Team for the Perth Saints
This. I'd like to see Polworth and Christie get some game time too. Local players, and all that. More to the point, skillful young players with great potential.

merger with C#unty?
Haven't had a decent merger for twenty years now. High time we had another one.

Inverness C.T. -V- Hibernian
After three less than convincing away performances we were back to close to our entertaining best today with Foran and Doran particularly outstanding if the latter was a little more composed in front of goal he would be the best player in the land. That said, some of the Hibs defending was woeful and in contrast to our own back four who must be the best we have ever had in the history of our club with all due respect to legends like Tokely and Munro. Another encouraging aspect of today was that the home support seemed, by quite a margin, to be the highest of the season and, if this sort of entertainment and success goes on, will only increase. The only slight disappointment was Nick Ross's 'simulation'. We don't need to resort to that. Last season was sensational and I, for one, am begining to dream that this one could be even better.

New Home Shirt 2014-15
Red and blue stripes with black trim should be our identity. Currently, it is not easy to distinguish our strip at any distance from that of the team who bought over the Rangers franchise.

All To Play For
A home tie is all we could have asked for at this stage. Going to be difficult nevertheless as the Arabs seem to be coming into a bit of form.

Names on .top
I know that those in the media probably feel obliged to but are we, as ordinary fans, going to go along with the farce of calling the second tier of football in this country ' The Championship' ?
-
All To Play For
Great for the game and the tournament in my opinion. Seven top tier teams who are fairly evenly matched and a second tier team who have demonstrated that, on their day, they are a match for anyone. Can't get much more open than that. A template for what Scottish football could be like without the Ugly Sisters.

All To Play For
With Celtic's elimination from the League Cup the tournament is wide open. No doubt others will be thinking along the same lines but it may be our best ever opportunity to win our first major national trophy.

Grant Street Park
My late father, a Clach supporter all his days, who was generally reliable and not given to overstatement spoke of being in a crowd of 13,000 at Grant Street for a friendly match against Rangers circa 1947.

James Vincent for Northern Ireland
As I understand it, James Vincent is English, his parents are both English, neither he or his parents have ever resided in Northern Ireland and he only has a vague idea that there may be a connection with that country. It would be a sad reflection on International football if he were able to turn out for a country he only has a remote connection with.

Can We Win The League?
For as long as one team in the league has a turnover greater than all the others put together only that team will win the 36 game marathon that is the league. Can we finish best of the rest and win a cup ? Why on earth not ?

Boosting attendances
Suspect the 'temporary' stands will be there for the next twenty years.

Who will be relegated this season
Can see St Mirren going down automatically with Hearts surviving via the play offs.

Inverness CT -V- Hearts
I agree. It has taken over 130 years of professional football being played in Scotland for a team from Inverness to be in this position and goodness knows when, if ever it will happen again. This could well be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Get away from the TV, forget about charms of The Eastgate Centre and the Retail Park and get yourself along to the stadium and, while you're about it, bring a friend or two with you.

Inverness CT -V- Hearts
Very competent performance today against a committed young Hearts side who competed well until they run out of steam. The second half was about as one sided as it gets and if Billy had had his shooting boots on and a bit of good fortune he could have had a double hat trick. Thought Foran was immense and my man of the match. Every year we have been in the top league my first concern has been to avoid relegation but, not yet out of August, I think we can say with utter confidence that that will not be a concern this season. Who would have thought that we would ever see a team from Inverness topping the league this far into the season playing attractive fast flowing football with the hardest working and most prolific forward player in the land ? The only down side is that, despite all that, fewer than 3,000 home supporters bother to turn up.

Season Ticket Sales
Some seasons ago Motherwell experimented with heavily discounting ticket prices for a protracted period in the hope that crowds would swell. It didn't happen to any great extent and they ended up in administration.
-
Season Ticket Sales
There has hardly been a stampede of fans anxious to take the Perth Saints up on that offer.

Song for Caley
Reference to history seems a bit lop sided with the chorus and reference to eagles

League Cup Third Round Draw
Tough draw. Will need to be fully focused.
-
League Cup Third Round Draw
Personally, I would like Stranraer away. An easy tie for any competent top league club and I'm sure we would take at least 16 fans.
-
Team for Hearts
I just hope it doesn't make us over confident.
-
League Cup Third Round Draw
Not sure who we will get but it sure aint going to be a local derby

How much is wee Billy worth?
Maybe we should go a step further and give any club wanting to aquire Billy a modest inducement to make sure he is not about to put us in the perilous position of risking European football.
