  1. What about getting Hearts up?
  2. The two stripey jerseys put up are cracking! They'd be superb as next season's shirt. Hopefully the club'll go for something in that vein and not something that rivals that awful swoosh jersey from a few years back and the season's just finished, which looks like a design you'd find on the fabric of Megabus seats!

Maybe there's a reason it's been largely forgotten on the whole? Saying prayers to soon to be dead animals, aye that'll do a lot of good!

Saying a prayer to an animal before it gets slaughter! Who comes up with these ideas?!
  5. Think I'm right in saying that Cameron Mackay, Jason Brown and Alistair Sutherland still have another year to go on their contracts.
  6. There's no way Proctor's Premiership level anymore. He was a good player in his day, but he's was well on the way down by the time he left.
  7. Wow those two are cracking! I'm sure they'll sell out at the Woolies in Dingwall in no time!
  8. Don't you people know that Ross County are the biggest club in the world and have loads of fans, especially in Inverness and everyone in Inverness hates ICT, even the ones that go to games and had the two clubs not merged, Caley and Thistle would have been the biggest clubs ever and have really big supports, because afterall, the Caley and Thistle got 100,000 at every game?! Eight players promoted to the U20 squad. http://ictfc.com/news/team-news/1292-eightsome-reel Also confirms that Fraser was right. Conor Pepper, Adam Evans, Jay Cheyne, Nick Draper, Joe Gorman and Matthew Cooper have left the building. No mention of Ben Greenhalgh.
  10. What'll we do about a third shirt? Poor County won't have to change to their away kit at home will they?!
  11. I seem to recollect someone on here a while ago hinting that the Caley Stadium would soon be getting a scoreboard. Any truth in that?
  12. I see in that interview, Hughes wants to play as many Highland League sides as possible and playing as many as ten matches, including two home friendlies. That and the Elgin game means that it'll be about seven games against Highland League teams. Presumably that'll be Clach, Brora, Forres, Wick and a few others. Personally, I'd hope Nairn are one of them. They have a nice wee ground, a decent team from what I've seen and for some reason we haven't played them for years. Wonder if Fort William would be an option? That'd be a good away trip! Also, will we ever get round to playing Inverness City? As far as I'm aware, we've never played them in any form and they've done well at their level. An away trip down the Bught would also be an interesting experience!
  13. He'd be a great signing. Whether or not his wage demands would be too high is another matter.
  14. The Stranraer fans weren't in the southern wing, they were in the back of the section behind the away dugout.
  15. Better being a realist...than a pie in the sky thinker, which only leads to disappointment. Probably like all those on here who were talking about ICT winning the league after the first quarter of the season. I stated they were kidding themsellves and that celtic would end up walking the league....which they did. I am a realist. With the players we have, we should be a top six side. No question about it.
  16. With the players we have (as long as the vast majority stay), we should be a top six side next season as well. St Johnstone, Motherwell etc. aren't exactly loaded either and they seem to manage it. Saying "we should really just be happy to stay up" etc., is unambitious and selling ourselves short. It was good to hear the chairman's comments after the game on Sunday which were that should be looking to push on, aim high and better ourselves yet again. That's the attitude we should be taking. We should be looking to go up another level again and this "we should just be happy we're in the Premiership" attitude can be consigned to the dustbin.
  17. I seem to recollect Butcher looking at signing Clarkson a couple of years ago, but found that his wage demands were way too much. Might have changed now though. At least one striker is definitely needed, no question about it. Ainsworth would be a good signing and I'm sure Hughes looked at him a while back but he wanted to stay at Motherwell. Wonder if he's more likely to go down south? Agree though that a fast winger would be good, which leads to the question of Greenhalgh: seems to have done quite well Stenhousemuir (playing up-front apparently) and I was impressed at times when I saw him this season. Could he fill that void?
  18. An older keeper with playing time still left in him? That'll be Ryan Esson then!

Just the brand name looks fine, but the slogan would look a bit naff IMO.
  20. Remember we played County three times last seasons, only once at home on New Years Day when many fans of both sides couldn't get there. We also only played Celtic once at home this season as well, which must affect the figures.
  21. We don't need any new keepers. We don't need any new defenders. We don't need any new midfielders. We need one, maybe two more strikers, preferably one being a taller one. We could maybe do with one player with electric pace (Greenhalgh?). That's about it.

Hopefully it'll be this type of sponsor over the fabric.
  23. Renegade replied to Big G's topic in Caley Thistle
Hopefully that's just a sticker stuck on and the real thing will look a lot better. Hopefully....

Wonder how the sponsor will affect the shirts? Will the sponsor be full colour on the home shirts, or will it be a white clear kind of thing? I'm not sure a yellow and green sponsor would go well with a red and blue shirt! And what about the away shirt? A yellow and green sponsor on a black and red shirt will just look bizarre!
