  1. Happy birthday boy. Didn't realise you were a comparative youngster.
  2. He's welcome here, I'll tell you. Get yourselves up here for a game - you can fly up from Bristol.
  3. Hear Deek Adams saying after the hibs game that they were "by far the better team in the derby" and had "many more opportunities to score" I don't know what game he was at. Erse.
  4. I reckon Roberts just got tired, the pace of the game here is a world away from what he's used to. Agree with IHE though, we never really looked as if we could lose this game despite Dundee having a lot of the ball for long spells. We certainly could'nt sustain the pace of the first 10 minutes - if we could we'd be Barca. I thought Shinnie, A. was MOTM by a country mile. Great feet, great awareness and he can finish. Fabulous.
  5. Yes. Without a doubt. We'll sit down with the club as soon as we can and rearrange a date, and build a training schedule around that to give ourselves the maximum chance we can. All of those who signed up for the original game get "first dibs" on any rearranged date. I'll be in touch.
  6. Don It's possible because he had better chemists than the anti-doping authorities, he had better lawyers than them, he had political clout AND he had effectively bought the governing body (the UCI) The UCI have had a poisitive sample from Armstrong from years ago, which they suppressed. The code of silence that Armstrong and his contemporaries connived with throughout the 90's ensured that no one was going to break ranks. It's just bullying. This isn't smoke, by the way - it's a conflgration and as a cyclist it makes me puke.
  7. Please note as per the other topic, this game is POSTPONED. New date to be arranged.
  8. Also known as "The Jimmy Savile Defence" Ooooooft! harsh, but true
  9. Fans practice session tonight and some promising performances from rossp, gringo jnr and a few others. Lookin' good, bring on those legends! Thanks to AS Fraser football for providing the opposition.
  10. I liked El Clachico...
  11. Cannae deny it, born and bred peh man, but it has to be said that ICT do rather float my boat.
  12. Dee, you need to get to the bookies more often
  13. That could be a result that defines our season. I was nervous about tonight because I wondered if we could string two good performances together - well, we can and it was no mean feat against the strongest C*unty side I've seen. The first half was unsustainably good - I spoke to a SFL manager who reckoned we should have been 4 or 5 up by half time. They had absolutely no answer to us. Second half, they got lucky with goal from an inept decision from an inept referee, but it was well buried by Vigurs. Doran's strike was a thing of beauty to finally tear the last wheel off the caravan. So where do we go now? Dundee should be within our grasp as an away win and Ibrox should hold no fears. as a postscript, if anyone in these here parts still maintains that they want Tokely and Munro here ahead of Meekings and Warren, you want your head examined. In addition to that, if anyone still thinks that these journeyman pro's don't care about the club, have a look at the playback or the highlights. Like Luke and ajsitc92 I reckon we could be on the verge of something here, and if you weren't there tonight you really need to get along - it won't last forever.
  14. I am so looking forward to this one either as a paying fan or as media. Hope it's media, 'cause I really want to reaquaint myself with the knuckledragger in the club deck who nearly exploded in a welter of bulging eyes and spit when I (too loudly) compared Gregory Tade (!!) with Cruyff. I honestly thought he was going to have a stroke, especially when I made eye contact. Should be able to push him over the edge this time.......
  15. Nope. They were pushing the "vengabus" back from Viccy Park....took them days.
  16. LOL I remember that! They got really hacked off when I started to quiz them about data protection and FoI requests to find out what they were up to. Nae sense of humour.
  17. Tokely, Munro and Duncan were fantastic servants for ICT. Two were released, the other forced out. There'll be no booing from me and no self-respecting ICT should be either. Didn't mention a word about booing. just not cheering as was suggested earlier in this thread by D's dad and you can interpret "treating accordingly" in whatever fashion you wish.
  18. Grant Munro, Ross Tokely and Mikie Fraser are C*unty players. End of, and treat accordingly. Cheer them? aye, right.
  19. Come on people, it could have been Bobby Madden! or Willie Gollum. Both are a fair whack worse than Brines. Allegedly
  20. I am as nervous as a kitten in a sack about this one. Rationally, I think we'll win. Their keeper is a recurring nightmare, their back four has the turning ability of the Bismark and their strikers by and large couldn't score in a turkish bordello. But I'm still nervous. I don't think I could take the abuse from my staggie colleagues and I've already told one neutral he's not getting back in the office without being deloused if he goes to the c*unty end. For the rest, the shotgun's under the desk. I hope, just hope that (if you'll pardon the pun) the wheels come off for Dingwall's "finest" That's the beauty of derby games.
  21. Laurence, I've read some sh*te on this forum in my time, but consider the biscuit taken. Lordy.
  22. I reckon we should get so many ICT fans in there that there's nae room at the inn when their caravan(s) arrive. That would be a real shame. edited for spelling after spilling lunch
  23. Can somebody rename this thread now that we've established there was no fiasco?
  24. I'll be there once the dirty arab relatives leave. It's just over the road fae ma hoose, so I'll supply tea, coffee etc.
