  1. Best transfer fee in the window with Billy!!

  3. Modern day Iain Stewart!! Good news I hope.

  5. Jim Goodwin would have felt aggrieved if the notice had not been served. I actually felt Cifti's aggressive push on Shinnie into Meekings in the first half was potentially very dangerous too. There again, grabbing Shinnie by the neck and assaulting a linesman was deemed a minor offence in the League Cup. It is tempting to say he will get what he deserves but his Manager needs to take a long hard look at his coaching and management skills and approach too.
  6. Yogi was a male model!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. There were two dangerous incidents involving Cifti - neither involved him grabbing the linesman by the throat as we clearly saw in Inverness (it was right in front of me) and for which he got off amazingly lightly. The first where he blatantly shoves Shinnie into Meekings. That had real potential for injury and went unpunished. The second is clearly leading with the elbow on Warren.
  8. Cheaty was at it all night. It was reminiscent of Magennis on the Saturday. Two players committing numerous fouls and the referee picking on those committing one foul. Christie booked for a shirt pull and others tripping him quite dangerously and not even getting a lecture. Ciftci did significant refereeing himself. Warren's first booking was like a mob attack on the referee by the United players. Murray clearly had not seen the offence or else he would have taken action had there been reason. I would love to see his report ...'Booked Paton and then after pleas from the United players I decided to book Warren as well. Not sure why. I did not see any offence.' I always feel refereeing is a difficult job but Murray last night did not have things under control.
  9. Unbeaten in 2015. Let's not lose that record on Tuesday night.
  10. The three trialists watched the game today.
  11. He nearly signed for Southend but went to the wrong departure airport. Maybe some of the now departed County Dutch contingent convinced him that Tain had a cheap Airport so he could just be waiting for his flight.
  12. Update: Auditors raise new 'going concern' questions over Rangers' engine room company 17 February 2015 http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/home-news/auditors-raise-new-going-concern-questions-over-rangers-engine-room-company.118632960 ''Whyte and his associate, Aiden Earley, have argued that former chief executive Charles Green was working alongside them and that they, consequently, are the rightful owners. Rangers directors have consistently insisted the claims are of no merit.''
  13. Very tough game next Saturday. Killie do look a very good side and their result against Dundee United was very good.
  14. Disaster!! Why could it not have been yon Celtic Manager? St Mirren have not won at home all season and will think 'the curse' will hit ICT again.
  15. About 12 points off safety!!
  16. Jimbo is on a bit of a shoogly peg at the moment. This week he is predicting 'Ross County are good enough to survive' and ' has admitted his team must start picking up points quickly'. Ironically Jim and Diddy Doddsy joined the wee County with 'The duo inheriting a County side who prop up the standings after losing their opening five matches. County’s next match is at home to third-bottom Motherwell on Saturday.' Since then they have gone round in a big circle and let other teams escape from them. Whilst we have to be really on our toes against St Mirren, County will be in quite serious trouble if they lose to Motherwell for the second time under Jimbo. After their annual culling of and then recruitment of players even their chairman agrees that in future they will try and follow the example of their neighbours and seek stability. That would suggest that Jimbo will be safe if as seems likely they get relegated. The problem for them next season is that they may have to recruit vitually a full squad. So the new dynamic duo might just start almost from scratch. Before the Aberdeen game Jimbo ''...concedes that Ross County cannot afford to slip further behind in the race to avoid relegation.'' Requero messed up that message by gifting Rooney with a poke in. In between Adams exit and McIntyre's appointment they lost 4-0 to Hamilton with the Daily Record saying 'County, a disparate, leaderless bunch of wandering soldiers, looking like they still needed name badges to find out who they were passing to.' Out of sympathy, we gave them two precious points this season in an attempt to stabilise them but they seem incapable of repaying that gratitude and surviving. Are there any ICT supporters who believe County are good enough to survive this season?
  17. Raith are unbeaten since 27th December 2014. Malpass joined them on the 26th!!!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30604216

  19. The obvious conclusion Holmes, is that this man has an imbalanced Crystal ball.
  20. Who cares about the BBC. We have to plan for Raith.
  21. Maurice Malpas returns!! We must not underestimate them. They played very well yesterday and shocked Hibs last year. A cracking draw all round with Hibs the favourites to reach the Semi Finals.
  22. Billy has missed a shed load of similar chances to Marley. Billy was not good one on one. Marley worked massively hard against Partick. Billy was latterly a very hard worker. Marley's pace caused Partick hell. Billy was no where near as fast. Marley won a lot of headers. Billy is shorter than him and won less headers. Marley demonstrated some amazing close control against Partick. Like Billy he ran himself into the ground but I suspect he covered a lot more ground than Billy did in his second year with the club. Expect Marley to get a Wales call up if he keeps scoring. Yogi would have been delighted with Marley's performance and in the weeks ahead will work with him to improve his goal return. I suspect Danny Devine has been winding Gary up to get booked more often!! His 6 minutes or so substitute appearance probably did his confidence a lot of good after months of patience on the bench. Out of interest, who was the second 'lunatic' doing cartwheels with Gary behind Greg for the post match video!! Yogi has clearly drummed it into the players 'do as I say, not as I did!!!'
  23. Inverness Thistle 3-0 Kilmarnock Scottish Cup 3rd round, February 9th 1985. From http://www.axis32.dsl.pipex.com/programmes.htm : ''I was only 12 years old when I watched this match but the result and the 2500 crowd made it a match I will never forget. Dave Milroy put Jags 1-0 up with a header in the 36th minute. In 79 mins. it was 2-0 with Gordon Hay knocking the ball over the head of the Killie keeper and then heading it into the open goal. The third goal came in the 84th minute from Brian Fraser, substitute only on the park for a few seconds, when he fired the ball into the net from a tight angle. Unsurprisingly the Killie fans were none to happy with their teams performance and after the final whistle had blown they proceeded to throw their scarves onto the pitch in disgust! The sight of all those blue and white scarves strewn over the Kingsmills Park turf was a sight to behold........it was just like playing against Caley !!! '' Killie seem to sack Managers around the same date too!!!
  24. Some very tough Championship teams through. Raith are a very good cup team.
  25. Richard Foster just lays it on a plate for Nade....
