come up on a few occasions when I have been talking to people is the idea of having a lottery syndicate which members of the site here (aswell as friends/family etc) could participate in. I have looked at the ways this could be set up on a number of occassions and each time I have ditched the idea due to the amount of work that would be needed in collecting subscriptions, checking numbers, putting on tickets etc etc - in short, it was just too much hassle. However, I have for the last couple of years been keeping my eye on this idea. Many of the things you see floating around are just too suspect to jump in to, or they appear for a short while and then vanish off the face of the earth (most of the time taking your cash with them), but this one checks out all the way down the line and they have been around for a good while. I won't bore you with all the details, you can get them yourself by checking out our Lottery Page which has all the details and a couple of vid clips for you to watch. http://www.virtualworlddirect.com/ctolottery I had a look through all the "form" e.mails/marketing brochures etc this company provide and they all seemed a bit cheesy....so here's the bottom line as I see it. If you prefer your "£1 - 1 Line - 1 Chance to win" approach to the lottery that you take now then the chances are this isn't for you. Some people will knock the idea and pedal it as some kind of "Con", thats fair enough, the concept just isn't for them either, I have thoroughly checked this out and their is no Con. All the info is there for you to make a decision based on whether or not you see the benefits of the system. If you are able to think outside the box and want an easy, hassle free way of playing the lottery AND increasing your chances of a win then this might just grab your attention. For those of you who like to free-load you can do just that, for absolutley no cost whatsoever you can enter the £1000 free draw - just use the above link to get to our lottery page then click the Grab-a-Grand link/logo, enter your details and pay absolutley nada - can't say fairer than that!!! The Small Print.....CaleyThistleOnline.com DO receive a commission for each new member who plays and continues to play and this money will be used to offset site costs and help us to continue adding to and improving the site. So this is a chance for you to scoop big on the lottery and help out the site all at the same time.- Brewster!!
Back in May I posted the following............ I very much doubt ET would have allowed himself to be held to ransom by any manager given recent history in that dept at DU. As an aside to this point, the last I heard, we were still to receive the remainder of the money due for Brewster and the rest of the staff who left along with him, although I haven't seen the recent accounts in full so I can't say for certain if this is the case or not.- North Tonight, UNFECKINBELIEVABLE
CB, I may be missing something, but your justifying the treatment (or non-treatment) of ICT's result by North Tonight on the basis that more people were/would be interested in the Dundee Untied result. Exactly when did they move Dundee to the North??? It's a hard enough battle recruiting new fans to ICT as it is, and this kind of media blackout by a programme which is supposed to carry news from this area does very little to help the cause. I have no problem turning on to watch the national news and it being biased towards the better supported teams, but when I tune in to watch a local news programme I expect local news.- RANGERS 0 INVERNESS 1
But we did score and the posts aren't different. This was a tremendous result for us at a time where everyone (team and fans) needed a bit of a lift. What's to be served by trying to take the shine off it??? Holding Rangers to a draw would also have been a good result in most people's eyes, and when it comes to playing the OF playing pretty football and getting the result is as uncommon as rocking horse chit. It comes down to grabbing every opportunity you can, regardless of how it comes about. If you can't get a little excited over a win against one of the OF then their really is little hope for you ever getting excited over ANY win. I also don't think anyone thinks this win makes us invincible and it will be back to business as usual next week - but for now, do yourself a favour and enjoy the moment.- RANGERS 0 INVERNESS 1
Thank God for that, I'd hate to see you if you were really having a go at the team :017:- can someone tell me
We have never beaten Aberdeen in a competitive match - One of the newspapers Sunday Post I think it was) also reports that we have now beaten all teams....mkaes you wonder where they got the info from??? :015: - Who will get the bullet first ?
