Dougie Imrie
Can we clone him with Bannerman and create a dynamic left footed goalscorer with great skill too?

"Jobs for the boys"
The guy has a job to do digging us out of the hole created by Brewster so we are concentrating on 110% support. If it goes pear shaped you'll see a change. The heading should read 'Jobs for the Boys and Girls' because Mrs Butcher and Mrs Malpass have been asked to move to the fresh Highland air too. Their contribution to our recovery plans are vital too.

Strachan
One of the funnys yesterday was Knackeredmura who kept looking at the substitutes number board as if to say 'me? Where am I?' He looked like a little boy lost. Pendrey lost his dummy, and Strachan nearly lost it with Butcher or some one. This was the battlefield of old with General Cumberland Brewster and Major Mistake-Thompson confined to histoiry.

This was his SPL debut against the Champions no less.

If Hearts went into administration and if the SPL stopped them signing players....could pre-contract agreements be torn up? I suspect they could in the right circumstances.

Ict -v- Celtic : Matchday Thread
I had a good view of the tackle. So did the referee. McManus at times is positively dangerous the way he cuts across players or hits them from behind.

Ict -v- Celtic : Matchday Thread
McManus is not particularly polite when he tackles. The Celtic players are trained to act. Hamilton are quite good at it. We've been honest. Black's tackle was not done with any malice. Skippy is a big whinger.

Ict -v- Celtic : Matchday Thread
Well as the Celtic supporters all seemed to agree we were quite a poor pub team. If Butcher can get some the guys back toi fitness this might prove to be the best pub team in the SPL. One of the great thing about the players today was the fact they seemed to be getting their self respect back. The treatment they have had in recent months has been degrading and demeaning. The story need not be written because it is history and we have limited time to recover. The next game will be very difficult and we should look no further than that. Robson and Skippy are probably still gurning while Strachan and Pendry are over in Boots looking for new dummies. I wonder where Thompson and Brewster were?

Relegation: A 2 Horse Race?
I kidney not, once Hart was ripped out and despatched to sweetbread county, ICT lost its tenderloin. This lead to the supporters wining, the Chairman said 'have a mint', Thomo said 'we're at the bottom of the table, but that is not a crisis' in came Butcher who said 'no Brews after training now' while behind the scenes the Board quietly munched on humble pie hoping there would be a 6th course. In the meantime, Falkirk and anyone remotely close to the end of the table, made a sharp exit.

Relegation: A 2 Horse Race?
Butcher will not be responsible if Grassa gets the chop but maybe if we still serve up mince. The good thing is that 11 teams in front of us will get complacent thinking we are like a roll.

Let's all laugh at Livvy
This could screw up Brewster's debut for Ross County! Bring back Intelligent Finance on the shirts of Livvi players.

Where's The Money Coming From ?
Wilson - off the payroll Markus Paatelainen - off the payroll Rory and Guy - off the payroll Small sums perhaps but will have opened doors for new recruits currently 6 month gambles

Relegation: A 2 Horse Race?
There are no horses in the race to avoid relegation just some very nervous chairmen, managers and players. If Roy had been mature and kept his cool we might have scraped a point on Saturday at Hearts. We didn't so we start with this weekend's game. Celtic may witness some key player movements before Sunday so sooner rather than later our luck will change. Our players will get their self respect back under Butcher and Malpass. Malpass is a good number two and will be as determined as Butcher to win this battle. Guys like Bannerman will see this as a glorious opportunity whilst Essen, Cowie and Black, if he gets a chance, will want to lay down markers for Scotland. Imrie will likewise want to improve on his consistency and if he is a Rangers supporter you can bet he'll work himself into the ground on Sunday.

Hamilton -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
http://www.hamiltonadvertiser.co.uk/commen...51525-22749062/ Utter moonshine - hopefully we can ambush 6 points off them when it matters in our final two games against them this season.

Treat them as great players. Listen to them. Bring the fans and board together.

Wilson: "Bring Back Robbo"
Robbo like all the supporters, had pride in that promotion. Consequently he will give his last ounce of energy to retain the hard earned status in the SPL. Deep down if DJS believes Robbo can save us, he'll support his return. It would be interesting to see who voted for Brewster's return and the brainwashing of the supporters to justify that decision. If Robbo was once history perhaps the fans can forget that episode and join everyone in supporting Robbo and his new assistant to turn things around. Curiously enough, Robbo ventured down to the tunnel area before the Rangers game (or perhaps the Partick game) as he seemed to edge closer to the bench again. Unless Butcher has something special to offer I think Robbo will bring quite a bit of harmony to the Club before rapidly seeking to squeeze points out of impossible locations such as home.

Radio Scotland have just announced
John Robertson had been ruled out as a possible contender by David Sutherland (Chairman) in a TV interview where he made it clear the John Robertson was part of ICT's history and would be remaining there. http://caleythistleonline.com/news/archive...end-a-fans-view

it'll never work, it'll never work, it'l
Dragan you sound a bit like Brewster in terms of motivating players. We need the Shankly spirit and I for one believe that every single player we have is capable of raising their game when motivated to do so. They need support and respect and for 80 minutes at Hamilton on Saturday the Inverness crowds of old were evident in the chanting. The team we took to Parkhead when we won 3-1 was a team of grafters but also gifted with skills able to challenge the elite Celtic players. There is no doubt that if each one evaluates their skills and forgets this appalling Brewster and Thomson regime that they can produce the goods. We are still creating good chances and each and every player we have is capable of scoring. The ancient regime decided mass defence was the best form of attack but the best form of defence historically for this club was to attack. Every kid likes to pick up a ball run with it and score. The ancient regime seemed to make it impossible for the club to go forward. That regime is dead and buried. We all need to lay off the players and let them get back to normal. We definitely have the players to survive and whilst one or two quality players will help any team it is about realising potential.

Sack the board?
As you can see elsewhere http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/news/fu...ppointment.html Applications for the manager's job should be sent to chief executive Mike Smith at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium or emailed to [email protected] they have advertised the post and left Mike Smith to deal with applicants. Why have a chief Executive if he does nothing? Not many Division 1 clubs have a Chief Executive by the way.

Where were you?
That's that bit over but who shot CB? Was it a magic bullet that took MT out before he could ask if he could take the team this Saturday? Why were the curtains drawn when the press arrived? Will Brew's Car Park Plate be auctioned off in the MFR Charity Auction to the tune of the Magnificent Seven? What did the Hamilton fans know when they bade farewell to Brewster that we did not know?
