  1. Finished 0-1 with Celtic's goal coming in stoppage time.
  2. This hasn't been done for a while, so just an update following confirmation Andrew Shinnie won't be with us next season. 3. At time of posting, it's updated to 19th April http://www.scotprem.com/content/default.asp?page=s60
  4. Well done to Don Cowie who helped Cardiff to a draw at Burnley yesterday, and thereby picked up a Championship winner's medal.
  5. Saturday 20th April 2nd Division Paul Sheerin (Arbroath 1-0 Stranraer) 3rd Division Stuart Leslie (Elgin City 1-2 Berwick Rangers) Rory McAllister (The Rangers 1-2 Peterhead) Highland League Connor Rennie (Forres Mechanics 2-2 Deveronvale) Daniel park (Formartine United 5-1 Clachnacuddin)
  6. Just qualifying would be an event! No expectations of 'doing anything' in Europe. Not something I ever thought I'd see, so any draw is welcome! And in reply to Laurence, we must remember that teams like Derry City will be HOPING to get us in the draw! (if we make it!).
  7. Good luck with your initiative. Hope you raise the funds you need.
  8. And I've never heard of ITC before, Rainbow!! LOL!
  9. Wednesday 17th April Highland League Craig MacMillan (Nairn County 2-2 Buckie Thistle) Graeme Stewart (Nairn County 2-2 Buckie Thistle)
  10. I'd imagine he'd be a squad player as opposed to a direct replacement for Shinnie. He's not played any higher than non-league in England so SPL will be a step-up for him - although we just need to look at Gary Warren to see that it can be bridged! That said, he's currently playing a couple of levels lower than Warren was when he came to us.
  11. Tuesday 16th April English League 1 Barry Robson (Sheffield United 2-2 Brentford) Adam Rooney TWO GOALS (Swindon Town 4-1 Crewe Alexandra) N.B. Must also congratulate Inverness lad and our former player, Don Cowie, who'll be playing in the Premiership with Cardiff City next season!
  12. Hope that's correct! Would be happy to have Polworth and Cooper in the squad for next season. I've never seen Martin Laing playing, so I don't know about him! As well as it's going for us regarding re-signing players, we're still around 14 players 'light' for a squad for next season at this time!
  13. ^^^ I like that Monopoly analogy! Here's one for the SPL voting structure. A dozen guys are on a stag night finishing their drinks in a pub. "Right lads, do we stay here for a another pint or will we head to the next bar? Hands up we move on." (a forest of hands (ten) goes up). "Okay, that's unanimous ...10 wanting to hit the next pub. So, it's decided guys, we're staying here! Not a sufficient amount of us want to move on" !!! DEMOCRACY!??!
  14. Jacket
  15. Dalbeatie need to go junior. Too good to be in that South of Scotland League. I know they've previously tried the EoS, but I'm sure they could hold their own initially in the lower West leagues.Or even better...the Pyramid system that Scottish football badly needs.
  16. If you look at the Hibs fans' forum, you'll see how fickle fans can be! From Fenlon being the worst Hibs manager, overseeing the worst performance in their HISTORY, with season tickets being ripped up, Griffiths being crap, "don't blame the fans leaving at half time", no backbone or ambition, never going back to Easter Road, embarrassed and ashamed to be a Hibee.....to....Our name's on the cup! Fenlon deserves credit for his half time talk...so proud to be a fan of this Hibs team...the courage and resiliance we showed....Griffiths a legend....we're all going to Hampden in May...ooh to, ooh to be, ooh to be a..HIBEE! Hilarious! A few of the early posters probably wanting the thread deleted! But it's a lesson- never leave before the end of a game. In fact, the last Celtic v. Hibs Cup Final was in 2001 - the year after we had the famous 3-1 win at Parkhead. In the 2001 tourney, we were 0-3 down to Ayr and went on to win 4-3! Also, Hibs fans wondering if their comeback is the best in Cup history, but our Ayr win renders it NOT! Two great semi finals!
  17. Saturday 13th April 3rd Division Paul McMullan (Elgin City 3-2 Montrose) Rory McAllister (Stirling Albion 0-1 Peterhead) Highland League Lewis MacKinnon (Keith 1-2 Buckie Thistle) Our loanee to Buckie Thistle, Jay Cheyne was SENT OFF Andrew Greig (Brora Rangers 4-0 Turriff United) Richie Hart (Brora Rangers 4-0 Turriff United) Dale Gillespie (Brora Rangers 4-0 Turriff United)
  18. I still think Shane's worth keeping on - even if it's just a 1 year deal.
  19. Wednesday 10th April Highland League Callum Dingwall (Formartine United 5-0 Rothes)
  20. Nothing official yet!
  21. Let's just wait and see what the SPL computer decides! It's maybe a Commodore 64 so give them time!
  22. It'll damage his Scotland prospects too. Just pathetic. In football terms, it's the same as him dropping down to play for Stenhousemuir. 2nd Division football. The only difference is the money. Strachan should avoid this guy. I'm quite bitter about this because it's made Killie look for another top 'keeper...and they've gone for Reguero.
  23. Saturday 6th April 1st Division Darren Dods (Falkirk 4-0 Cowdenbeath) 3rd Division Dennis Wyness (Annan Athletic 2-2 Elgin City) Gavin Morrison (Annan Athletic 2-2 Elgin City) - Still an ICT player, of course! Martin Bavidge (Peterhead 6-0 East Stirlingshire) Rory McAllister TWO GOALS (Peterhead 6-0 East Stirlingshire) Highland League Cup - Quarter-final Lewis MacKinnon TWO GOALS and SENT OFF (Buckie Thistle 3-3 Keith) (aet) Keith won on pens.
  24. Hopefully the fixtures will be released tomorrow night after the SPL games are over.
  25. Not sure how munros will be bagged, but I can assure you, GRANT MUNRO will be in the back pocket!!!
