  1. Och well might as well put the cat amongst the pigeons. Home shirt in Blue with two red stripes, White shorts and red socks. Away shirt in White, Black shorts and Red socks. Simples.
  2. Must have come across the same article at the same time Alex. CC is Head of Youth Development, Duncan Shearer is U20 coach (not classified as youth for some reason) and Highland Academy is a facility.
  3. Not sure what Danny MacDonald's remit is to be honest but our Head of Youth Development is Charlie Christie, a post he has held since a number of years. I do believe however that Danny MacDonald is assisting Duncan Shearer with the U20 squad next season.
  4. So WTF is our Willie Miller on about here? From BBC Website - Willie Miller: "The SFA charge for coaching courses. Why not drop that if you're attached to a club? Scottish football can't afford to employ coaches at development level. Celtic can and Rangers could. Inverness Caley Thistle can't afford a development programme let alone employ someone to manage that programme. With Aberdeen, I had two centres, one in Edinburgh and one in Dundee, that I had to close because we couldn't afford it and we had only one full-time coach. I don't think we can compare ourselves with Germany, with a population of 80m people and funds coming out their ears. We should be looking at Iceland." I'm sure Charlie Christie has something about this!
  5. RF obviously didn't consider him value for money. A strategy I have absolutely no problem with.

Wait for what? No RIG I am not genuinely suggesting Hughes should have been retained but people don't need to keep on about his faults.

No problem with you Pimple. It just gets to me when people constantly criticise a man who brought the most success to our club. I also fully believe that there are two sides to every story so I just cannot believe that Hughes turned on our Chairman/Board without good reason. I do not however agree with how he went about trying to sort it - but maybe, just maybe he had tried to do this internally without any success. Who knows, I just think we should put this to bed and get on with giving our full support to Foran.

Apart from me, you must be the most boring old windbag on this site.
  9. Give the boy some respect. I think we should be wishing him well so good luck Liam.
  10. More than likely that's the case but who knows, we may have found loads of bucks from somewhere.

Good to hear there is interest in Deano - I hope he gets fixed up soon.
  12. I'm sure RF has spoken to Butcher about Boden and here's hoping his first signing is a good un. It will no doubt take him a wee while to settle in so let's be patient and give the lad a chance to become our new Billy Mac.
  13. There is no way any u20 team will win this cup. At least the beaks are making an effort by changing the structure and should be applauded for doing so.
  14. I know DB was coaching in EofS league but where did Hissy end up?
  15. Sounds like what we could be interested in
  16. Do you really believe that?
  17. I'm sure you're right ocg but who's going to find them?
  18. All managers have different opinions and it doesn't mean he was a bad player just because Yogi didn't play him.

    You really are boring!

I hope he gets the job with Hibs. The man's a good coach and they have the facilities he desires. If he were to take them up he would be one of the most decorated managers in Scottish football. Good luck the bear.
  21. I can't say this appointment was unexpected and I wish RF all the best of luck. He will have ups and downs just like all our previous managers and I just hope the usual critics give him a chance when things aren't going so well. Personally, I look forward to seeing what changes he makes and the type of player he signs. They say Ireland has a wealth of talent waiting to be developed so maybe he will look to his homeland to start his recruitment. Good luck!
  22. Rich coming from you
  23. If it's down to money, I doubt if we could compete with the likes of Colchester
  24. ... you'll take a pay cut and pay Yogi's compo - ya beauty!

I would agree but playing ability has to be 99% of the decision.
