North of Scotland Cup
Good to see Proctor getting a game under his belt.

ICT v Hibernian: Matchday Thread
Decent perfrormance from a squad still gelling apart from the final third. A competent forward would have scored at least two yesterday.
-
Chris Hogg signs again
A decent player with experience of the SPL. Not unhappy with this news.

Doran & McKay Signed
Really pleased with this news, especially as regards Doran. My only concern with the way the squad is shaping up is lack of experience. We shed half a dozen experienced campaigners at the end of last season and so far, Tade apart, we have recruited only relatively untried youngsters. I have a real fear that unless we sign at least a couple of wiser older heads we could get seriously caught out when the going gets tough in the forthcoming SPL campaign.

Caley away kit
Like it very much. My kids will have new summer tops.

Caledonian Scarf?
Agree entirely with Smee and Charles that Caledonian FC, despite dropping their geographical prefix in fit of pique, Inverness Thistle and ICT have a proud combined history amounting in total to over 260 years and that it is wholly appropriate to celerbate all three tranches on this forum. Now, to business, I need a new rag to clean my car and will happily offer a quid for that ribbon of nylon and acrylic !

Duncan Shearer Returns
Just about enough time has now elapsed for him to be forgiven for his remarks to Tam Cowan on the eve of his and Pele's, ultimately ill fated, move to Pittodrie !

Who is ICT's most overrated player?
Just can't see past Barrowman for this particular award.
-
YeovilTown v ICT
I like your part of the world. May well take the kids for a seaside break at Weston combined with a couple of matches if we are on a "tour" of south west England.

Russell Duncan & Grant Munro leaving
Personally I believe that while both Roy and Golly are no longer SPL quality, Both Russell and Munro could do a job for at least another couple of seasons. I would be surprised if we find two better replacements in the same wage bracket, which is the only bracket we can afford. I believe that this is probably the worst mistake in Butcher's tenure at the club but only time will tell whether the manager is right or the majority of fans posting on this thred are.

Scotland v England at TCS
What size of crowd was there for this game ?

Refuseniks
I have little doubt that Caley would have held their own in the lower reaches of the SFL had they alone gained league status, as indeed would have Thistle had they not been snubbed in favour of the Ferranti works team in the seventies. However, I am in no doubt that they would not have attracted the fan base or sufficient financial imput from the commerecial or public sector to have ever had the resources to to finance full time football and thus reach the dizzy heights of the SPL. That was a task that was challenging enough and almost bankrupted the club as things are. I may not be typical but myself and my family would still be supporting Thistle in the Highland League rather than following the fortunes of Caley oscilating between the first and second divisions.

Esson
There's no doubt that Jim Calder is one of the two best part time players to have played for the club but, overall, Esson is the best all round 'keeper.
-
Rooney in talks with Hibs
Adam owes us nothing. He is doing what the rules entitle him to. Hibs are a much bigger club than ICT and can probably pay three times our best offer.
-
Call To Arms
Was at that particular final between Jags and Elgin. Have to say any mayhem going on was utterly lost on me.
-
Matchday Thread : Celtic -V- ICT
Just fabulous.
-
Scottish Cup
Great draw. A chance for a stroll down memory lane and a boost for the coffers too. I would expect Elgin to take a thousand or so. Probably more than anyone other than Aberdeen or the Od Firm.
-
Matchday Thread: Rangers -V- I.C.T.
We can go on to win this.

SPL Expansion. Good for us?
Sixteen team league playing each other once home and away with a decent winter break. Might reduce income a bit but would, in my opinion, lead to better quality football.
-
ICT or not ICT?
Quite fancy Inverness Thistle Caledonian !
-
hypothetical
To answer the original poster's question, I would give nothing to Caley. I might, however, make a modest investment in ICT.
-
Scotland U21s
Gives us a reasonable chance of qualification.

Scotland U21s
What was the final score ?

Dundee saved
Perhaps it should simply be closed.

The season is becomming a bit of a mess
Far too early in the season for such a critical thread. Let's see what things are looking like after the first round of eleven games.
