  1. Railway Terrace from the 60's looking towards the humped back bridge and the house at the top of Innes Street that had the parrots.
  2. You are psychic IHE I walked past the Mustard Seed yesterday and I said to my wife that I couldn't remember what it was before
  3. Thanks RiG you have provided much better information.
  4. Its not a dump as in landfill. It is to replace the existing waste transfer station on Henderson Drive which is not large enough. It will be a very large building though but should not affect the stadium.
  5. You are right Snorbens, that would have made it Manse Place which no longer exists.

    Ryan Dow

According to the P&J today he signed a new contract but they might let him go which seems strange.
  7. I think that might be George Street early 60's. The cars left to right Austin Healy Sprite (frog eyed sprite), Morris Minor, Morris 8 (I think) registered 1948, Standard Vanguard estate, Mini Traveller/Countryman and the front of a Standard Vanguard.
  8. Away before my time but it could be the early Glenelg to Kylerhea ferry or Stromeferry.
  9. It's the west end of Loch Affric and is indeed a beautiful place.
  10. Its ok for me I am watching the World Pipe Band Championships online
  11. No game today Laurence you will have to wait till next week
  12. When the subs were made it changed the game which we should have won with the crosses that were coming in from both sides ! Polworth was poor but has never been good played wide. As for the ref and linesman it should have been a free kick outside the box but they are all from the central belt
  13. Good preview Don, not much on the official site though.
  14. That's not out of Inverness it's phase 2 of Inshes Park a beautiful part of the City.
  15. I am sure the first one in the town was in Charlies Cafe but someone older than me might remember!
  16. Welcome back on Olde Inverness IHE. The lorry on the left is an Albion the one on the right is a Bedford O series and the car is an Austin A40 Devon registered in Aberdeen 1951 so I would guess the photo would be from the fifties.
  17. Just keep supporting your big team then
  18. That's a good start I hope we will get decent pies and sausage rolls.

    Hearts Game

This will be our biggest game so far but I think we can get a draw. I don't normally watch football on tv but looking forward to the game.

    Season Ticket

That's a bit of a debate, while I am slightly older than jagster but a lot younger than Scarlet and still pay full price for my season ticket and I am of course young at heart We did have a TV in the late 60's but didn't get a phone installed in the house till the 70's and were all told we were not allowed to use it as it was for other people to phone us ?
