Barry Robson v Clyde when we beat them 1-0.

New manager thread (merged)
Maurice Malpas would be an absolute disaster. I'm not sure about Archie Knox either.

Who will be the 3 candidates?
Sergio Markarian has a holiday home in Dorset, they are probably speaking to him.

Is this possible?

Docked Wages.
Why do footballers accept fines from their wages? It's a nonsense, if my employer tried to fine me money from my wages I'd sue them in court.
- Sack the board?

Flags of Inconvenience
I'd rather our club didn't turn into a tinky rent-a-cause poseur-fest like the Old Firm and their w@nker fans.

Good shout Chris, but I'd prefer Oleg Blokhin or Jacek Gmoch. Jackie Stewart.

John Robertson knows the club, is available, lives locally (I think?) and wouldn't cost any compensation. We need results now and he could be the sort of manager who could get them. I think bringing in Robbo would be a good move. If not, Kevin MacDonald would be my choice, I don't think he'd give up his Irish and Aston Villa work though. Sergio Makarian would be good also.

Tynecastle........free buses please!
You have to buy a ticket in the Hertz ticket office beforehand. We always get a decent crowd at Tynecastle and Eeaster Road.

BREWSTER SACKED
This had to happen - seven defeats in a row while bottom of the league requires a firing.

fans in-fighting
I mentioned the Ian Black stuff in my match report. PCAs are part of the modern game and it's a waste of time to abuse someone because of signing one. As long as players perform and give a good effort they should be supported.

So, as it stands...
Rory was awful against Morton, absolutely terrible. It was one of the worst performances I've seen from a Caley player.

Elvis
Pressley is over-rated. He was brutal for Celtic in his final season there and was always a bit creaky for Scotland. Now that we have Mihadjuks we have a bit of cover - perhaps we'd have been better with experience in Pressley but that ship has now sailed.

Time for change
Good post Harry, pretty much sums up my thoughts. We previously played a cuople of blinders in getting Dargo and Dods in for nothing in the transfer market. Repeating that would be a big task for any manager.

Foreign players
I couldn't care less about the nationalityof our players, as long as they can actually play.

not as such no, but the fact they have up to 10% of the ICT shares certainly does. EVERYONE on here IS behind ICT, and I am greatful for the fact the supporters trust has acted on behalf of over 80% of the fan base to get answers from the club that need to be answered. It doesn't matter if 60 people turned up for the meeting or 6000. The point is, the trust held the meeting to come up with a legitimate statement for the club to answer, and for the fans to finally be heard because quite clearly, especially since brewsters re-arrival, the club seem to think they can survive without their customers. If they were basing their legitimacy on their shareholding, why arrange a meeting via press release? Where do you get the figure of them acting on behalf of 80% of the fanbase from? They were acting on behalf of their members and those who attended that meeting.

Team for Hamilton
No Djebi-Zadi in 'the hole' Renegade? You disappoint me.

An observation.........and some praise!
He was certainly good against the Huns.

Are you serious? Do you really think that the emergency supporters trust meeting precipitated us making three signings? It obviously didn't. I don't think the Supporters Trust meeting has achieved anything. According to posts on here 60 people came to it, the discussion was around whether Brewster should be kept as manager and the majority didn't want him. Now the Trust has released a statement demanding within a week clarification on what the club are doing to keep us in the SPL. Why within a week? What are the Trust expecting? Do they think holding a meeting with a few dozen people gives them the authority to issue deadlines to the club demanding statements?

His old club aren't owned by Vlad, as far as I can make out, although Romanov could have passed on contacts to the club. Was it not Alexander Hleb's brother we were after at one point? First clean sheet since the Aberdeen game - absolutely delighted! Apparently he looked pretty solid, here's to him making a difference in the league.
