  1. Yeah.... :sillywave:
  2. It would certainly be an interesting appointment..... :024: I still can't believe he's on record as saying he would be interested in this one... What would attract a character like that, with his impressive CV to Inverness and the SPL...?
  3. I hadn't seen these clips before - It's enough to convince me he could very well be the man for the job...!!! :022:
  4. We all enjoyed that - one of the highlights of last season.... :022: I still wouldn't mind see him have another stab at this one though....
  5. Are you saying you would be happy with a Brewster/Shearer combo..?
  6. You're very cynical, Smee..... :018:
  7. I would suggest Owen Coyle is worthy of more consideration than Malpas. His record at Falkirk was also excellent before he joined St Johnstone... He's also the kind of guy that players have a lot of respect for.... Can we afford to offer Pressley the same kind of money as he is getting at Celtic? I think he is definitely manager material, but how long would it be before any future new owners at Hearts would want him back there? Would Warnock see a move here as long term? Would Robbo be any more reliable second time around? Brewster might be a safe option, and I'm quite sure he would keep us in the SPL, but maybe not much more than that...!! What about Graham Rix? By all accounts desperate to get back into football management.... The more I think about this the more I realise I haven't a feckin clue who would be the best choice... :024: :024:
  8. Rangers FC & Walter Smith might dispute that.... :024:
  9. I could be wrong, Mee - but I've got a wee sneaky suspicion you're not all that keen on Brew.... :023:
  10. He expressed interest in the Caley job last time it came up... David Sutherland said "No Way" at that time... I don't think much has changed since then - strange that - considering he and Brew left under almost identical circumstances.... :024:
  11. :015: I would love to know what relative said that.... :024: His discipline?!? So where does Blackie come under that category?! The only reason Zander isn't getting a game is because of his lack of experience and the fact Charlie didn't quite have the balls to put him on... There's not a problem with his conduct. Coming from an extremely reliable source. Thanks for clearing that up Zander.... Hope we'll see more of you once we are under new management.... :022: :022:
  12. Make yourself look slim & super fit....? :015: :015:
  13. Great news....They obviously read some of my posts yesterday.... :023:
  14. I hope both will be interviewed and considered.... but there are others who shouldn't be dismissed out of hand just yet.... Owen Coyle, Graham Rix, Mixu Pantyliner, Stephen Kenny...... If any of them are interested surely it would make sense to at least speak to them...?
  15. Loyalty's finished, Mee.... It went out the window during the mid-nineties along with communism and Old Labour.... :017: We're are in a whole new era now with New Labour and capitalism, an era in which no one gives a sh!t about anything anymore, except grabbing money..... :rolleyes02:
  16. You must have me mixed up with somebody else...... :symbol_question:
  17. Not only mentioned but quoted as saying he would be very interested.... :014:
  18. I think God would prefer him to remain at Parkhead.... :023:
  19. Wonder if you're getting enough vitamin B1, Alex.... :024: Korsakoff's syndrome Korsakoff's syndrome (Korsakoff's psychosis, amnesic-confabulatory syndrome), is a degenerative brain disorder caused by the lack of thiamine (vitamin B1) in the brain. The syndrome is named after Sergei Korsakoff, the neuropsychiatrist who popularized the theory.
  20. :015: :015: I thot he was yer best mate.... :crazy07:
  21. It might not be progress, but I'm pretty sure he will keep us in the SPL.....
  22. Hmmm - Not too sure about that, Alex..... :024: Wondering too, if you should consider altering your signature thingy.... :029:
  23. It was often said last season by various members of the media - usually after a decent result - That Caley are a good bunch of journeyman pros who are prepared to work hard for, and support one other. That kind of spirit very often results from a scenario in which all are paid roughly similar amounts....
  24. Totally agree with that L_G.... I think everybody's entitled to make one mistake in their lives... I don't think he would let us down again....
  25. SIR ALEX ACCEPTS CALEY POST... Colin Hendry named as his assistant - Immortal Howden Ender appointed as full time psychoanalysist.
