What he needs is a good boot up the jacksy. He struts about the pitch like he owns the things, looks in honest amazement when the referee has the audacity to chastise/book him for being an on the field Ned, obviously has very little respect for the badge given his antics against Dunfermline and now, just because we go 3 goals down he can't be ersed playing any more so gets himself red carded. Can't recall if ICT have ever fined a player, but if ever their was a justifiable case, then this is it.

You can be sure the RBS will pursue the retrieval of the cash. They will have a note of every card/account who benefited from the error. If you benefit from an ATM error and do not bring it to the attention of the bank or your own bank then you are (in the eyes of the law) guilty of theft - it's the same with any "Bank Error in Your Favour"

Recall reading something somewhere where CC said Buchanan would more likely be a Summer Target depending on other movements

Two cows ina field...which ones on holiday? The one with the Wee Calf Don't worry, already got the coat on :016: Still not bad, a week aff with a weak calf....honest, that was my parting gesture :001:

When it comes to penalties Brown is a very misunderstood character....it's obvious he dives the wrong way in order to try and put the penalty taker off.

Whats this got to do with football?? Got a good mind to shift it to Anything Goes :016: :016: :016:

Gordon Gillespie and Peter Paul provide great pics from the games - often better than the press offerings IMO, but don't tell them I said that or they may start charging us :004: Photo Gallery Link Thingy

What you have in Morgan and Hastings is two guys who can play left back or midfield, both are good at running with the ball at their feet and both can deliver a decent ball into the box. Pairing them up on the left would be a great idea as they are pretty interchangeable and can cover each other without them having to play out of natural position/s.

I was thinking more along the lines of an "aswell as" rather than an "instead off"

I have to say that when it comes to ICT nothing shocks me much these days......thats not to say that the feel good factor from results like tonights is any the worse for it.

Talking of the crowd at the match. One woman walked past me carrying one of those foldy seat things and I said to my mate that we must be in for a record attendance when they were bring in something to sit on.....then they announced just that, reckon I could replace Johndo as the site seer - thats SITE, without an H :015:

The high from results like tonights is better than anything you'd get taking a puff fron Johnboys pipe :001:

When Morven was at the club I rasied the suggestion of setting up a system where the fans could text the players shirt number in during the last 10-15 minutes of the game in order to have a fans MotM but nothing was ever done with it. Not only does it introduce an element of fan participation but it would raise a bit of cash into the bargain. They could even do a prize draw for all people entering for a signed ball or something to encourage entries.

It's going to be busy at the rock they've all crawled back under :001:

That performance tonight is the reason why I am so confident we will not be relegation contenders come the end of the season. As has been said by many people, a team don't just turn into mince overnight and we haven't being particularly bad football. ALL areas of the park did their job tonight and ALL players were on form - the stats don't lie and we made Rangers look like the team that was second bottom for most of the 90 minutes. As for Rankins goal.....what a beauty - definite contender for Goal of the Season in my book. Brown - Never had much to do the whole game in all honesty, and for the first time in ages he was actually playing the quick short ball out instead of hoofing it long all the time. Munro - Absolutely solid and timed his tackles well Dods - Back to the solid defender we know he can be, his goal was pretty but he got it in the back of the net despite it bouncing around akwardly. Hastings - Really wish we had a solid Left Back to take his place, not because Ithink he played poorly, but because I would love to see him play left midfield. The guy must have run a Marathon tonight the number of times he was up and down that wing and most of his balls into the box were accurate. Rossco - Graceful he isn't but he covered his side of the park well, still looked like he needs to work on his fitness a bit as he was flagging badly towards the end, but continued to give his all till the final whistle. Wilson - What I wouldn't give for a time machine to turn back the clock and give him his legs back. He played his heart out the entire time he was on the pitch and had some nice moves past Rangers players. No disgrace in being subbed as he had given everything he had and was running on empty (Smart move by CC to switch him to the left for 10 minutes to see make sure we were keeping our shape before introducing Morgan in his place) Rankin - Thats the kind of play I want to be seeing from him every week. He chased everything, ran at the opposition and scored a wonder goal to win us the match. Black - Apart from one moment of stupidity that got him booked he had a great game. Still think he should be pushing forward a bit more when we're on the attack instead of strutting around like he owns the place, but que sera. McBain - Quitely effective would probably be the best way to describe his game tonight. Never stood out for anything good or bad and was pretty effective at just putting his foot on the ball then laying it off to keep the attack flowing. Wyness - Another who must have run a marthon tonight. Chased down every ball coming forward, ran at the defence time and again and laid of some nice balls for shots on. Bayne - Proved tonight that he can play as a targetman and must have won more than his fair share of the balls coming over the top to him Morgan - I don't think CC will be in a hurry to let him go out on loan. He wasn't on the pitch all that long but he slotted in well and the team managed to keep their shape which was an important factor in tonights result.

Might be a good argument for playing McSwegan to give us a bit of a presence and experience (old head and all that) up front.

Pele is the most succesful manager we've had to date and you struggled to tell if he was even awake at times, let alone anything else - I fail to see where the attitude that a manager jumping about like some kind of looney makes them more succesful comes from. -
After the amount I ate on Christmas Day then a Second Bottom sounds like it would come in handy!!!! Back on topic - Sometimes you have to take a step backward to go forward. The step backwards can happen for various reasons, change in players, manager, style of play or the presence of a little complacency - it's the actions of those in a position to sort it that will prove the making of ICT this season, and it's far too early to be judging whether or not people at the club are up to the job. We went through slumps under Pele, Robbo and Brewster and came through them and as yet I have seen nothing to suggest that CC won't bring us through this one. You can see he is trying to introduce a more entertaining style of football (witnessed in all it's glory against Killie) - this is what everyone had been shouting for, and they got it. We lost and those very same people are then shouting that we should stick to what is working......Whats the guy to do??? It Graeme Speirs (sp?) stylee - if we are relegated this season, I'll kiss IHE's tattoo.

If ANY player in a team of mine "ripped their shirt off" in public view, regardless of the reasons, then they would be up for a fine and possibly a spell on the sidelines. In my book thats not only a total lack of respect for your manager, but also the badge your playing for. One pr two of our players are starting to get ideas above their station and developing selfish attitudes. I don't believe for one minute they are throwing these tantrums because they felt they should stay on the pitch for the benefit of the team. It's about time CC started taking a hard line with these players before the attitude spreads and others start to think it is acceptable behaviour.

As Stevie says, it works both ways....but I do find it funny that some people automatically interpret disagreement as people having a go at them, often reding more into whats said than is actually there. If they were so confident in the point the were making then they would be able to debate it and back it up, and if they were as open minded as they claim to be then they would be able to understand where any counter argument was coming from instead of reverting to the "I always come in for some stick" stance. Some posters do offer very little other than ignorant "shut up" style replies, but they are in the minority, and quite frankly, best ignored if they can offer nothing better to the discussion.

Will we stop complaining if we draw or beat Rangers?
