Middle lane Cortina Mk1 estate, Hillman Super Minx, Hillman New Minx (Hunter Style), Morris 1000 van, Austin 1100, Morris 1000, Ford Capri, Mini, Ford Zepher. 3. I think I am with you now Scarlet the backend on the right is a Vauxhall Cresta PA from the late 50's
  4. Glen Affric beautiful at this time of year!
  5. IHE will be able to buy a luxury pad and retire home to Inverness! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-highlands-islands-34738167
  6. Rogers still there after all these years picture from late 50's, I wonder if the billiard rooms were in the back then! The Vauxhall Cresta 1955-56 might have belonged to George Rodgers Sen. Not many cars about with an Austin A40 Farina heading towards the Ferry and a parked Ford Popular van.
  7. The prefabs at the top of Benula Road were all still occupied in 1968 and I think it that year most moved out and they were demolished I think in 1969-1970, it was a firm called Fullton from Falkirk with light blue lorries, there was a lot of money in scrap aluminium back then!
  8. Had many a good night upstairs in the Carlton in the 70's but this must have been long before that!
  9. I wonder what Charles would look like with a pair of sh*te catchers on
  10. All the old ones had lots of chrome to polish, people must have had more time in them days, now its all plastic! IHE might give us the answers of the ones I missed
  11. No long before the Viva Scarlet looks like an Austin from the early 50's
  12. According to Hughes he is away home for acupuncture, or is it to mend a puncture..............och it's easy to go off topic!
  13. A hard one IHE can't make out the one facing, Ford Consul behind monument, Hillman Minx in corner, backend of MK2 Jaguar and Vauxhall Cresta I think.
  14. It was a regular in Fort Augustus in the 60's when that would have been taken, you can see cabinet for the electric locks which were installed about 1965. The white shop on the left was Leslie's (the spot to shop) and on the right was Macdonald's grocer, Macdougall's the butcher, Post Office and Macdonald's newsagent (and sweetie shop) Mrs Macdonald's husband Billy Macdonald run a mobile grocers and I think their youngest son played for Thistle in the late 70's. I think Scott 11 was bought by someone from Fort Augustus to be renovated.
  15. John Urquhart's shop on Lochalsh Road (now the Post Office) just across from the old SCWS and Farmers Dairy and on the right beside the white car the house with the lucky stone, never worked for me though!
  16. That's been a month an no answer, we are all beat!
  17. He is away back down south...........honest!
  18. Sho-Silva has gone back down south for treatment, no idea when he is due to return. The club keep very quiet about injury progress I was as surprised as were many to see Gary Warren on the bench yesterday.
  19. That's exactly what John Hughes said where Paul Hartley stated the ref was conned by THE penalty I don't think the club will risk loosing £1k on an appeal though.
  20. You get my drift bughtmaster I had to settle for an ice cream now and again from the shops but after reading the above posts I am glad!
  21. I would go with that Roughi, after a bad week we have nothing to loose!
  22. That is a VERY similar experience to mine in 1964 when, at 11, I had to get my sinuses flushed out and also was in adult ENT. Even then, the ice cream was also good! That might explain some of your rash posts in the Serious Discussion Thread Charles, I think they must have flushed out more than your sinuses
  23. Yes Charles that's it in the middle of the picture above. It also has the highest Railway Station and Distillery in the UK.
  24. Don't think there will be a big crowd for this one with it being on TV and after Saturday's performance. If they have TV's in Dingwall there will be even less in the South Stand . Early dinner for me and hope its worth while!
