Team for Celtic
I'm usually quite sure of the team/set-up that I'd favour when these threads come up. Not this time though - I don't know whether the best option is to attack and at least have a go, or damage limitation.

Not cool.

Ticket Info - Dundee Utd
I know it's a little off topic but I was looking at going to the Celtic-ICT game a week on Saturday. An unrestricted view ticket is, and no I'm not joking, ?26! I repeat - ?26! And I see there's barely any concessions either unless your under 16 or a pensioner, and even then their prices are still pretty steep. Ridiculous pricing by Celtic. Looks like Dundee United have the right idea though.

I was calling for ICT to sign him months ago!

Team for Dundee United
Esson Piermayr Tokely Golobart G. Shinnie Davis Tansey Ross Tade Foran Chppendale Subs - Tuffey, Morrison, McKay, Gillet, Hogg, Sutherland, A.Shinnie Have David Proctor and/or Andrew Greig on the bench if one or more of the above is missing. I'm sure I read somewhere that Chippendale can play up front as well (he's certainly fast enough), so I've got him as one of the wider in men in the three man attack.

Dani Sanchez
I good deal for both parties IMO.

I liked Tade's wee dance when he scored!

I think that's Kosovo you're thinking of.

ICT -V- Hearts : Matchday Thread
All in all, I suppose it was a good result, but I'm a little disappointed as ICT really deserved to win that game. Unlike others, I thought Andrew Shinnie was okay, but his brother had a great game. Of the rest, I thought defensively Golabart looked good but he does seem a little prone to being too fancy which is something that could lead to some difficult situations. Foran played quite well, but he really needs to stop mouthing off all the time (some said around me that he should of been off for an elbow on a Hearts player in what he was eventually booked for, but I nor the referee seemingly saw it). I thought Tade was very good again, as was Davis who I think has potential and Chippendale seems a not particularly tall, but very fast and nippy winger. Nick Ross had a very quiet first half but showed good composure on the ball and showed his effort when putting the Hearts keeper under pressure, in what eventually led the goal - that goal was as much goal his as it was Tade's. What I would say though, while he played quite well today, I do think he's a better player when he's down the middle. Morrison I felt did very little and perhaps should have been hooked instead of Davis. What I would say on Tade and his chances - I don't there was much more he really could've done to score those today, as they were both stopped by two good saves by the keeper. It should also be noted that Adam Rooney had a period when he first got a good run in the team in the 1st Division where he was mentioned in the same vein as Tade is now - "can't take his chances", but his time came and I believe Tade's will too. Overall a good result, but it could and should of been more.

I see John Sutton has been told he has no future at Hearts. Would he come? Could the club afford him? Would he be any good? I do seem to recollect CC trying to bring him in at one point - might want to stay down central belt way though.

Team fer Hearts
Golobart deserves to keep his place after his good performance against Killie IMO.

ICT LEGENDS v THE CURRY HOOSE
Slightly off topic, but nevermind, what ever happened to the proposed ICT v Ross County charity game that was going to be scheduled? Some may recollect talk of that happening and IIRC it was going to be held during this international break. I take it that's dead in the water then?

ICT -V- Kilmarnock : Matchday Thread
I must say, I think Tade had one of the best individual performances I have seen by an ICT player for a number of years - he really was excellent. I must say as well, IMO Golobart's distribution of the ball from the back is the best there has been here since Bobby Mann was on the go. It's good to have a centre half who likes to play it out for once - not just a mindless hoof up the park.

Febian Brandy
There is a slight difference in so much that while McDonald was at Arsenal, he only played at youth level before being punted to Ipswich - Brandy was in the actual team, but never played a game for the first team. He's also played for the England U20s. Thing to notice as well is that he isn't much of a goal scorer at club level - 8 goals in 59 games at club level - 8 goals in 17 games internationally.

Febian Brandy
If Football Manager is anything to go by, then he is very very fast.

Team fer Killie
If those are the players who are starting tomorrow, I wonder if the line-up is more something like this - Esson Piermayr Golobart Hogg Shinnie Sutherland Tokely Morrison Doran Tade Foran

Last nights debacle
Who would that be then? Caledonian108 or Northersum on P&B I suppose you are referring to? What about on here - Birdog? Bridge and Castle? DALNEIGHCALEY?

Andrew Greig
He is highly rated by the Renegade.

When will our injuries ease up
Yes it's a contact sport, but don't think there could be procedures they are doing in training that could perhaps make players less likely to gain, or receive injuries that do not result from simply tackling? I wonder if they are doing too much too soon or some new fitness regimes and it's having a detrimental effect on some of their bodies - the current injury record seem to suggest that this might well be the case.

When will our injuries ease up
I saw Hayes today all slinged up. Saw Cox and Proctor the other week too - they looked fine.

Ayr v ICT matchnight thread
Moving from my earlier comments on Butcher and running the course etc. Even if Butcher was to go/be sacked today (which I do not support by the way) or any time in the near future, there really isn't anyone out there either waiting in the wings or in general, who would be better and take the job. Jimmy Calderwood? Nah I'd doubt he'd be much better TBH. The return of Robertson? Nah, he's had his time. There's really no-one out there that would take the job and be better than the incumbent. I'll just add as well, that whenever the time comes that Butcher does move on, I won't at all be surprised to see a foreign manager come in. Don't know why, but that's the feeling I get.

Wasn't Richard Hastings' brother the fitness coach?
