  1. It was the league match the previous September that Ma-Kalambay saved the Niculae penalty. Russell Duncan handled in the box right at the start and Hibs scored the resulting penalty. Brewster was brought down just before half-time for our penalty which was saved.
  2. See my response to Scotty.
  3. My comment was in response to the post I quoted which was trying to make a case that whilst this one person was guilty, it was somehow unjust to punish them on the basis that other guilty parties have not been. i.e. I was accepting Joe's assertion of guilt in demonstrating the ridiculousness of his statement, as opposed to my applying any assertions of my own. Whether or not I have any further information has no bearing on that.
  4. On the contrary, I would say that anyone else partaking was lucky as opposed to this person being unlucky. The attitude that one person should not be pulled up when others are also involved is very bizarre....in fact, it's the very thing that many here complain about time and again when it involves other clubs.
  5. I'm screwed....unless Jacamo has become an acceptable alternative to Stone Island!!!
  6. Going back to the original point of the thread.... Anyone who doesn't realise that the Champions League was designed to catapult/guarantee the inclusion of a select set of teams pretty much from the outset is blind. You just have to look at how coefficients etc are calculated to realise that it is heavily skewed and designed to keep the wee teams/nations out. Criticise this new approach all you like, but at least it's honest in it's corruption. Those running the game at the highest level aren't interested in football fans. What they want are consumers and TV has been killing fans and producing consumers for over 30 years now. It's not about the sport anymore....about having teams competing on a level playing field. It's about entertainment and generating as many blockbusters for the TV as they can....because that's where the money is.
  7. Someone needs to tell Richie then, as he's not aware of it.
  8. If it wasn't one of the 5 the already have, then maybe!!
  9. Where did Galling sign from?
  10. Is a resolution not required for the adoption of the accounts? I sent an email at 22:05 on Monday (8th) but I've had no reply, not even an acknowledgement. Let me know if you've not received it and I can copy the content onto here for you instead.
  11. Yogi told the press last week that Higdon's availability didn't even register on his radar as he isn't what we are looking for.
  12. Richie Foran is NOT out for the rest of the season and the club have no idea where that story came from.

  14. Two questions.... The Agenda makes reference to Resolutions, but none are included? The nomination form asks for a signature to confirm agreement to being bound by the Society Rules and Board Membership Policy but neither of these things are included, nor any information as to where people can get a copy? Please advise.
  15. Not having a go at you as I appreciate you are actually one of those trying to do things for the right reasons, but there are others on the board who are longer serving and should be more aware that the above does not satisfy the minimum requirements for giving notice of the AGM.
  16. Off topic.... but I've not seen the advance notice (should be sent 8 weeks in advance) or compulsory notice (should be sent 14 clear days before) for the AGM. Has it been issued? I've also not seen any request for nominations which should be sent out with the advance notice, 8 weeks before.
  17. Development payments isn't/wouldn't be the issue with Miles. I believe his club have a 1 year option (you know, the things that the breadmaker say aren't binding) which means we couldn't sign him on a pre contract. There's probably some deadline by which his club would need to exercise that option (or not), so it may be possible to do something before the end of the season....but I'm not up to speed on that. The football contract world is changing massively....and I don't think it will be for the better. Football Associations are moving more towards only being interested that dates and eligibility are in order.....with anything beyond that (terms) being deemed a matter between clubs and players which they will not get involved with.
  18. A few of the 'experts' on this topic seem to have missed the statement from Greg's agents on Wednesday....
  19. What are you on about? I think you'll find my criticism was in regards to a tweet being wrongly accredited to the club and nothing whatsoever to do with people's thoughts on the Greg Tansey situation.
  20. Or maybe people should just stop with the knicker wetting......assuming they're more than 3 years old.
  21. People really should check before making assumptions.....as the club DID NOT post the comment. I posted the comment, and not on the club account, in response to several Aberdeen fans asking if they would also be making an offer for the guy who does ICTFC's Twitter account.
  22. I suspect OCG is right....but maybe not for obvious reasons. It's thought/believed/rumoured that a sizeable proportion of all County season tickets are "gifted" by Global to staff, friends, people they do business with etc. Since their head office is in Inverness then the owner of all those tickets has an Inverness address, even if the people who use them may not.
  23. There's no requirement for USH in the SPFL anymore...just "adequate winter pitch protection". I know 1 premiership club no longer has it and believe there's a second. Also rumours that the boiler shed for the USH at County is empty.

Does someone else want to explain to ForzaCaley why they've just made a tit of him/her self?
