  1. Hey John, in truth he did little right, he did have one great surge down the wing but that is not enough to justify a position. The group I was sitting in thought we were a man short by playing him. Harsh I know, but not his fault, he can be a useful player. I am sure he will look at his contribution and think.....what could I have done better, but I re-iterate, he did nothing wrong, it was out of his hands, he did nothing wrong John, Butcher did the wrong thing by playing him.
  2. Not if we play like we did today, abysmal performance, and anyone else who thinks otherwise is either kidding themselves or winding the County fans up, and I am normally optimistic.
  3. You are havin a laff Johnboy. He was thrown in deeper than he could tread. Fair play to him for being in the right place at the right time, but that does not mean he had a good game. He got a great reception and recognition from the 'notorious' bad boys in the North Stand, but you need help if you think his performance today was above average.........as I said before, that is not a criticism of Nick, but an interrogaton of Terry Butcher. Put out a team next week to play like that and the season is over. I seem to be the bad boy here for the truth, but the real villain is Mr Butcher for his ineptitude, lets hope he gets it right next week. Please Richie, come back soon.
  4. I like that birdy, well said. A lot of folk on here categorically wrote off our chances. Well, we have now given ourselves a chance and we might just take it.
  5. oops, sorry, you are right, I wanted Dani sooo much, but all I got was Stratford....well is he not a Dani as well.
  6. In fairness gordy, Nobody is actually having a go at Ross, the problem was Butcher today. He should never ever have been thrown in at the deep end. I do think Ross can be a decent player for us in months to come, but for christ sake, he was fed to the lions today. Todays team stank of last seasons relegation day offerings. Bully warmed up, Sanchez was too late getting on, whilst Proctor continued to give the ball away at every opportunity. Eric has had better days, although some of his twists and turns were a joy. Aye rig, throw ins are not our strong point.............when God was handing out throwins, we were obviously at the wrong end of the queue.
  7. That was about as poor a performance as we have given all season. Absolutely hapless. The sooner Foran is back the better. We were clueless and Terry Butcher must shoulder the blame for that. I am pleased that Nick Ross scored, but without wanting to be over harsh, he contributed nothing else and the goal was a tap in after great work on the left by Duncan and Rooney. I was embarrassed for Ross, or maybe I should have been embarrassed for Butcher as it was him who selected the side and formation. This was too important a game to throw the youngster into and he was clearly struggling to understand where or what he was supposed to be doing. Anyway enough of the bashing, it was not his fault. We won but thats about it, a great chance to enhance the goal difference blown away on a chilly afternoons stiff breeze. MoM............maybe Golly, but Duncan was once again fabulous. More difficult to select a clear winner this week as there were so many failures, much easier to select them in reverse order. However, only three points behind a crumbling Dundee, now that is a bonus.
  8. To be fair to the opening post, he asks who people prefer, not who they support. I hate both of them, but if Rangers were playing Celtic I would rather Celtic lost, rather than Rangers winning, but in all honesty I don't give a flying fork.
  9. Is this the same Darren Jarvie you asked about 12 posts below. I hold my hands up and say I have never heard of him in all my puff.

  11. Honest, it wisnae me...................they were singing it during the Champios league match B)
  12. Will it echo round the stadiums tomorrow???
  13. Joking aside, I may be alone on this, but good luck to the Gudgies tomorrow, I think they are in with a shout. Can we have Gardyne when you are finished with him?
  14. Cheers ginger, or can I call you Jaggy................we are now covered for this weekend, Granty24 will do the report this weekend, I have done a preview. Send me a pm with your County stuff and I will put it forward for the main site. Granty may also want to do one so send them in and we will see how it goes.
  15. Budding journalists, where have you all gone. This looks like being an exciting run in to the title and with games coming up thick and fast we really need to keep the the previews and reports coming thick and fast. Young Granty24 and Hislopsoffsideagain have been doing a great job getting some work online, but are there any others willing to share the burden??? Anyone wanting to help out stick yer name down for the final push. Please don't put your name down if you are not going to offer anything. Me.
  16. I agree Johnboy, but only when the time is right. The season is at a critical stage now and the introduction of one or both of these youngsters would be a fair weight on their young shoulders. When all is lost or the title is won, then by all means give them a game, but right now we need bottle.
  17. Johnboy will be happy. Don't see this anywhere else so thought I'd give you a heads up. Story here on Official Site. Good signings for the future of this club.

What would you call somebody who tosses a coin?
  19. Mayfair would be somewhere like Carnarc Crescent.

  21. Right guys, the topic is headed as 'official' for feedback to enable everybody to move forward. Off to PM for your discussion over the merits of each others posts.
  22. The topic is about first division game coverage. No mention of ICT in the title or opening post. People can read the whole forum. Should make no difference which forum the topic is in. This subject comes up every so often, sometimes more ICT related such as Alba Cup Final coverage etc. The other topics are more current and will provoke responses centered round ICT...such as SPL expansion would benefit us and such like, the radio one was pertinent to that evenings game. I should not have to justify the reason for moving the topic as it seems fairly obvious, but seeing as you asked, that is my reply. If you want to appear on the ICT forum, then start a topic specifically about ICT or the players etc, there are plenty of topics waiting to be discussed. enjoy.
  23. Too many sad people on here. County for the aforementioned extra games and also for the sake of football North of the central belt. I think Hibs might be in for a surprise anyway and if County don't beat them first time, they might just take them North and stuff them. Remember, Hibs have a poor record up here, only scoring once against us and a couple of draws.
  24. It is a blow, but better to get the games without him out of the way now and have him for the run in. Sanchez, McBain, Eagle, Lionel.....................I would imagine Dani will get the nod.
  25. I would have said this one. We sort of came unexpectedly from nowhere to win it last time, and we were not one of the favourites. This time we are hovering in the zone, just off the pace, but we have a team well capable of pulling it off.
