Just thought I'd have a look at everyone's favourite site for people with anger problems and missing a brain cell or two, Over The Bridge (and a few on the old Twitter ) -

I was just looked that up. http://ictfc.com/stats/matchdetails.php?id=661 2004 it was. It was Hay for Brechin that was taken off and replaced with Budinauckas (whoever that was!). EDIT - Looks like the game I was referring to earlier was a 2-0 win over Livingston on 30th October 2004, where Fraser replaced Brown at half-time. Interestingly, he also came on for Brown in the 87th minute the Wednesday before in a 2-1 win over Dundee.

Derek Adams has one of those faces you'd never tire of slapping. He's a moron. That is all.

I was in a great position to see the penalty and have since seen it back on Alba. A stonewaller.

I was thinking the same thing. The only one I could think of was about 2005ish when Brown was changed for Fraser at half-time.

While passion is a good thing, I agree with others that Butcher needs to curb his temper (it's not the first time he's broken stuff, there's a whole chapter in his book dedicated to it!) and keep his anger under control. In saying that though, he apologised for it and said he'd pay for the damage right after it happened. Seems a bit much the SFA are coming after almost a week later!

So, in answer to your question....no, it probably didn't need the captions and all the rest of it, but their addition has vastly increased the exposure for this game and ICT in general the last few days, not only with video views being way beyond normal, but also with inflated levels of website visitors, facebook page visitors and twitter followers. I never said it was a bad idea in making a video and it's good that these types of things get the club more exposure in the run up to the game, I just found some of the captions a bit...cringey.
-
I wasn't aware it was called the Caley Thistle Stadium! Did it really need those captions ("We're one family" etc)? I think just having Butcher's message would have been fine, without the other stuff.

Could Meekings do a job at left-back? At least a full-back of some description and from what I've seen, Devine and Warren (who can play anywhere across the defence apparently) is just as good as the regular partnership.
-
While it may look withdrawn in the middle row, my Zdenek Zeman-esque set-up would have him as a far from defensive or withdrawn minded midfielder.
-
Has it not been on the cards for a while that Adams will be heading there? He'll be away from County sooner rather than later I reckon anyway.
-
You could buy a ticket going through the turnstile. Very few games are all ticket for ICT (usually just Celtic and Ross County).

I heard a couple of weeks ago, that the financial problems at Dunfermline are so bad, that they might miss administration all together and go straight into liquidation.
-
I must look particularly rough then!

Need to freshen things up formation-wise IMO. I think the 4-2-3-1 has gone a bit stale and become a bit too predictable. For that reason it's an attacking 4-3-3 for me - Esson Raven Warren Meekings Taylor A.Shinnie Jones Draper Doran Foran McKay Subs - Reguero, Pepper, Ross, Devine, Sutherland, Cooper, Polwarth

Was anyone else searched on the way in to Dens Park on Saturday?

A real pet peeve of mine is the fact that we never really ever press from the front. This could have been very effective yesterday, as Douglas was seemingly injured and barely kicked the ball all game and had that Grassi take every (bar one) goal kick for him. It was the same against Dundee United a few weeks ago. When their keeper or defenders were in possession we just seemed to let them have it. I'd much rather see us put them under pressure. They say Ross County are very good this. Also, has the 4-2-3-1 system and team selection ground to a halt? Of course there are benefits to having a settled team, but has it now gotten to the stage where teams will now exactly how we'll line-up and how to play against us? There doesn't seem to be much momentum just now either and maybe the starting line-up could do with some freshening up. We also never really spring any tactical surprises. Whatever happened to Pepper? On the plus side though, Butcher has started to make changes before the 85th minute, which is nice. I wonder if a switch to a 4-4-2 diamond or 4-3-3 would be of a great benefit to the final push.

I presume he's away scouting again, cause I didn't notice him at the game today.

On the train home now. Very poor display I'm afraid. We should have beaten that mob and often seemed to run out ideas when we got into the final third. In saying that we started alright with Andrew Shinnie hitting the bar and another where the ball bounced around in the box before getting stuck in the mud! The second half was a poor showing from both sides, with ICT looking rather static in possession and on the attack, along with many poor passes. Next week's Highland Derby is the probably the biggest and most important there has ever been. And I for one do not fancy our chances.

It'd be nice if they told us soon, I've got a train to catch!
