  3. No no no to Scroobius Pip, Dean Shiels wont come here, unless it was a loan deal, and the lower league team would want us to pay the bulk of his wages I'd expect. Kevin Thompson would be interesting, but i expect bigger payers will jump ahead in the queue
  4. Thought I had been smoking something when I heard this. Hope ICT turns out to be the right joint for him. And yes I can remember him ripping us a new a hole on more than one occassion. Think it would be good for our forward thinking players, you never now Dwight Yorke might turn up to do some training with the forwards too, best friends I seem to recall
  5. Hearts should have been relegated like Rangers, I have very little sympathy for them, or Dundee for that matter. It will not be right at all if they manage to wangle there way to sign players, but if they do they should not be eligible for the cup semi.

  7. We are going through a poor patch, but today also showed how much Richie Foran drives our team on the pitch.
  8. Williams showed more hunger and determination than most if not all of our team today. He covered the pitch like Foran would, only Richie has more experience in that role.

  10. Yeah Rainbow I understand, but some refs dont know the rules......ie our corner kick goal/non goal, Partick keepers Ashley Young impression etc
  11. if you look at our fixtures over January February, it is quite a difficult period, and if Richie Foran is out for a while, it makes the task doubly difficult. We will in many ways see the difference Richie makes to this team, just as much as John Hughes does. However, we have done exceptionally well up to now this season, due to brilliant team performances, and also a reasonable fixture list more in our favour than against. Now the second half of the season appears to hand us a more difficult task the way the fixture come at us. At the start of the season, with last season weighing on our shoulders, we had bigger expectations. most would be happy top 6, some and a good number at that expect as much as hope Europe is our place. But that means top 3 or a Scottish cup win. Yogi will keep the ship steady with a top 6 finish, however, I do also think that 2nd or 3rd may also be down to the appointments of McNamara at Utd, and McInnes at Dons. Both with much bigger budgets and attraction power. McCall appears to be continuing his good work at Motherwell, so if we remain in the battle for the top 5 i will be happy. Next season will be the marker, and to be brutally honest, most of us will hope for top 6. So far, we would not have been suprised by the results over the last month if Tel and Mo were still here. We have relied very heavily this season on Mckay scoring, Forans drive, and our defence being excellent in the main. Test comes if Billy goes dry, Foran's out injured, and our defence loses confidence. I like Yogi's style of football, as long as its not all along the back line. With the right forward players, as we have right now, we can maintain our lofty place in Scottish football. Herte's hoping 2014 continues as 3013 has
  12. Crowds appear up at the moment, but its likely due to us playing teams with an away support. Kingsmills yes Celtic games have had over 7000 in the past, but they have always attracted less to TCS than Rangers for some reason, and all games with Celtic this season has been attracting less fans as there is nobody really competing with them over the whole season. When we get a run of home games Dons, Celts and the Co*nty ( Oh I was tempted there ) it will be disappointing not to get more than 16,000 for the 3 games. Certainly more than Dingwall are getting this season - Dougal and his mates must have stopped going this season eh. Aberdeen is 3-4 times the population of Inverness at least, so they should be getting 15,000 at games. Celtic at home games just now look more than half empty ( no exaggeration ) indeed it is quite shocking how much paying customers they have lost, whereas Rangers somehow appear to still be getting 40,000+. Only clubs with increases this season will likely be Dundee Utd, Dons up a bit, Hibs now, and us by a small amount probably. The rest, are likely to be down or very near the same.
  13. Although we didnt look to be as aggressive against Celtic, after losing a goal in two minutes we could have had a right hiding. The fact Celtic didn't play too well could have been down to our players preventing them from steam rolling over us, and Celtic's strength in midfield and full backs prevented ICT from getting at them too much. Forster did have a busier day then usual, even though most saves you would expect most keepers to make. We will no matter what miss Richie's drive and determination in the team, and it is important the team do not dwell on this, with important games v County, Well and Arabs coming up. The point about Motherwell hammering Plastic Whistle whereas we couldnt, did anyone see the amount of mistakes the other Jags defence made. We need a bit more aggression v County tomorrow, along with the ball retention, as I'm sure they will be targeting the fact that Foran will be in the stand.
  14. Think it maybe shows some refs are giving us a little bit more respect. However, if he was booked or sent off, would he have given a penalty to Celtic!!!!!! I wonder if there is anything in the rule book to cover the ref getting in the way of the defender. Well done Ross, although I do think what he said as he pushed him may have had a bearing on the way the ref reacted
