  1. I don't know if he was ever officially a "trialist" or rather our shortest ever signing, but whatever happened to Harry Hooman? You may remember that he either did or was going to signing with us and started pre-season training last year along with the other batch of new signings (Greenhalgh, Williams, Watkins etc.), but then had a problem with a metal plate in his foot. I've tried looking to see where he is now, but he seems to have disappeared into the midsts of time.
  2. It's someone who was quite prominent on this site once before. Think of a prominent namesake and work your way round there. For what it's worth, I used to think Dougal said a few things that ruffled a few feathers but weren't far off the truth. It's become a bit sad lately. Laurence, I haven't seen around for while, but when he does, he strikes me as such an unpleasant man.
  3. I had a look in the Press and Journal today and it featured a report on the match between Aberdeen and Brechin. I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like him in the photo playing for Brechin. I looked at the squad list as well, but most of the Brechin team were trialists. Maybe that's where he's off to.
  4. I'm sure we played Clach in that swoosh jersey with a white Orion thing stuck on. Remember Blumenshtein playing that day and thinking he looked really good!
  5. I remember the first game after we got promoted in 2010, the new kit hadn't yet been unveiled and we wore the previous season's jersey with Orion stuck on over the Flybe sign. Wouldn't be surprised if he did the same thing again. Any else remember that time the shirts didn't turn up for ages and we played almost a whole pre-season in training gear?
  6. You've never been to The Rangers away, have you?
  7. We should sue them! Boo to the name stealers!
  8. You mean the house thingy? Correct.
  9. I actually had an inkling the day that a new signing was imminent. I may be wrong though (have a look at the ICT Twitter page!).
  10. I think I've cottoned on to who Dougal is actually. I'm not going to name names, but once you realise who it is, it becomes fairly obvious.
  11. There must be something up with Dean McDonald. Including a loan spell at Grays Athletic, this his 12th club since leaving us. That's roughly two new clubs a year. He was at four different clubs in 2009 alone! He was absolutely hopeless mind! Probably one of the worst ever players I've seen play for us in terms of all round ability.
  12. This reminds of me a few years ago when we were crying out for a tall dominating centre-half to sit alongside Grant Munro and Brewster signed Lionel Djebi-Zadi and proclaimed that that would be the only defensive signing of the pre-season. That was nonsense and this is nonsense. It's as clear as day that we need another striker. We still have scouts down south and probably elsewhere. Why haven't we been scouting to see who was coming out of contract? Why don't we look at who is out of contract and bring them up on trial? Have we looked at who's available on a free? Claiming the team is fine as it is, is nonsense. Remember here people. We are managed by a manager who, when he was manager of Livingston, claimed that the score didn't matter to him - all that mattered what that they "played good football". I'm starting to get worried that Hughes does not look at ICT as a club to bring forward and achieve success, rather a project to show Scottish football that this tiki taka tooky wooky stuff can be played in Scotland.
  13. Not "really" a friendly, but I see we've been drawn away to Clach in the North of Scotland Cup.
  14. A worrying plan IMO.
  15. I asked my dad about this the other day and he also says that it rings a bell with him. Didn't know anymore about it though.
  16. I actually thought he had a bit of talent actually and maybe could've come good. Hughes didn't seem to rate him much though. Wonder if he'll disappear into the lower echelons on the English game now.
  17. I heard stories that he was in clubs in Glasgow (The Garage I think, which I believe is some kind of outstanding establishment) ripping up tenners in-front of people. Wouldn't be surprised if that's true.
  18. Wish to point out that i said this months ago
  19. A reporter from the Press and Journal has tweeted saying Greenhalgh has been released.
  20. Tony Watt's a total ned apparently. Same with Goodwillie. Might come good, but could be a disruptive character with baggage we don't need.
  21. I bet England would've done better if all us bigoted hum drum kilt-wearers up here in Jockville had been good neighbours and supported our southern superiors.
  22. Shinnie and Robson played for ICT five years apart!
  23. Saw him play against us last August at Tannadice. He was hopeless!
  24. This reminds me of that documentary Grizzly Man!
  25. The thing was though, there was one poster who used to throw the toys out of the pram on a regular basis and go on big rampages about being "hated" and "targeted". The fact of the matter was, the red dots were deserved - the points he was making was 99 times out of 100 nonsense (I see he's changed his name now by the way). If we're going to have a "like" system where everything and anything can a popular opinion, then it would be nice if there was a way to counteract it. Would it not be possible to block the regular meltdowners from seeing it?
