Playing the way we have recently, we are improving quite a bit. From bottom to second may be asking a lot, but we will not be as poor in the table for the next campaign, even though we will be 5th or even 6th in the seedings. However even 4 points in the next few games could change everything, but it could also be 0 points. Hate to say it but Strachan has changed the outlook, not because I dont want Scotland to be successful, more than I cant stand the man.

Not doubting how much they spend on their youth, in fact its more than ICT's annual budget. Point Im making is they go sign some of these imports, keeping out the developed youth, and not really giving the young lads a chance. Rangers were the same with their CL money. Thing is every import is preventing a young Scot from progression, and experience, and are they better than they have. Will this Nir Biton be any superior to Murray Davidson, Gary Warren ( i know he isn't a Scot ) etc.

Point regarding Hooper, Higdon, Griffiths, Russell and Daley. Apart from Higdon, Billy outscored them all in the league last season, but Hooper goes for £ 5m plus, what value would ICT put on Mckays head if anyone did come in for him. At present form he should be our first million pound player, but I bet they would be less ambitious with their valuation at the stadium.

One of our neighbours sons worked in one of the towns betting shops a few years back, during Blacks spell here. He knew just about ALL the players by there first name, and they all knew him. Several were daily customers, and one who is still actively playing was in every day during his time here, and would bet on our games. 160 bets in how many years, thats nothing, some of them will have done that in a month or fortnight. Betting against your own team, I dont have a problem with, aslong as he wasnt sent off, scored an own goal or missed a penalty. One thing about Ian Black you couldnt say was he didnt put 100% into his game, thats why he has been booked so often.
