Strangely, early on Saturday morning, I came across Beasley & the other erm, guy Darcheville, gayly clad in tracksuits, doing a spot of loosening up in Fraser Park. (Fraser Park is opposite the Marriot Hotel where the Rangers party were staying) I was walking Shadow, our elderly pooch when the two guys jogged past us... Shadow hates it when anyone goes past him without offering a biscuit and decided to have a wee go at Beasley's ankle..... I'm wondering what kind of impression he now has of Sneck... Whatever tactics you go with you still need to have a few players on the park with some basic footballing skills.... I wouldn't accept that Walter Smith outsmarted CC... in fact it was a poor Rangers' performance on Saturday... The difference is they'll improve as the season wears on by virtue of having some highly skilled players in their squad, and who have yet still to get to know each other..... Tactics, tactics, tactics.... They didn't have any options other than to punt the ball up the park and hope for mistakes from the Rangers defence... Man for man Rangers were far, far superior to us - they had guys who could run with the ball, go past opponents, who could tackle, who could make & receive passes and who could shoot... they were first to every 50:50 ball - light years ahead of us in terms of basic skills.... The difference between our performance yesterday, and the 2-1 game just after Xmas last year, must surely give cause for serious concern....

I agree with the comment about Gretna (above) I just hope we're not going to go through the entire season hoping that whoever we are playing against will be even worse than we are..... :024:

It really is the last thing any "normal" person would want to see in Inverness. These displays of wanton hatred & bigotry have their roots in Glasgow & Belfast and there they should remain... I've just been reading in the Courier that the organisers of this parade deliberately kept the whole thing a secret until last Thursday - claiming that the media always try & stir up controversy over these issues. The march was arranged between the organisers, Highland Council and the police....And yet no one was told about it until two days before it happened... I think the whole thing utterly stinks... I will be contacting Highland Council & the police to make my feelings known.... Why in the name of God do we have to have Rangers & Celtic supporters making complete erses of themselves parading through the streets of Inverness?
