  1. I remember the days when we welcomed fans of other teams on here....and some great craic we had with many of them over the years. Ho Hum...!!!
  2. Financially, Europa is a burden until you get to the group stages. Maybes Aye, maybes nah. Depends who we are drawn against, how far we have to travel and whether we can pack the place out for our home tie(s). Not a fortune to be made but there may be scope for a modest profit. http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/st-johnstone/1322800-steve-brown-wants-uefa-help-for-st-johnstone-europa-league-travelling-costs/
  3. Now confirmed....matches v Newport will be worth watching out for.
  4. Might be a few bits of painting need done around the place.
  5. Still got a year on his current deal, he's just rejected a contract extension.
  6. The point that Butcher used to make...but was never fully covered/explained by journalists (that I can recall) was not that players demanded higher wages, but that the transfer fees for younger players (development costs) priced them out of our range....which is pretty much zero in term of paying a transfer. When signing players from England (cross border), you can sign younger players without incurring that fee for development costs. Unless a Scottish club frees a young player and, in doing so, gives up their right to a development fee then they're not going to appear on our radar as a feasible signing target....on the basis that if clubs are releasing a young player, then the chances are it's because (in most cases) they don't have it to go on to a higher level. It's for the above reason that, IMO, Aberdeen only made a move for Graeme Shinnie for this coming season and not before now. Had they done so, then we would have been able to demand a sizeable transfer fee based on his development time with us.

  8. The WWC doesn't even get a mention on the Sky Live Scores page....so I guess BBC are one up on them.
  9. Early Bird Reminder.....oh yeah, and sales are already outstripping previous years!!! http://ictfc.com/news/club-news/1562-early-bird-reminder
  10. Hilarious that they quote him as saying "from my Caley & County days"....he clearly thought that dream he had of playing for us was actually real!!!
  11. So how come I missed him playing for Caley Thistle? http://www.brorarangersfc.co.uk/club/267420/News/view/889348
  12. That's what Yogi calls him as well. Corrected him (Yogi) on it once and his solution is to have Aaron change his name.

    Beat me to it...
  14. Not finalised yet, but wheels are in motion for production of a double DVD.
  15. Just a shame it's all been printed upside down...!!! It's ok if you turn your phone the other way round That's good news....thanks.
  16. Just as soon as someone gets around to processing them. With us being back so soon for Euro preparations the office staff are all trying to squeeze in some well deserved holiday time so resources are a wee bit shorter than normal. They will be out in plenty of time for the new season though.

    James Vincent

Vincent has also been a little unfortunate with injury or I suspect he would have had a more regular starting berth. His misfortune, however, has been to the benefit of Ryan Christie...and all credit to him for grasping the opportunity with both hands. At the start of the season Yogi stated that he would be looking to give him (Ryan) about 15 games and he's finished with twice as many starts as that and a dozen sub appearances on top.

  19. If by "full strength" you mean a league plagued with teams over-spending to achieve then you can keep it. For the first season in many, many years I've had a real interest in games beyond our own. Part of that is obviously down to what ICTFC have been achieving and keeping a closer eye on the competition, but the fact that it's been an "honest" season without teams spending beyond their means has also played a large part. I'm thoroughly looking forward to another season of the same.
  20. You can't upload video to the site....images only.

  23. Does that include Calum Ferguson then? He seems to be in a bit of a grey area in this regard. Interesting though that he wasn't on the bench for the Celtic game. One would think that suggests that he's leaving the building (provided he wasn't injured of course). Bare in mind, Jason Brown and Ali Sutherland have signed new deals and were on the bench, but Baptie has not been offered a deal and wasn't. Wonder if the same can be said for Ferguson then? I don't know for certain what the contract scenario is with the U20's. I do know that he is/was injured though (had been for a few weeks), hence the reason he wasn't included in the squad for Celtic.
  24. Remember that all first team squad players who are out of contract HAVE been offered new deals by the club. Any players who may move on are doing so of their own volition.
  25. I've got 200+ pics of the crowd that I took from the bus on Sunday....do you want to put these in a separate/sub folder? Still working through my match day pics...got about 1100 of them, but I will whittle it down a bit before uploading.
