Looks very close to the 18 yard line. Can understand how the officials made an honest error.

profit or loss?
It would be shocking if it was correct.

ST Holder Offer : Friends for a Fiver
A good initiative for an important game at a time when our crowds are at at all time low for the top tier. Let's hope the club are rewarded by a healthy take uptake.

profit or loss?
Agreed. Could become rather tedious.

profit or loss?
The other £230,000 comes from lower league prize money as a result of dropping a place, a reduction in gate income and reduced commercial revenue. Gross income from our League Cup run is, without doubt, closer to £400,000 than £100,000

County will beat Rangers in the playoffs. If that proves to be the end of season scenario count me as a staunch County fan..

profit or loss?
Income from the League Cup and compo for Butcher would have been nowhere near £500k. If income from the League Cup got anywhere near 6 figures I would be surprised given the lack of sponsor and increased costs from not having use of the National Stadium for the finals. Factor in the lack of any league sponsor income for the season as well and, all in all, I think it's a miracle that the club managed to keep things in the black. I too am worried that we only turned a profit of £28,000 in such a successful year and agree with the OP that that would have been a loss approaching half a million pounds in a less successful season.. To suggest that income from the league cup was nowhere near a hundred thousand pounds is frankly ridiculous given that gate receipts alone for the semi and the final were in the region of a million pounds of which we would have received more than a third. Taking into account earlier rounds, TV income and other benefits I would be astonished if we earned short of £400,000 from that cup run which will not be replicated this year.

Ibra Sekajja
Suspect that is because he is unproven with no track record.

Rangers -V- Inverness CT
Hibs demonstrated last night the merits of treating The Rangers as the mediocre Championship side they are and having a go at them rather than standing off like they were Barcelona or even Celtic.

Rangers -V- Inverness CT
Disappointing result and, by the sound of it, performance. Even more disappointing that Yogi is talking up the performance and describing the Rangers as a great and massive team. They are in a lower league, we have better players, we are the better team and not that much changed from the side that thumped them 3-0 two years ago. We gave them 'respect' they no longer warrant and we paid the price. A the Premiership team we should have been up and at them from the start rather than treating it as though it was the Rangers team of a decade ago playing the ICT team of the same era.

With respect, there are always two teams on the pitch and, depending on what the other team does, every team needs a plan B.

Rangers cup game.
No but if you offer them a few quid they will probably sell you the gate.

Thistle v Thistle
Thankfully, the withdrawl symptoms caused by the international break will soon be alleviated and we can look forward to continuing our recent fine run. Does anyone know whether Foran is yet fit or close to being fit ? Personally, even if he is, I would start with the same starting eleven and the same formation as we played against Kilmarnock with the ability to bring on subs who can make a genuine impact later on. Partick will be a stiff challenge as they too have made a decent start to the season, are scoring freely and are high on confidence much like ourselves. They also seem to have overcome the inability to win at Firhill that plagued them last season so that will no longer be a factor. Despite that, I believe that we can come back up the A9 with three points in the bag although I have a feeling that Dean Brill may be picking the ball out of the net for the first time. Does anyone have a different view on the starting XI and/or formation ?

Ross County NEW Manager
I agree with Mantis. Actually think it will turn out a shrewd appointment and sadly lacking in seethe factor.

Christie call up...
No great surprise he was unused, a bit like the best left back in the land not getting into the senior squad, Central Belt bias.
