  1. A very talented and experienced player, and coach. That's Butcher and Malpass bettered by both.
  2. Treats players as disposable commodities..........................
  3. Three miserable Dutch lads at County sucked in by fools gold!!!
  4. As captain he has to cover every blade of grass so he has no current set position. He was magnificent against Abwerdeen and we need him to keep that standard up for quite a few weeks until Richie becomes available again.
  5. Aye, that worked really well after last years Wilson saga eh. Kingbeastie - tongue in cheek!
  6. We should check the rule book. Surely if he was sent off Sunday at that point in time his suspension applied to the Ross County and ICT games? The SFA should have notified Hearts yesterday of this fact. If does have a touch of Elgin about it but is clearly not the first time this has happened. We though have to beat Kilmarnock this weekend and then start analysing who we have available or who we need to mark closely when we play Hearts.
  7. With any luck Stevie May seems far more likely to be snapped up given his current form and allow Billy to complete his business with ICT.
  8. It was that spirit throughout the team that won the game. Until Butcher and Malpass were very much on Hibs radar, the team had developed that approach in every game. Then in St Johnston it deserted them. As we know it was just after the Hibs AGM when they sack managers and line up the next 'I can do it Rod!' The team have been a bit inconsistent ever since but the manner of the victory has the potential to refocus the targets. Consequentially the Killie game is potentially much harder and whoever plays in it, must adopt the same 'get my body in the line of fire' approach. It is the difference between winners and losers basically.
  9. Hibs.net are technically correct in a Clintonesque legal point of view. All the other bigger clubs he 'mis-managed'!!!! He was sacked at all of them.
  10. A draw would create real tensions at the end of extra time!!
  11. In the end Ben Greenhalgh looked the part too. Conor was like a little tiger at right back.
  12. Coward then. What message does it send to players?
  13. Who would want to play for Mister Motivator? Yesterday - Butcher added: "We only had six subs because some were injured and I felt others didn't deserve to be on the bench. "There's a few players in the first half whose performances said to me 'I'm not good enough gaffer, get someone else in'. "I can't do that in January, but I'll do that in the summer. That was not acceptable. That was awful. "They were going to have Monday off, but I've got them in now and I'm going to work them hard. "It's baffling as to where that performance came from." Who in their right mind would be motivated by such a person??? Even Derek Adams is not that demotivating or is he?
  14. A looser - throwing in the towel instead of trying to save what he had created. Great vision by ICT to spot that amongst other weaknesses in his character.
  15. Yogi has actually brought considerable freshness to the squad through the introduction of a range of players and to see Evans get a few minutes also deserves mention. Evans looked far more professional than Toby so here's hoping he gets more game time too and who knows, could help spread goal scoring around a bit. A lesson for all football supporters - never get too cocky. Aberdeen's bubble was growing and I think they thought they had an easy three points against a 'weakened' ICT team. Yogi said 'bring it on' and the team found their early season principles of putting themselves in the firing line in defence whilst at the other end Aberdeen's back four was amazingly shaky. Aberdeen's supporters shouted 'stand up for the champions' with the ICT supporters thinking who do they mean? Are they now honoring Celtic? Big and difficult period coming up for ICT but special thanks to Ross County for their assistance yesterday.
  16. Good move. He will want to prove he's improved. A lot of players at Stevenage are on the move so it looks like a club with a few problems.
  17. Checking his angles in the two penalty boxes. He looked really sharp against United and will want to improve.
  18. http://www.clarets-mad.co.uk/feat/edb1/through_the_floods_to_yeovil_821349/index.shtml Ings and Vokes scored the goals, our very own Little and Large; Ings’ an absolute beauty when he picked up the ball maybe 30 yards out and let fly and it went like a rocket into the far corner. It was so stunning; blink and you missed it. Vokes’ was the result of quick thinking by Marney when he picked up on a Yeovil error and the resultant ball across the box was neatly converted by the Big Man about 10 seconds later. Ings’ strike must surely be a contender for one of the goals of the season. Alas speculation mounts regarding his future in direct relation to every goal he scores. Meanwhile Billy McKay scored again for Inverness.
  19. Again, have to agree with IHE. Aberdeen are on a real high at present so against a weakened ICT side should find it easy. Once our suspensions are over we get down to serious business. We have to get a good result at Killie, must not underestimate Hearts and certainly not Stranraer. Richie may be back in the mix of these games and his injury and absence has been a factor in our poor form.
  20. Should be told to go away. We have spent good money getting him back to fitness. He should say go away too. When Butcher cut his head the big baby put a bandage on. Yogi just got on with things Sunday. Vincent should do the same.
  21. Remember that after next week's game will will have Warren and Draper back and on zero bookings. Against Aberdeen we will have Devine in the Centre. We play Killie away which will be a challenge. Watkins should be fit with Richie possibly ready for the Semi. Vincent may be back early February. We may sign someone soon. Circumstances have contributed to the dip.
  22. It would be irresponsible of the SFA to allow a club that may well be liquidated to sign new players. It would be also subject to legal claims from other clubs if it broke the rules. Hearts could give up now or like Dunfermline, Dundee and Rangers try to get out the other end - and learn the lesson of not spending beyond their means to achieve ''false'' success. I bet they still beat us in the Semi unless we take a robust and fair view.
  23. Good news
  24. Can I suggest everyone focuses on getting out the maximum support for the Dundee United game and throwing themselves 110% behind the club and team.
  25. To be fair to Toby, I thought he added some bite against Ross County. Lack of games will make it hard for any player to establish themselves in any team. Probably a big challenge for ICT weighing up how realistic it is that they might receive a big bid for Billy and finding themselves without Toby and Billy if the offer is a good one.
