our defence will reduce the goals shipped, as more of our players come back the stronger we will become, Hogg, Tudor Jones, Cox to be the blockers and give us better protection. That elusive clean sheet cant be far away, although the next two games will be a big test of our new confidence. Think Dundee Utd, Aberdeen and Dunfermline have had trouble here too
  2. They could do with a win. Not done very well in the league so far
  3. Glasgow City are and have been the best team in the womens spl for ages. But both Rangers and Celtic also have teams in the league, so it not a united Glasgow team, so they must be the Queens Park or Partick Thistle of the league. Think Inverness are 8th or 9th in the league, clear of relegation but a good bit adrift from the top teams
  4. they were lucky
  5. Michael O Neill, Jim Jeffries with Brown, Jimmy Calderwood etc will be a bigger shout. Hibs wont like to pay compensation, especially to take a manager in a lower league position than themselves. Plenty of good managers out of work so they wont be short of applicants
  6. He is starting to become Kenny Miller like, work rate and goals. Looks like a good partnership starting with Shinnie n Tade. How many is that between them? ELEVEN
  7. The Orange Calderwood
  8. thought just crossed my mind. Are we barking up the wrong tree by having such a strong forward in Tade, maybe he should get some lessons from Murphy, Jelavic, Stokes, Hooper, Mackie, Naismith, and all the Killie front men in the art of cheating a ref, and the SFA panel.
  9. Hearts going bust might just mean we are safe this season no matter how we get on once all our players are fit. Players looking for a club after been disposed by Hearts, the high earners will go to England probably, or most of them, but will they end up fielding under 19s in games. 25 point deduction possible. How many teams did Romanov try to buy before he got Hearts. Bet they are all glad they turned him down. Seem to remember Raith were one of the teams he tried to " save "
  10. Meaning who outplayed who!
  11. Pure class. Would love it if they start talking about the Juanjo incident and show / prove he lied to the nation.
  12. it does lie, because that was no way the second best team in the country playing the worst team in the spl at the weekend. But for luck you wouldnt know which team was in which place
  13. Still think that December and January are our big big months. With injured players back and fit, this period will more than shape our season. Just being able to stay close enough to the rest will do for me in November. When Hogg, Cox, Tudor-Jones, Doran and Hayes are fit and playing we will be a different force
  14. Had a bet it would be 1-4, went ok until injury time. What suprised me was that it suprised so many folk. Im neither a united fan or city fan, but do want someone else to win the league, same as in Scotland however dont think that to be possible these days up here.

  17. Daniel Stratford having a good game

I rather think that now is not the month to moan our misfortune, we have two big games coming up, then a hard three games in November. The real test will come in December and January. we will have our big injuries back - and had time to get match fit aswell. December and January will also bring around those games against the teams in the lower half again, and that is when our season will be shaped. Tade works tirelessly but he aint going to get 15 goals this season, he needs someone beside him who will poach of his hard graft. Hayes and Doran will be back to introduce trickery, pace and directness. Cox and Tudor Jones will return to help seal the gaping holes our defence is finding it hard to prevent. Once we have our uninjured first 14-15 regular squad we are nowhere near the worst team in the league. Take a point from Celtic at the moment, we have had double the amount of injuries they have had, and look at what a difference that has made to them over the last month. You take 4 or 5 players out of Rangers and they will suffer the same way. You take 6 players out of ant other team in the SPL and each would nosedive. Have faith peeple, we will soon be on the march up the table to avoid a relegation battle. I have kept saying if we stay in touch until the injuries ease we will be ok, and I still trust that will be true
  19. Tel and Mo are aware. Our most natural captain at the back line is injured ( Hogg ), weve used just about everyone else in the back line. Our defensive midfield is out injured ( Cox and Jones ), Our wide midfielders who should stop opponents wing backs from getting forward ( Hayes and Doran ) are out, which also reduces our attacking threat from midfield reducing scoring opportunities and assists. Come on, take out 6 or 7 probable starters from most teams and they will be effected. Certainly the likes of Killie, both Saints, Hibs, Hearts, Arabs, Dons, Motherwell and Dunfermline wouldn't do as well, and Rangers proved against Falkirk they cant do without a few either. Look at the Englandshire league and you see the same happen in the league cup when the EPL clubs leave out several over paid stars, and then struggle or go out against lower league clubs. Toks is still the heart of our club, and is far from " finished". Playing with a different partnership will not help anyone at the moment but what can they do with so many injuries. And if you look at their background, Kenny has been in the UK for years, as has Golobart, should think they know English by now, especially what they need to know. Piermayr being Austrian will likely have a good level of English, as European countries do emphasize the learning of other languages, unlike our good old UK with our totally inward way of thinking.
  20. We all wish that we could have started the season a bit better, but look at the whole story. We have more injuries than fit players it seems. They are slowly starting to get back, and I believe they will make a big difference to our fortunes. We have been shipping goals, but our injuries have played a part in this. When have we played the same team for 2 or 3 games in a row. Defending starts from your strikers, not just the back line. Where has our luck gone, it cant continue where we hit the keeper, or the post and crossbar, or the ball is millimeters away from reaching to score. We have shown in patches what we can do, same as two seasons ago, we struggled at first and then blew everyone away. We are not the worst team in the league, we are better than the Dons and Hibs, who were both lucky to beat us. We will get off the bottom in the next few weeks, and that will give enough confidence for the results to improve and then as we get Johnny, Lee, Arron etc back we will be a force to trouble all the teams in the league. I know what Tel and Mo are trying to do, and it will click. Keep the faith
  21. Laurence, dont type what you dont know. You are just making a fool of yourself.
  22. Keep the faith. If we get someone up beside Tade to put it in the net, we will be smiling
  23. Simple. Massive Celtic victory. 6 OR 7 goals.

Celtic will be so fired up after their old firm defeat. Hope that County are the ones to take the tanking midweek. Think if it was a draw or tic win at Ibrox county would have been facing a second string. Can see Hooper, Stokes and Bangura getting a couple each, and hopefully they wont be so fired up come the weekend. Worst case scenario - county still in the cup. We know Celtic Park will not be easy, but why not make it hard for them. Solid back four, two defensive mids, three attacking mids, one striker prepared for an almighty kicking, and of course plan b and c in the back pocket Who ever gets the attacking role will need to hold the ball up, get wide and direct. Tics defense will not be confident, El Kadouri looks ropey, Mulgrew banned, Rogne and Loovens not very good, and Majstorovic a liability. Wilson is the only reliable
