Trialists
When you read what Yogi has actually said and ignore the "spin" attached by the reporters, then I don't see any problem....nor do I see him say he was unhappy. Yogi has a different way of working when it comes to recruitment and he thinks there's a better way of doing something at the club. So, he'll sit down with the Chairman to discuss it and look at alternative methods. Sounds like a perfectly rational way for a manager and chairman to go about things.

ICTFC v FC Astra Giurgiu // Travel + Build up
Not sure where the info/idea has come from that there won't be a public sale. Sales have been good....but not quite that good. Of course, if people want to guarantee a ticket, they can always purchase a season ticket before the 1st July and get a ticket for the FC Astra game at the same time!!!

ICTFC v FC Astra Giurgiu // Travel + Build up
The club have a couple of temporary staff in assisting with ticket sales etc at the moment, so apologies if there was any misinformation given, or information not passed on correctly. The situation for our home leg is that the South Stand has initially been designated (as normal) for away support. However, should/when the Main and North Stands sell out then the South Stand will be made available (as much as possible) for home support. Allocation of tickets to visiting FC Astra fans is being done so as to allow us to maximise this, should it be needed.

ICT's youth policy criticised
I'd take those rankings with a pinch of salt as the vast majority of the criteria is for things that have little to do with the success of the youth setup at each club.

Season Ticket Booklet - Match Number A & B ?
They have no specific purpose and are put in there as extras/spares. One of the situations which may require them to be used would be if a match was abandoned after fans were in the ground. Those who bought tickets would have a stub, but season ticket holders would not....and the spare vouchers would be used to allow them entry to the rearranged fixture.

ICT's youth policy criticised
Strange that the guy who came up with the system seems to have totally ignored the fact that ICTFC do not have access to the performance schools they are ploughing all the money in to...!!! http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish_football.cfm?page=2660

ICTFC v FC Astra Giurgiu // Travel + Build up
Row S, the club have (and still are) looking in to that....they also appreciate and understand that some of those who may have been interested will have made other arrangements. The club did not expect to be in a situation after the draw where they would know exactly where we were going...in that respect we are all ahead of the game. The expectation, and the reason the club were asked to consider a larger charter to accommodate fans, was for a scenario where we would have had 4 (working) days to organise flights and fans facing the prospect of flights being way, way more expensive than they can currently be secured for. I don't know what the prices are likely to be for joining the club charter, but given that St Johnstone's is at about £950, then I hope nobody is holding off on the club thinking it will be a cheap/cheaper option than using scheduled flights.

What positions do we need to recruit?
Last line of the Chairman's comments when we signed Nat Wedderburn.... http://ictfc.com/news/team-news/1565-natll-do-for-me “John has a number of targets in mind and we are confident of adding another three or four faces to the squad in the very near future.”

Nick Ross signs for Dundee
Having got to know "Nick the Person" as well as "Nick the Footballer" I've got mixed emotions. Selfishly, would have loved to see him stay as I think we've still to witness the best of him and this could easily have been a big season for him and the club would obviously have got the benefit of that. Unselfishly, I think this will be good for Nick...in the same way that I think it's good for any young person to get away from home (even if just for a bit) and break out of their comfort zone. There's not many players out there who can say they've been at a club for 14 years....especially ones that are only 23 years old.

There's a Ross County joke in there, but I don't want to be arrested.

2015/16 Season Ticket Info
Ask Uncle Roy.....he claimed at a recent fans meeting in Dingwall that they had 400 more than us last season. If you took his number of 1800 for Ross County then do the maths, you'll come up with the wrong answer for us.

I think you'll find that Buckett's comment was intended as tongue in cheek.

2015/16 Season Ticket Info
The club don't do "numbers", but the Chairman did say in a statement the other week that sales were already outstripping previous seasons. Free U12 info is on all the advertising info, website and price tables....so I'd expect anyone looking in to buying season tickets would be aware of this.

2015/16 Season Ticket Info
I'd give the club a call just to check on what the state of play is as I think you should have received your books by now if everything went through ok (01463 227451)

What do they think now?
I'm going to revise my saying of "One Great Club, Two Great Histories". I think we've now earned the right to say...... "ONE GREAT CLUB, THREE GREAT HISTORIES"

A novel idea
Don't really want to turn this thread into an argument on Summer/Winter football (it's a discussion being had elsewhere), but my statement was one based on what experts (Grounds Staff) say on the matter. I also know from having spoken to a senior person in the FAI that they regret switching to a summer schedule because of pitch issues and crowds having dropped. Anyway, I mentioned the artificial pitch idea (regardless of whether the season is summer or winter) because it is a great income generator. It could pay for itself (and the additional facilities that go with it) in a little over 3 years and then be generating a 6 figure annual income beyond that. It could just as easily be built externally whilst leaving the grass pitch as is....although that too is in need of total replacement, will cost at least a couple of hundred thousand and not increase the clubs income as a result!! As I said above, ideas are no more than that if the money isn't there to execute them.

A novel idea
Summer football actually increases the requirement for artificial pitches as you are taking away the period during which work is done on grass pitches to prepare them for the winter season. The winter break provides little/no period of growth for grass regeneration. It's the biggest flaw in the whole "Summer Football" argument.
