  1. Could someone add two fat wallets into the jackets of the two smiling Hibee saviours!!
  2. Fair play, that's what I say. Let's see what happens in the next few weeks with their season ticket sale targets. Even at a distance it is easy to see why supporters are reluctant to invest good money without transparency on the security. Also, it might be late May before they discover whether Terry Butcher will be gracing Ibrox next season with his brand new Hibs team.
  3. Come on the Jambos!! Agent Butcher 'We want everyone associated with Hibernian ....to implement a winning mindset' Sir Rod Petrie of Oblivion 'He inherits a talented squad of players....' 'Terry is vastly experienced in Scottish football and an outstanding leader of men.' 'We've appointed a first class management team to deliver continued success..'. We believe Ross County will stay up with another last day victory over Butcher's boys - how ironic that could be!!!
  4. Hamill is quite a character but the sending off will weaken Hearts in their vital derby game next Sunday. Doubt if Hamill would have run into Butcher without blood being spilt! Just gives Adams a small club!
  5. Simple. Doran has been injured for a while and most likely Watkins had some too.
  6. Great passing game by ICT tonight with a tremendous will to win. Great football match to watch and we rightly won. Our players now have two weeks to freshen up and bounce back.
  7. Financially!! http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2014/04/02/colorado-rapids-announce-signing-austrian-defender-thomas-piermayr
  8. Hibs was a pre-retirement soiree, better pay, more personal publicity, more wine bars, closer to East Anglia. In other words a cushy number with much bigger crowds.........................unless on the last day they play Hearts to avoid the play off spot...
  9. The difference between Pat Fenlon and Terry Butcher is that Fenlon was trying to avoid local derbies against Hearts next season. Butcher, the true Ranger, seems desperate to keep the derby next season.
  10. Foran has loose bone in his knee. As Yogi said, this may need an operation. Tansey took a knee knock against St Mirren so neither may be available.
  11. Still a better season than last! If Hibs get to the play off spot that will create the icing on the cake!
  12. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/taxi-driver-dresses-up-paisley-3100103 Dodgy keeper in for St Mirren!! http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/289511/preview
  13. With all due respect this season has already outdone last year in terms of success - against bigger odds! Get behind the whole club to see if we can secure a place in Europe or beat last year's points total - 6 to go to equal it. In retrospect, we lost our way because of the pressure of the Cup Final.
  14. http://www.hibs.net/showthread.php?280521-Butcher-Today/page4 They were quite cocky when they poached him and his management team from us for perhaps £100k - thanks Rod - but now they seem a little unsure!! It was a risky move by butcher slating players and telling them too move on early doors and it's back firing as we now have a team in free fall.
  15. Butcher is a man who likes his history. At ICT he almost saved us from relegation and then got us relegated on 37 points. Hibs are currently on 34 points but the message to their players appears to be - ''12 of you are out of contract next year, we will completely rebuild''. The players are probably thinking - ''fair enuff Guv, you sort this out yersel''. If Hearts win next weeks derby, Hibs then play Aberdeen before the split. Two consecutive defeats and the mighty Butcher might be on his way south after Hibs AGM next October. As Billy Dodds yesterday said, if they lose the last two games before the split, the sides in the bottom then target Hibs for the play off spot. 37 points was for the 12th team so the 11th team might need more than 38!! 12 November 2013 ''As he revealed his first job at Easter Road will be to inspire passion and put fight into a team widely derided as soft touches under a succession of managers, the former Inverness Caley Thistle boss admitted: ‘At this moment in time, people playing against Hibs probably think they have a good chance of three points.'' 11 March 2014 ''Hibs boss Terry Butcher warns players he'll make them walk home from Highlands if they don't produce in Inverness'' He accepts the criticism from the stands but insists there’s nothing he can do when the players so abjectly fail to put his plans and ideas into action. “But the players are doing things and you’re thinking, ‘Why and how are you doing that? You’re not showing that in training, you don’t do that in other games.” 21 March 2014 ''After last week’s defeat at Firhill, Butcher threatened to fill his team with young players and while he is likely to resist that temptation against St Johnstone he said: “There will be changes.Whether that’s young or old, whether that’s a different shape or whether’s its different personnel remains to be seen.“But I expect a good reaction and I’m confident I’ll get one.” '' 22 March 2014 As promised Butcher swung the axe in the wake of defeat by Partick Thistle, making six changes. Result - Super Saints stroll past hapless Hibs
  16. Looks like tomorrow could be a crowd pleaser - we will almost certainly go for all out attack!!! Celtic have set a record for not conceding goals, we do not want the other record.
  17. No one seems to have acknowledged this tremendous achievement!!
  18. Has anyone set the Highland curse on Hayes, Robson and Rooney?
  19. Regardless of tickets sold, beware of the Diddy Team. Our time has come and our voices will be heard.
  20. League Cup is the first available option - so take it if it comes. Europe might still be available for fourth place if Aberdeen finished second but won the Scottish Cup. It could still be fourth if Motherwell dropped away and Dundee United overtook ICT and won the Scottish Cup. Only Sunday matters - we cannot get relegated this season so let's just do it!
  21. Look guys, Aberdeen have already won the cup, will have an easy game against Dumbarton today, have second spot in the League sown up, have the most inform striker in the league in Rooney, but this is a great chance to see ICT in their first national final.
  22. Looks like Meekings is quite fond of Garry!!
  23. I want three points off them in April 2014 and then want them to sack Adams but survive by the skin of their teeth!!!
  24. Was there. We were outclassed. This may though go down as the greatest result of our season. Next Sunday's game is very important. The Cup Final is important. We are virtually certain to be in the Top 6. Only Hibs can catch us and that is very unlikely. We will respond. Celtic are out of both cups and have the League only to concentrate on. They responded like dynamite from their Aberdeen loss. They gambled £1,000 on Van Dijk's appeal. They were up for celebrating Fergus McCann saving them from disaster. We lost Doran who would have given them some extra worries. History.
  25. http://www.goal.com/en-gh/news/4351/africa/2014/02/27/4650243/eric-odhiambo-sets-the-bar-high-at-sligo-rovers Odiambo hat trick on his debut
