  1. This one was maybe a bit better than previous years, but it still wasn't that good. Perhaps it's time they stopped now.
  2. Heard this debate on the radio recently. Was 2000 the last year of the 1990s? Course not. You start at zero, as you would with a new born baby. When a baby is born, it isn't one, it's zero. The same with this stuff.
  3. Sounds to me like there's a few parenting problems in Dornoch...
  4. Really?

  7. I would think that, if this were true, one person, who is currently employed by the club may take over in the interim with another being brought in to assist. Ooh the mystery deepens . More like misery to be honest. Malpas would be perhaps be the worst candidate imagineable for te manager's job. In all honesty, I think I'd rather see Brewster back than him.
  8. Aye, I heard about that. He'll be good for them I reckon.
  9. Wasn't that impressed with him yesterday.
  10. For me - Esson Proctor Bulvitis Munro Shinnie Hayes Cox McBain Imrie Foran Rooney Subs - Allison, Djebi-Zadi, Duff, Sanchez, Odhiambo/Eagle If Hayes is still out, move Imrie to the right, with Djebi-Zadi coming into left back with Shinnie moving to the midfield.
  11. He certainly has the leap and size to be a fairly capable defender, but does anyone else think Rooney might look the part as a fairly decent centre-half?
  12. I must have watched a different game to some people. My MOTM has to be Proctor. He was good on the whole I reckon. Of the rest, I'm surprised that people aren't foaming at the mouth from Lionel's performance. He had a couple of decent moments, but to me looked dodgy a lot of the time and at other times didn't seem interested. Didn't think it was a penalty though. Munro and Bulvitis started out a bit sloppily, but got more solid as time went on. Esson did fairly well as well for the whole game. Cox was okay but missed a glaring opportunity. When the ball went loose, he had to hit the target, he he kept the ball don so it would've been at goal level, he would've scored. I wasn't impressed by Duff at all. Odhiambo didn't do much, and Foran had a quiet game, while Sanchez did okay, but only has one foot. And how did he miss that chance? I couldn't believe it when it went wide. Rooney took his goal well, but by God is he slow. Of the subs, Eagle did okay, as did Imrie but the latter still seems to have a rather high opinion of his own skill. Why doesn't Butcher still constantly go with these long ball tactics, especially in the first half? They quiet simply don't work. The second half performance was a little better, but not overly great. And why aren't the wingers on the correct sides? It just doesn't make sense. BTW - Did anyone notice that Number 2 for Dundee? Looked like he was going to die at one point, and then came back on and was fine. Shocking.
  13. I think he's blown it.
  14. Bit of a contradiction there no?
  15. HT - ICT 1-0 Dundee FT - ICT 1-2 Dundee ICT 1st scorer - Foran Dundee 1st scorer - Bulvitis (OG) Attendance - 3,974
  16. Have you ever thought of moving to Saudi Arabia?
  17. Wow didn't see that one coming! But seriously, I think it's quiet snazzy. Much better than some of the previous years ones I reckon.
  18. Actually, I've heard that Butcher's on double that every year.
  19. Oh for heaven's sake, it's all forum banter. There's no malicious intent. If I reported every post that "insulted" me, I reporting posts every second day.
  20. Oh no, not the scary mods!
  21. Oh yeah, "boo hoo" what a dreadful insult that is.
  22. Oh calm down, I'm sure it's not been that bad.
  23. Not neccecarily. I bet you would have said the same about Brewster to Dundee United or Robbo going to Hearts? Eh no, they were far more likely. Do you know Thompson personally or something because for all you know ST may think Butcher has done a good job at us I can't say I do know the man, but I highly doubt he thinks Butcher has done a good job and wouldn't be stupid enough to employ such a managerial disaster. and i just expect Butcher to be linked with any "BIG CLUB" So would you expect Butcher to be linked with the Chelsea and Barcelona jobs the next time they come up? After all, Butcher is a big footballing name, but he won't be linked with any of these clubs, because none of these clubs would not be stupid enough to even consider Butcher for any managerial job with a record like what he has. so i am just giving up on explaining to you. By the way that is 2 post slating me when i asked for NONE and it annoys me frankly . Oh boo hoo
  24. So.... In the unlikely event that you ever found yourself in his position what would you do? I would stay at Dundee United.
  25. I don't think anyone really cares if you keep making these "rumour" threads or not. First of all, it isn't a rumour. Why is it in the "Rumour Mill"? If anything it should be in General Nonsense because talking of Butcher going to any of these clubs is quiet simply nonsense. Butcher will not be going to Plymouth, he will also not be going to Dundee United. Why is it you automatically think Butcher is going to be linked with every club under the sun that's manager leaves? These threads are quiet simply, non starters.
