Reguero to Kilmarnock?
Kilmarnock boss talking publicly about it now. Aye, he's away for sure... Shiels also confirmed Inverness goalkeeper Antonio Reguero is on his radar and he is optimistic about his chances of recruiting the player for next season. He said: "I spoke to Terry Butcher in January to say that I was interested in the goalkeeper to give us back-up for Cammy Bell and to challenge Cammy for the shirt. "There has been a good response and hopefully that will reach a conclusion very shortly."

Reguero to Kilmarnock?
Good find, RiG. Looks like he's off indeed! We'll have to find another 'keeper! Our scout/coach, Steve Marsella, was one himself, so he knows what to look for. He found a gem in Reguero! I imagine Scott Mathieson would do a decent job as back up to Esson, but ideally we need another goalie with experience to challenge Ryan for the jersey.

Reguero to Kilmarnock?
I don't know, but looking at Terry's quote, I reckon they've discussed terms on a new deal but can't financially match what Kilmarnock are offering... From the same article*, I notice Killie have also just signed TWO Nigerian International players! Another club operating outwith their means I wonder?! *http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/top-football-stories/kilmarnock-sign-gabriel-reuben-and-papa-idris-1-2862079

Reguero to Kilmarnock?
First 'quote' I've heard from the club in relation to this 'rumour', is in todays Scotsman... Inverness goalkeeper Antonio Reguero is in talks with Kilmarnock over a potential summer switch having impressed since joining on a one-year deal from Spanish club Gandia last June. Reguero is thought to have been offered a pre-contract deal as Kilmarnock manager Kenny Shiels braces himself for Cammy Bell’s departure at the end of the season. Inverness manager Terry Butcher said: “It will be disappointing if Antonio does leave. There will be no hard feelings I have always said I will never, ever stop a player leaving us for more money somewhere else. ” So, It's no longer a rumour and I'd hazard a guess that sadly, he won't be here next season. It's always disappointing when we resurrect a player's career, give them a platform - put them in the shop window, then they up-sticks and leave at the earliest opportunity. Happens to us all the time!

Unless we pick up some results in the games remaining we will likely be in Pot 5 for the next draw! Still a pot ahead of San Marino though, so all good!

Thanks Granty24 for your information. Good stuff.

Split Fixtures
It does get a bit farcical! The SPL 'computer' tries to work it out fairly but often teams end up with 3 home games and 1 away to a team. A major flaw in the 'split' system!

Hearts U20's 1-1 Inverness U20's
LOL! The exclamation marks were just to 'flag up' the quote from the Hearts fan. I'm pleased Roberts reacted in that manner. I agree with you lukemackay, Roberts is just a young player and has to put it behind him. Blimey, I would love to have been allowed out to watch SPL standard players in my lunch break when I was at school! Like you, I was at Millburn, but back then the most exciting thing I could do in breaks was to buy a black coffee from the vending machine!

Hearts U20's 1-1 Inverness U20's
Have no more info on todays game other than the scoreline. Got it from Jambos-kickback forum. The only Inverness player mentioned was Philip Roberts. There were a few comments about him: "Their no 7 Phil Roberts looks tricky. Having a good battle with Hamill" "Ah good ole Phillip Roberts, the man who skyed the penalty in the League Cup Semi" "Hamill did ok after a nervy start. He had some good tussles with Phil Roberts, who it must be said looked very sharp." "It was good to see Roberts respond with a smile when he was reminded of his penalty miss at the LC semi by a crowd of youngsters on their lunch break from Tynie school." !!!!!!!!

Highland Derby u20, FT 2-3
Thanks for your informative report. Good to see Hogg coming through a full 90 mins. And Shane Sutherland grabbing a few goals recently for the U20's will do his confidence good. I believe the U20's have a game at Hearts tomorrow. I'm no manager, but I doubt it would be wise to play Hogg in this one, just 48 hrs after his endeavours on the heavy pitch at Dingwall!

There are a couple of good match reports for U20 games further back in the forum. Some youth players I can think of are Ryan Christie, Calum Ferguson, Andrew Skinner, Jay Cheyne and Ryan Watson.

Team for County.
Agree totally with team and subs from Renrgade's post. If we're honest, these are the only 18 players available for the game, apart from Gibbons and possibly Laing!

Newport fan in peace
No, we haven't!! He's scored in 5 matches and we WON in 4 of those. The game we didn't win was the 4-4 draw at Dundee United.

Are we scared of this profile
Motherwell have actually beaten us x3 this season, old caley girl! If my arithmetic's right, Caley Thistle could be celebrating a guaranteed Top 6 place on Sunday night.
-
ICT position at the split (33 games)?
We could be guaranteed Top 6 by Sunday if results go our way!!!

Safe
I agree with bdu98196's post above. Top 6 has long been our aim and to actually realise it would be a massive thing. If County finish higher, then so-be-it. This 'shadow' thing should be confined to the school playground.
