I'm of the opinion that this thread is more tongue in cheek than actual resignation that we are doomed, the first div is not the bright side but more like Darth Vader inviting us to the 'dark side'. I worry that the players will give in as they seem to be playing with less spirit than last season when we climbed out of the mire, The bright side is that as professional footballers, with i'm sure pride in what they do, they will realise that they really ARE in a dogfight at the bottom of the SPL and will have to turn it round. There were 4 ladies, of various ages, behind me on saturday, who tried to get a chorus of "there's only one craig Brewster" going after Tokley scored with no success or support from anyone else. These were the only fans supporting Brewster at the game on saturday They were Motherwell supporters in the wrong bit ya dafty!!

I actually disagree with that. Grassa is one small voice in the corridors of ICT. He has this club in his heart. He may, or may not, have had something to do with bringing Brew back but, on his own, has no power to get rid. Grassa's job is to negotiate contracts with the people identified by the manager. If there not identified there's no negotiating. Translate not identified as not wanted. Bennett had a lot more to do with hiring Brew than you think Alex, a lot more. Its his job to act as go-between from Football manager to the Board, also to hire/fire whom he sees to benefit the running/success of the club.
