  1. I'd forgotten that the dates, times and venues hadn't been announced yet, what with all the distractions this past week! (MOT, dentist, Mum's Birthday etc.) But in all seriousness, Easter Road again - in Hearts' back-garden effectively. What's worse though is this time it's not a Saturday afternoon but 12.15 on a Sunday! For a team whose fans travel from Inverness!! The authorities really don't give a monkeys about us. Can you imagine the uproar if Hearts were made to play at Dingwall against us at 12.15 on the Sunday? Very hypothetical, because it simply wouldn't be entertained.
  2. Phil Roberts gets such a bad press due mainly to his missed penalty at Easter Road. However, I urge you to check out the goal he scored a couple of weeks ago. For those who haven't seen it, he picked the ball up on the left touchline - no threat apparent, but he cuts across the park and unleashes a screamer! It's here, uploaded by RiG. Post #295
  3. They've (Hearts) played their recent U20's games in Newtongrange, at the juniors ground.
  4. Why does everybody 'suck-up' to IHE? Anything he posts, regardless of how profound or speculative seems to be met with overwhelming approval. He could post a picture of a tin of Heinz beans and submit a random caption of 'Butcher's last meal' or some utter drivel and get around a dozen 'likes'!!!
  5. That's quite an astonishing revelation, Mahonio. I really hadn't thought about that. Thurso has a golf club!
  6. Saturday 9th November Premiership Barry Robson (Aberdeen 1-3 Hearts) League Two Rory McAllister 2 GOALS (Elgin City 2-4 Peterhead) Highland League Martin Bavidge (Fort William 0-6 Inverurie Loco Works) Craig MacMillan (Buckie Thistle 1-0 Huntly) Zander Sutherland (Brora Rangers 6-0 Rothes) Grant Munro (Brora Rangers 6-0 Rothes) Andrew Greig (Brora Rangers 6-0 Rothes) Richie Hart 2 GOALS (Brora Rangers 6-0 Rothes)

  8. Caley didn't actually score in that game! That was the 6-0 Rangers defeat.
  9. Too hard to call! But,...in no particular order: Ross Tokely Dennis Wyness Grant Munro Iain Stewart Barry Wilson
  10. A huge difference in opinion regardless of the names mentioned! There will be a lot of fans p***ed off at the appointment - whoever it may be! It really is the end of an era. Hopefully, whoever gets the job gets the backing of our fans!
  11. I asked this question earlier - got very informative answers - it's effectively the number of hits. Loads of 'outsiders' like Hibs fans have been on - We've even got new members who couldn't 'bite their tongue' any longer! But, I reckon responses is a better indicator of thread relevance - putting this one 4th at present.
  12. Pages accumulated doesn't necessarily reflect the true picture of interest in a thread, due to 'multi-quotes' taking up space, buI know you're aware of that, Yngwie, and you weren't claiming it was. But, yeah, it's surpassed the legendary 'Butcher to Barnsley' thread! It's is now the 2nd most viewed thread ever and 4th most contributed-to thread in ICTonline history!! And I think there's more to come! At this time: 5pm, 8th November 2013, the top lists are: VIEWS: 1. Wilson: "Bring Back Robbo" 2. Butcher offski? CONTRIBUTIONS: 1. Rangers go into administration 2. Butcher to Barnsley? Terry stays put*** 3. Merger Talk 4. Butcher offski?
  13. This is getting ridiculous! No statements - nothing! And we're playing the 'encroaching' club Hibs, in what's now literally a few hours, makes this totally farcical. Regardless of the outcome, neither camp has come out of this looking particularly clever.
  14. Too soon for Barry Wilson, I feel. I imagine he has designs on the ICT job in the future, however. A 'natural' stepping-stone for him would be going into the SPFL first with Elgin City and then, if he does well, look to go higher - then it could be us!
  15. I gave you a 'like' there when I saw a list of odds before I had the chance to digest them! So I 'unliked' it - but have now 're-liked' it 'cos it gave me a laugh! No odds available yet - I've been hunting. I can't see there being a book opened until Terry's officially gone - some bookies still offering 'Next Hibs Manager' odds. Coral 1/7 - I've stuck £46 on as that's all I've left in that account - like to think I've (for once) caught the bookies napping! I genuinely hope I lose my bets though. Gutted at the developments.
  16. Chris Harvey at the stadium also reporting that Terry took his dog, Fritz along to ground....probably to help fend off the 'dog's abuse' he feared getting!
  17. This is all very interesting! I'd be delighted if my £100 bet on Terry leaving was lost. Mind you - I'd think about taking the BBC to court to recoup my losses for reporting Butcher had agreed terms as a 'fact' - when in reality it was something that was obviously just pure sensationalist conjecture! Actually, I wouldn't bother with the BBC as I'd be too busy opening red wine to celebrate...paid for on my credit card obviously!
  18. It's quite amusing that we look to the Hibs forums for any snippets of information, while the Hibs fans appear to be constantly referencing things they've read on this forum!
  19. Aye, I saw your flag in the ground!
  20. Not sure if this is genuine or photo shopped? Allegedly a screen capture before the article was removed. Hibs.bmp
  21. Nice, catchy caption!
  22. ^^^ Brilliant analogy....but you must stop reading my diary!
  23. Indian League Claude Gnapka scored yesterday for latest club, Salgaocar.
  24. Sadly, every player has a price and no clauses will change that. Contracts in football mean very little. I got slated on this forum for not entirely joining in the celebrations when Billy signed a new contract! I protested that too many folk were celebrating the 'fact' he would be now definitely be with us for the next 2 seasons. Billy will leave us in the summer - he won't be hanging about here next year. He'll undoubtedly want to move on if Butcher goes! It's the end of an era when Terry leaves. But the start of a new one... Nobody is bigger than the club. We'll all still be on here, typing our thoughts - regardless of who the manager is! We'll all have opinions even if the new boss is SpongeBob SquarePants! He'd do alright! Players? He's got a big pool to dip into! As his name suggests he likes to play it square and 'soak up' the pressure. He'd be 5 Star!!!
  25. Dundee and Dundee United also drawn in home ties! There will have to be a bit of movement in those ties, certainly! But, I think we could 'get away' with Inverness v Morton and Ross County v Hibs on the same day? Nice job for the Transport Police to separate the Leith smack heads from the Greenock coke-brigade outside WH Smiths at the station, as their fans literally **** themselves while fascinating at how next-year's Highland calendars are displayed on things that spin around! WOW! Not stereo-typing here! - go and watch - if you can wade through the 45 litres of pee imposed on the Sunday cleaners.!
