  1. Worst performance I have watched all season. Johnny Hayes worked hard but not fit and hooked in second half. Lots of long balls up to Rooney but as usuall way too high. Duff what can I say duff by name and duff passer by nature. We had one or two very good chances but no one wasw up to putting them in. For most of the game we were second to everything with DU sweeping forward in numbers and somehow they seem to be able to pass the ball to each other with ease, a trick that for most of the game we could not master. Foran got man of the match but in fairness it could have gone to any one of five DU players. The only good news is that there are two worse teams than ours in the SPL. I predict tenth place unless there is a massive change. Heaven knows how we would be looking in a ten team SPL, with this sort of performance we will all have sore necks looking up at teams above us.
  2. Terrible display by us yesterday. Hibs were very busy about the park and their two goals in the second half were both well taken. I couldn't see a goal coming in the first half from either team and it was significant that both second half goals were long range efforts. Our central defence worked hard, Ross Tokley in particular but full backs were woeful. Midfield were always under pressure and in my opinion, played too deep. Dorran worked hard but was left with too much to do and too far down the park when he got the ball. Passing throughout the team was very poor with Duff in particular playing the ball either directly to Hibs or off for a throw-in, throughout the game. Eric was a total waste of oxygen and should have been hooked in the first five minutes All in all a poor performance from Inverness. Hibs were not that much better, looking nervous at the start but worked harder and took advantage of our poor passing and all the space we left them. Probably a one goal win would have been a better reflection on the efforts and abilities of both teams. It was very disappointing to see the number of Inverness supporters who walked out after the second goal. Great to see such a full house though and for the first time this year we heard the Hibs supporters singing. Of course they had something to sing about.
  3. Classic, good stuff from Adam and Terry on sportscene too.
  4. I voted yes but that is more in terms of wishful thinking. Last season I wished for promotion but didn't expect it. I would be happy if we stayed in the SPL but I don't think that long term we have the finances to stay here. That will only get worse in a ten team SPL.
  5. I use P&B more than this nowadays but mainly lurk. The only problem with it is the way nearly every topic decends into ranting.
  6. 40% of the fee. That would amount to ?0 then as this is all tosh.
  7. Got to be a top six finish this year, happy days.
  8. Great defending by the ICT. Hearts are the form team in the SPL at this time but we have burst the bubble.
  9. Delighted for Dewburydude hope it stays that way for you. I don't care otherwise mon the Caley
  10. Fully agree with your view on our style today. Keep taking the medicine.
  11. You can walk on air? Of course, can't you?
  12. Just opposite the Airport, south side of A96. Iknow that would be a touch akward for the majority but then I could walk there. Oh yes when I'm at it put a railway station there and a supporters club. It's not asking for much.
  13. Sit down for the Caley Jags.
  14. Fannybaws:tongueincheek:
  15. What was this all about? Yes spill the beans. ICT for me.
  16. Yes get rid. Stop the childish bullying.
  17. Perhaps this should be removed to nonsense thread.
  18. Breaking news: Jerry Reinsdorf & Eddie Einhorn Owners of the Chicago White Sox, AKA the dirty sox, are considering making an offer for Dundee FC. This would include buying the stadium and clearing all debts. Jerry Reinsdorf was quoted as saying, "Sure the team has had problems but with their glorious history they are a steal at just five of your Scottish pounds." Eddie Einhorn said simply, "As a club we are used to a bit of dirty dealing so no problems there."
  19. This can not be allowed to continue. At times during the match we sounded just like a football crowd.
  20. More details please timing of the penalty and scorer would be helpful,
  21. I will be there, think we could win this. Definitely sticking to home games from now on. I missed the last away game and we won. I also missed the Dumdee Unknited game and we won, I am swearing off away games as we seem to lose or draw every one I go to and win all the ones I don't.
  22. He has finally listened to what the ICT support had been telling him for years! Where's Oats when you need him. spot on take 1
  23. I don't think Erik should be starting for us. Bring him on as a sub in the second half when defences are tiring and he has had a good 45 minutes plus to assess the state of the pitch and work out which studs to wear.
