  1. I enjoyed it. Bit surreal though seeing an international like Jones playing in what is essentially a public park though! Ryan Christie was good, as was that Connor Pepper and that Polworth runs he's swimming lol! He played well though mind. The keeper pulled off one great save as well. A decent performance.
  2. What's the deal for seating for the Coventry game? Is the whole ground open as normal, or just the Main Stand?
  3. I was looking at the threads recently from the time Brewster was sacked and the amount of people who suggested Bomber Brown to replace him is quite worrying!
  4. According to today's P&J, Butcher reckons Sutherland is the "ideal replacement" for Hayes and "has all the attributes to do well on the wing".
  5. You can for it pay it monthly IIRC.
  6. The chance at 25 seconds where McKay crosses it and Shinnie hoofs it over, I'm sure that's me shouting "GET IN THE BOX!" lol

Does anyone know how to get to Muir of Ord Rovers' stadium/ground/pitch/public park/quagmire? I think I'm gonna go.
  8. I know he's Italian, but his voice doesn't match his appearance at all!
  9. Every person I've heard of who's not renewing there season ticket is doing so due to the god-awful style of football that was played last season.
  10. For me, with the real lack of a clinical striker up front, and the fact that Hayes has gone means that a more narrow approach should perhaps be taken. For me the way to go is with a straight 4-3-3, moving Doran up top. For me - Esson Meekings Hogg Warren Shinnie Jones Shinnie Foran/Draper Doran Sutherland McKay
  11. What's the deal with the seating for Saturday? Will the whole ground be open, or will it just be the Main Stand?
  12. Apparently di Stefano is trying to get the FBI involved now. That man is bonkers!
  13. I've said it before and I'll say it again, "winning football" or the current style of playing not to get beat, does not put people through the gates. Attacking, entertaining football with will and passion, does.
  14. Yes. Chances are though, they've bought that seat and will be sitting there. It's not really a very difficult concept to understand.
  15. That's what happens when you play boring football.
  16. What about the Fraser save?
  17. Of course it does. Those sits will be being sat on by those who've bought them!
  18. Maybe he'll go to Crawley?
  19. I only wear stuff that makes me look cool!
  20. So you can only be a "true fan" if buy the shirts then? Doesn't matter how many games you go to or how much money you spend supporting the club, it all comes down to whether you buy the shirt or not! There's nothing worse than a self-proclaimed uber-fan.
  21. How did McKay and Sutherland get on?
  22. My view of the game was that Elgin looked to me like a really good team. I won't be surprised if they have another good season actually, with the number 14 at right wing being very impressive and what about Miller the number 12! He must be the biggest human being I've ever seen! I thought ICT were alright, but really need someone who can lead the line up top. McKay tries hard, but if he's got no-one to work with, he may as well stay at home. Sutherland is another one - puts the effort in but is quite simply not a winger. Graeme Shinnie was quite good as was Doran and I think that this Draper fellow might come on to a good game. Ross also did well. Simon King seemed solid enough and while not the biggest of centre-halves seems to be able to distribute the ball well from the back in a similar manner to the way Golobart did last season. Sadly though I can't say the same for Raven. I thought he was rotten. Overall an alright display against a decent and hard working Elgin team, but while I know that Butcher says the signings are up for this window, a striker is still really needed.
  23. It's a bit strange looking and is a bit too much of a mish-mash for my liking. Always preferred the stripes mind.
  24. As if The Sun would make things up!
