  1. Strange indeed. Danny has confirmed personally to a number of people that he has gone. And the DoF doesn't know? I also see that he states that there is no U19 SFL League. Strange again, there is a league but I think Ross County are the only full-time team. The SFL U19 league had 19 teams last season. It really does make me wonder........
  2. Dougie McGilvray has rapidly become the forgotten man at TCS , disgraceful treatment . I know Dougie will be hurt more than anything else by 2 of those appointments. Dougie did a lot to take us where we are now and made a lot of mistakes along the road but his treatment since then has been absolutely terrible. You have only one man to blame for this, a man who is not worthy of filling Jock MacDonald's shoes. Never mind, he loves the Club and Football so much that he will see all the negative comments from the fans and hand back the title. He will probably ask for the Tulloch name removed from the stand as well. Come on you fans, when will you realise he is doing all this for the LOVE of ICT and Football!
  3. Between those 3 the club will save ?100k +
  4. Obviously there is about a 99.99% chance that he will go, but I reckon it's also quite likely Brian Kerr will go and I wouldn't be surprised to Foran away too, I just find it a little strange to come out and name someone explictly, no matter how obvious it may be. Is it possible, Renegade, that he was taking advantage of some free advertising to alert the market that we have a good player for sale. I realise that this is the job for the agent and no doubt he will have done his ground work but if this free publicity gets another club interested and we therefore end up with ?1000 or two more for the club, maybe it was worth a shout. Sorry, you have lost me here, who exactly do we have for sale?
  5. Danny MacDonald - Head of Youth Dev - Gone ? Jim Falconer - Full-time football secretary - Seemingly offered Sturday only instead - Gone? Tommy Cumming - Full-time Groundsman - Gone? Tommy Wilson - Full-time Youth Coach - Gone? Anyone confirm?
  6. Will probably take the club to industrial tribunal on basis of constructive dismissal
  7. The only reason we had an U-19 team was because SPL rules dictated it. The two outfielders who have been offered contracts are deemed to be as good as, if not better than, Vigurs and Wood and will come in cheaper. The reason both those players have been let go has nothing to do with their skill or ability. Its more to do with finance. People can comment till the cows come home about the board and the club letting talent go but the bottom line is, if we are to survive and recuperate from our relegation, we need to take stock, cut cost and rebuild. Not too sure about giving Kyle a contract though. Nothing to do with his ability but more his injury and what effect that could have on his confidence in the future. Not sure caleyboy, where your coming from about vast amounts of money being spent. Announced on Radio Scotland on Friday that Danny MacDonald had either been made redundant or had resigned. Alex: A major part of what I mean by "vast amounts of money".
  8. The SFL have an U19 league but apart from RCFC I think they are all part-time. The old East Reserve league is still in existance I think but I remember the days when we had a team in it and we had to play all our games away from home because the others refused to travel up here (Doc & Duncan Shearer ran the team).
  9. Heard yesterday that Scott Kellacher is now surplus to requirements. Maybe that means no full-time U19's next season!
  10. Absolutely right birdog. Why don't we just sell our merchandise online and forget about that awful porakabin stadium extension?
  11. No, its the Under 11's to the Under 17's are running not just the under 11's and 17's Exactly. Business as usual for the coming season and 3 of the under 19s given 1st team contracts. Not such doom and gloom after all. I am glad we finally have an announcement from the club which should go some way to install some confidence All very well LG but I don't see any announcement about our full-time U19's. If we keep this squad, we will be playing in the SFL league which is predominantly part-time and played on Saturdays and Sundays. Personally, I think it is about time we reverted to engaging only the cream on full-time contracts and they would train with the 1st team which would bring them on that much quicker. The club would also save on at least one coach's salary (whatever that may be).
  12. Before we had a full-time U19 setup we were taking on the same number of young pros on 1st team contracts. When you consider the vast amount of money being spent and the fact that we are telling the majority of the squad that they are not good enough the whole thing needs to be reviewed!
  13. Not sure what Jackie Sutherland does at the club these days but I,m told he got his P45 last week!
  14. Good point Kencar. Unfortunately, the rather huge salaries being paid to some in the youth dept are nowhere near covered by the SFA Grants!
  15. Have you heard of anyone (non-playing) getting their P45 recently?
  16. Come on folks - ALL these so called stars are HISTORY so lets let it go!
  17. Said it many times before, Zander should ply his trade in the 2nd or 3rd divisions where he would probably get a regular game.
  18. Proctor plays sh*te at RB Proctor is s#i#e anywhere.
  19. CaleyP did you not slate Dougie "1st division" Imrie and now your great white hope has signed for a bottom 3 1st Division side? I thought you had him signed for half the SPL and now he's signed for a possible relegation team, maybe not the star you had him down for? well he turned down a move to a team in the UEFA cup next year as he wants to get a good season behind him....he accepted less than quarter of the wage this team were offering him including flights for him and his family every month to sign for county, so maybe he wants to prove something in scotland first. hows that mike, has imrie had an offer like that??? also mike including the team from over sea's he had SPL clubs interested, he just thought he'd have a greater chance of a game next season with a 1st division club so he can get experience behind him. anything else you would like to know mike?? Yes, if he has had these great offers and he's turned them down and he's signing for a lot less, is he getting more than he was at ICT from County, because I'm sure you said he needed to live on more than minimum wage? If he was as confident in his own ability as you were, surely he would have been better taking an offer from a bigger club than County, or does that where he think's his level is to be sure of a game? Your painting a picture of a young boy with the world at his feet but he joins County :021: , looks to me like that's the attitude that Butcher saw and kicked his ass out the door! :allhail: :025:
  20. with a "get out" clause. Spot on IHE. BOTH ICT and TB have a clause to terminate if relegated. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if our decision makers are making it difficult so that it is TB who makes the final call and they will again be the good guys. At the time off them signing i cant call hearing anything about them getting clauses in there contracts but then again it could have be kept behide closed doors Correct - our masters really do believe they are so cute.

  22. Maybe this is all before your time LG but we didn't have that joke of a portakabin stuck onto the front of the stadium. Ian Broadfoot and Kenny (Omar as he was affectionately known in his refereeing days) operated from a self-contained shop (albeit small) within the stadium. There was no need for a full-time set up as there probably won't be next season. I still feel we are "playing at the game" of retailing club gear and it is about time someone in authority took the whole thing and gave it a shake. The first thing would be to demolish that shed stuck onto the frontage!
  23. Buying stock costs money and carries a risk that it doesn't sell. I do agree that the shop has often been understocked, but I don't think this is the time we will see an improvement in variety. More likely the reverse. We didn't even have a shop when we were in the 1st division before. I hope that isn't going to be the case this time as it provides a valuable income stream, but it will have to prove vialbe. I clearly remember a club shop when we were in Div 2 never mind Div 1. It was run by Ian Braodfoot and opened only on match days.
  24. He obviously comes with a great deal of knowledge cos he's from Newcastle B) :D
